Guangdong, China – A woman has been accused of dragging her screaming, 6-year-old step-daughter into the kitchen and slicing off her left ear with a knife. When the little girl tried to run away, the woman grabbed the girl, placed her hand on a cutting block and then chopped off four of her fingers on her right hand. The biological father of the girl took her to a nearby hospital and left her there with $1,200 for her treatment. Aside from the missing ear and fingers, hospital staff also found stab wounds near the girl’s genitals. No one knows what sparked the attack, but neighbors say that the couple are not poor and have two younger children, the victim from her father’s previous relationship. Neighbors describe the father as a nice man, but his wife as odd and snobbish. It is also being reported that the victim did not live with her father and his wife, but was simply visiting that day with her nanny. Missouri – First, James McNeely was kidnapped. Then his hands and feet were bound with duct tape. Then the 20 year old was tortured on a dirty mattress in the basement of a residential home in Laddonia. The details of his ordeal are gruesome – his attackers kicked him, beat him, terrorized him with weapons. They tied James to a chair and wrapped wire around his throat, and in the end, used a trash bag to suffocate the young man. When they were done torturing and killing him, they wrapped James’ body in a tarp and threw it on a refrigerated truck, where it was discovered by police on Dec 22. Who’s responsible for this terror? Eight people – EIGHT! – have been charged in connection to this case, the first being Chester Harvey Jr., who held his wife and children hostage in a standoff before finally being taken in by police. Bishopville, South Carolina – Police in Bishopville have charged a former teacher at Bishopville Primary School, Sarah McCutchen, with 16 counts of unlawful conduct with a child. Sacramento, CA - Acting on a child abuse tip, Shasta County deputies approached a home on Friday afternoon. They were told by the guy answering the door that there were no children in the home and refused to let them in. Luckily for one 7-year-old boy, the deputies didn’t take “no” for an answer. Long Island – Last Thursday, the guys from Rescue Ink: Unleashed got a call about a disturbing case of animal cruelty. The cast, a bunch of big, schmexy, tattooed, biker types who strive to save stolen and abused animals, headed out to the home of 43-year-old Sharon McDonough. Upon discovery of five dogs in the home, crammed into cages, malnourished and neglected, the crew put in a call to the SPCA. Further investigation revealed that the five dogs inside the home were just the tip of the iceberg. Sharon, PA – Trumbull County assistant prosecutor Sean O’Brien says, “It’s one of the worst abuse cases I’ve seen.” And he ain’t kidding. The boy had been beaten and tortured by his mother’s husband, Damion Wise, for nearly two years. Easton, Pennsylvania–Authorities are calling the allegations horrific. That, my friends, is an understatement. Terrell Scott, 23, is accused of torturing his girlfriend’s three daughters for more than a year. He abused them with lit cigarettes, cable wire, broomsticks, a claw hammer, and nail clippers. Police believe he began his attacks on the girls in September of 2007 and didn’t cease until October 2008.
