Police Now Suspect Foul Play In The Disappearance Of Sky Metalwala
November 11, 2011 at 10:18 am by Jaded
Bellevue, WA — For those of you following the Sky Metalwala case, I have a few updates for you. And it’s not looking too good…
Authorities determined Wednesday that Julia Biryukova’s Acura did not run out of gas Sunday morning – she could have continued driving for “a considerable distance.” Police had planned to take the vehicle on a test drive to rule out any other mechanical problems Thursday. And though I have yet to find any additional information on said mechanical inspection, I’d be willing to bet the car ran just fine.
Police say Julia was on her way to the hospital that morning because Sky hadn’t been feeling well. Bellevue police Maj. Mike Johnson said an email Julia sent to a friend Sunday morning is the only evidence police have that Sky was ill. He also said Julia would have had a helluva time buying gas or getting Sky treated…she left her cellphone, purse, wallet and identification at home that morning.
An FBI agent with expertise interviewing children has spoken to Maile, Sky’s older sister, and the little girl said her brother was in the car, wrapped in a blanket, on Sunday, “which wasn’t what we expected to hear,” Johnson said.…

Bellevue, WA — Bellevue police and the FBI are searching for Sky Metalwala, a 2-year-old boy who vanished after he was left alone in an unlocked car Sunday morning.
Police say the boy was with his mother and 4-year-old sibling when they ran out of gas around 8 a.m. that morning. The woman took the 4-year-old with her and walked about a mile to a Chevron gas station, police said, leaving Sky behind.
At Chevron, the woman reportedly called a friend for help. She later told police her friend picked her up as she was walking back to her 2-door silver Acura, and when they reached the car, Sky was gone. The mother also told police the boy was strapped into his car seat when she left and she had locked the driver’s side door, but the other door was not locked.
Sky was reported missing at 9:50 a.m.
Investigators say the car seat was still in the car and there were no signs of forced entry. Police initiated a reverse 911 call in the area to alert residents, and King County Search and Rescue tracking dogs helped search the nearby wooded area.…

LEWISTON, Maine - The whereabouts of a woman who went missing 28 years ago may have been discovered after a body was found in a freezer owned by a man who died recently.
Frank Julian was 52-years-old when his on-again-off-again girlfriend, 29-year-old Kitty Wardwell, went missing back in 1983. Julian was the last person to see her alive and told authorities that the last time he saw her was when he dropped her off at a motel after a fight.
Wardwell has never been seen or heard from since and police said she probably was the victim of foul play. Julian was interviewed by police on several occasions, but never got enough evidence to warrant searching his property. Now the mystery of what happened to Wardell may have been solved after Julian died unexpectedly on October 1.
Some of Julian’s family members were cleaning out a storage unit he rented when they found an unplugged freezer that contained a gruesome surprise; human body parts.
The freezer was removed with the remains inside to be taken to the chief medical examiner for an autopsy and DNA test. The autopsy report and DNA test results may be released as early as today.…

WESTON, W.Va. - A 3-year-old girl has been missing since Saturday and the outcome is not looking like it will be a good one.
Hundreds of volunteers have joined authorities in their search for 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford, but after two days of looking, a sheriff’s department lieutenant said they “haven’t come up with anything.”
The girl was last seen by her mother and an older sister sleeping in her bed around 6:30 a.m., Saturday morning. When her mother went to take her temperature a few hours later, she was gone.
Aliayah’s stepfather had already been picked up and left for work so her mother jumped into her car and drove around looking for her daughter, running out of gas in the process. She called the police at around 11:30.
Since then police, along with K-9 units and hundreds of volunteers, have been looking for the girl. Divers are in nearby waters after a bloodhound detected Aliayah’s scent near a river located 150 yards from her home. The scent, however, could be three to seven days old.…

West Valley City, Utah – Over the last couple of years, I have always meant to write up something regarding Susan Powell, the 28-year-old from Utah who vanished over two years ago. No real reason why I didn’t, but I think at the time she disappeared we were posting on a handful of missing women. So here’s my all-in-one post spurred by the recent arrest of her creepy father-in-law.
Susan was last seen by her husband and person of interest, Josh Powell, who told authorities that the last time he saw his wife was right before he took their two sons, ages 2 and 4, on a midnight camping trip during a snow storm.
According to Josh, she wasn’t feeling well and decided not to go. When he returned home the following day, Susan was nowhere to be found, although she had left her purse, cell phone, and car behind. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Of course no one is buying Josh’s alibi as it is retarded.…

Mitchell, Neb. – I’m sure a lot of you have already gotten the bad news, but for those of you who did not hear, they have found the body of 8-year-old Kerra Wilson and have arrested her stepfather.
Wilson’s family reported her missing Wednesday afternoon after her school called and informed them she had never shown up that day.
Her stepfather, 32-year-old Salvador Carlos Lopez, claimed to have dropped her off at Mitchell Elementary that morning. But following interviews with school staff and Wilson’s classmates, as well as video surveillance footage, police do not believe him and determined Wilson was never on school grounds that day.
Yesterday evening a local rancher contacted authorities and told them he had found something suspicious and felt they should come check out an area of land. There, within some rugged terrain a few miles north of Mitchell, investigators would find Wilson’s dead body. Based on evidence found at the scene, Lopez was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
“We were hoping to bring Kerra (Wilson) safely home to her family; sadly we weren’t able to do that,” said Lt.…

AURORA, Colo. – Police have found the 15-year-old girl we reported on earlier this week who had faked her own abduction.
An officer in an unmarked police car spotted Jasmine Fike near a fast-food restaurant on Monday. She had altered her appearance and had been staying in a motel she had checked into using a fake ID.
The teen sparked a statewide Amber Alert after calling 911 and reporting a man, a convicted drug dealer, was trying to break into her home last Wednesday. When police arrived, Fike was missing and there were signs of a struggle. Police would later report that while they were still actively looking for Fike, the entire abduction was a hoax orchestrated by the teen.
She is currently in a juvenile facility, but cops made a strange comment when they were asked what kind of condition Fike was in when they found her.
“Her condition is relevant to what she’s been through, and if I comment on that, it would be a clue to what we’re investigating,” Aurora Police Detective Bob Friel told the Denver Post.…

AURORA, Colo. – Police would like to talk to the 15-year-old girl who staged her own abduction last week, triggering an Amber Alert and a lot of police resources wasted on her dumbass.
It all started with a 911 call (you can listen to it here) in which Jasmine Fike tells the dispatcher that she needs help, that someone is breaking into her home and trying to kidnap her. When police arrived at her home, they did not find Fike but did find signs of a struggle in her bedroom.
An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday morning in which a man named Franky Session, who has since been cleared of any wrongdoing, was named as a possible suspect.
Police still don’t know where Fike is, but they say she is travelling with known ciminals and that she had faked the entire abduction.
“We had dozens and dozens of people working on this case and what we learned is this is all a hoax,” says Det. Bob Friel. ”There’s a bit of astonishment to the lengths she went to carry out her hoax.…

KENNETT, Mo. – A neighbor has been arrested and charged with the murder of Breeann Rodriguez, the 3-year-old who went missing on August 6 while riding bicycles with her 6-year-old brother.
The little girl vanished right outside her home after her brother went inside to get a drink. This lead to a massive search that included billboards displaying the girl’s picture, the search of a couple cargo vans seen in the area and a $45,000 reward.
The search intensified after the girl’s training wheels were found near her home on Thursday. But on Saturday, police announced they had someone in custody and had charged them with the girl’s murder.
Police say they will continue to search for the girl’s body, but that 43-year-old Shawn Morgan suffocated Rodriguez on the day she went missing. He has now been charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence.
I did not follow this case very closely. I just remember them finding her training wheels and then over the weekend, heard that both of Breeann’s parents had failed polygraph tests.…

Aruba – Here’s a missing person story I am sure you have all heard about, especially since the person missing is a pretty, blond, American woman who has vanished while in Aruba… from the same resort town where teenager Natalee Holloway was last seen six years ago. DUN DUN DUNNN!!!
Did you hear a sound like a parachute opening? That was Nancy Grace’s vagina opening up like a blooming rose.
What is currently being reported is that 35-year-old Robyn Gardner went on a 5-day vacation with 50-year-old Gary V. Giordano, who is from Maryland. Giordano says he last saw Gardner as they snorkeled together off Baby Beach. He claims the tide got rough so he tapped informed Gardner they should swim to shore. When he got out of the water he realized she was not with him and went back in to look for her.
After having no luck locating her, he alerted local police who used ships, helicopters and divers, to search the area where Giordano said he had last seen her, but they were also unable to find any sign of Gardner.…

WEST STEWARTSTOWN, N.H. – Things aren’t looking too good in the case of Celina Cass, the 11-year-old who went missing from her bedroom last week.
News reports are starting to come out that a female body was pulled from the Connecticut River this morning, a quarter mile from the home Cass shared with her mother and stepfather.
Essex County states attorney Vincent Illuzzi says an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death and that the body has not been identified yet. They are not releasing any further info at this time.
Also interesting to note, and sure to get the speculation whipped into a fervor, are reports that Cass’ stepfather, Wendell Noyes, was rushed by ambulance to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital for undisclosed reasons.
For those of you not following this case, Cass was last seen in her room on the computer a week ago. Her parents told police they woke up on Tuesday to find her missing. This sparked a massive search that included the Connecticut River that runs close to the house.…

Houston, TX – I started writing about 24-year-old Amber Elkins on Saturday. She’s young mother who went missing on July 24 and whose car was discovered the next day covered in blood. Now there’s been two major developments that extinguished anyone’s hopes of her ever returning home safely.
Elkins was last heard from as she headed to court to attend a custody hearing regarding her 9-month-old daughter. She never made it. The next day her car was discovered at an abandoned car wash. The front passenger window was busted and there was a substantial amount of blood inside the car, but there was no sign of Elkins.
On Friday, Texas Equusearch joined the search, combing the 2-3 mile area around the abandoned car wash and on Sunday the group’s founder and director Tim Miller confirmed a body was found by volunteer searchers. This body has not been identified, but they seem pretty sure it’s Elkins.
Today, during a probable cause hearing, prosecutors learned Elkins’ boyfriend of a few weeks, 31-year-old James David Clarke, allegedly confessed to an ex-girlfriend and another woman that he shot Elkins in the head and placed her body in a duffel bag.…
DNA Confirms Body Found In Abandoned Home Belongs To Missing Girl
August 1, 2011 at 8:48 am by Morbid
DETROIT — I have no clue why I have not heard of this story until today (*I’m lying, I know exactly why*) but police have confirmed that the body found in a burning home are those of 5-year-old Mariah Trenice Smith who went missing a week ago.
Smith was reported missing by her mother midday Sunday after a party at their home. She was last seen by her cousin at around 3:30 a.m. sleeping on the dining room floor. “I was the one who laid her down on the dining room floor and I gave her a hug and a kiss and everything,” Felisha Smith said. Later that day, the girl was gone and a window was wide open.
Earlier that morning and a mile away, before and Amber Alert was issued for Smith, the body of a young girl was found after an arson fire in an abandoned home had been put out. Wayne County spokesman Dennis Niemiec reported the body was that of a young girl who had died of asphyxia whose skull had been crushed.…

PARAGOULD, AR – I normally do not post stories in the afternoon, but I came home to a Facebook message from someone asking if I would write up something about a 16-year-old boy who went missing this week. They knew me well enough to suck up a bit, ensuring I would at least read the entire message.
I checked out a few links they provided and felt I should help get the word out about Zach Ware, especially since the media may not pay much notice — seeing as he isn’t a white girl.
The last anyone has heard from the 16-year-old was on Monday after he went to football practice, to work and to a football scrimmage at Valley View High School. His family called police on Tuesday morning after he never returned home and repeated phone calls remained unanswered.
Zach’s cell phone was last used to access the Internet at midnight on Tuesday, police reporting a ping came back from the phone placing it in the Sharp County area.…

WEST STEWARTSTOWN, N.H. – I was going to post about the 11-year-old girl who vanished from her bedroom earlier this week, but held off because there just wasn’t much to report on aside from her being missing.
There still isn’t really, but now the FBI has gotten involved.
Celina Cass, 11, was last seen Monday night in her bedroom by her mother and stepfather (*Stepfather? Listens to the faint sound of torches and pitchforks being readied*). The following morning, she was gone and has not been heard from or seen since.
There was no indications that the girl ran away, and there was nothing pointing to a struggle or that anyone had forcibly removed her from the home. The first searches were conducted by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, state police with K-9 units and the United States Border Patrol because of how close the family lives to the Canadian border.
On Wednesday, crews searched the Connecticut River and used a helicopter to scan the ground from above but found no sign of the girl.…

July 25, 2011 at 3:00 pm by Morbid
Raleigh, NC – Police have arrested a man and his wife after a woman who went missing in North Carolina was found dismembered in a Texas creek.
Laura Ackerson was last scene on July 13 dropping her two young boy off at their father’s Raleigh apartment. She was to pick them up two days later but her ex, 32-year-old Grant Hayes, says she never showed up at the planned meeting spot. The following day a co-worker of Ackerson’s reported her missing when she did not show up for work.
Police would find her vehicle a a few days later, parked near where Hayes currently resides, at an apartment complex she, Hayes and their kids used to live a year earlier. She and Hayes have been involved in a year long custody battle regarding their two boys.
In June, a judge granted Hayes temporary custody of the two boys because Ackerson was unemployed at that time and living with Hayes’ parents. She would get the boys on the weekend while Hayes, a local musician who goes by the stage name Grant Haze, would get them during the week.…

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Sorry for the lack of stories today, but I had a bad sausage biscuit this morning that has sapped out any desire to post about some of these assholes. But I did get an email involving this interesting case out of Missouri involving a missing mother of triplets who was last seen shortly after finalizing her divorce.
On June 1, 39-year-old Jacque Sue Waller had just left a divorce hearing and stopped by her husband’s house to pick up her 5-year-old daughter. But her daughter was not there. James “Clay” Waller, a former police officer, told investigators that he and his wife got into an argument and that she had walked away mad. That is the last reported time anyone has ever seen or heard from her.
On the morning she was reported missing, police found Waller’s car with a flat tire, abandoned along Interstate 55 in Missouri. Her purse, keys and cellphone were not found inside the vehicle, and there has been no activity on her credit cards and phone since she went missing.…

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – You just can’t keep a good psycho down it seems. Travis Forbes, 33, is a suspect in the disappearance of 19-year-old Kenia Monge who went missing back in April. Now he is in jail after police say he sexually assaulted a woman before attempting to kill her.
Forbes had been in jail on unrelated vehicle theft charges but was released when those charges were dropped. Six days later police say Forbes physically assaulted a 30-year-old woman inside her apartment. The woman escaped by jumping from a second-story bedroom window after Forbes intentionally set the place on fire.
He was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder, sex assault, assault, arson and aggravated motor vehicle theft. Hopefully police can keep him behind bars where they wanted him, as they are pretty sure he has murdered Monge.
Monge disappeared April 1 after leaving a Denver nightclub, leaving behind her purse and cell phone. Forbes has admitted he gave Monge, who he claims was drunk, a ride to a Denver gas station where he says she left with another man.…

Brooklyn, NY – Police have a man in custody after the 9-year-old Brooklyn boy who went missing on Monday evening was found dead and dismembered.
Leibby Kleztky had been reported missing on Monday after he did not return home from nearby Boyan Day Camp. Surveillance video would show the boy talking to a man in a gold sedan.
Using this footage and reviewing credit-card purchases, police were lead to the home of a 35-year-old man and member of the Orthodox Jewish community. The New York Post is reporting the suspect’s name is Levi Aron.
At the home where Aron reportedly lives with his parents, they would find Kleztky’s severed feet in a freezer. They would find more of the boy in a dumpster in Greenwood Heights with help from the suspect. They had been wrapped in garbage bags and placed in a red suitcase.
“It was a very brutal murder,” Assemblyman Dov Hikind said. “We’re all very, very sad. This is the worst possible conclusion imaginable.” NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said Aron “panicked” and that’s why he suffocated the boy before chopping him up.…

RENTON, Wash. – Police have arrested a man and charged him with the murder of a teen who went missing nearly a year ago.
Kathy Chou, 19, left her home on April 18, 2010 and was never heard from again. Friends and family stated she had learning disabilities and was very naive. Police conducted searches and interviewed friends, but the case had gone cold with no leads as to her whereabouts. That is until June 23, a little over a year since Chou was last seen, when a man came to police and told them he was pretty sure he knew what had happened to the teen.
He said that on the night she vanished her ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old Ezekiel J. Watkins, came to his home with dirt and blood on his clothes. Watkins had been interviewed by police before, as he had dated Chou after meeting over the Internet, but he claimed they had broken up months ago. He also had an alibi in the form of a friend who told police on the night Chou went missing, Watkins was at his home.…
