FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - More information has came out in regards to the man who shot his wife to death during a church sponsored couples counseling session at Calvary Lutheran Church in Federal Way. The man who pulled the trigger is 42-year-old Charles Parson. He was attending couples counseling with his estranged wife, 38-year-old Carol Parson. They had been married for twelve years and had three children together - ages 11, 9 and 5. The couple had been divorced since last year and Charles was having a hard time with it. Carol had moved on and was dating another man. She is the one who initiated the couple’s counseling in hopes of getting Charles to come to terms with things as well as for the sake of their kids. It is reported that during the session, Charles asked Carol if she was going to stop dating the other man, to which Carol answered no. Charles got up, walked to his coat and retrieved a handgun. He aimed the gun at Carol while instructing the counselor not to move.…

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – No names have been released yet, but reports are that a 42-year-old man shot his 38-year-old wife several times in the Calvary Lutheran Church. The couple were at the church for marriage counseling, but it has not been revealed if the shooting took place before, during or after the counseling. After shooting his wife, the man calmly called 911 and waited at the scene for police to arrive. Once in custody, he willingly told police everything about the shooting. The woman was transported to Harborview Medical Center where she later died. More info will be available soon, as it seems as if this was done in front of other people. “We’re unsure how many witnesses we have,” police spokesperson Ray Bunk said. “Right now, (we don’t know) how many were in the room or even in the area. We’re identifying and interviewing all those witnesses.” I can only imagine that from a professional standpoint, this has to be one of worst things that could happen to a marriage counselor. …

ATLANTA – Due back in court today is 45-year-old Arelisha Bridges, who is accused of shooting and killing her husband following an argument earlier this month. Yeah, spouse murderers are a dime a dozen, but some of the circumstances surrounding this case are just too strange, ironic, and/or funny for me to not share: (1) As the title suggests, Bridges had been married to Anthony Rankins (who, at 26, was young enough to be her son) for a whopping five days before she killed him. As the title also suggests, (2) this was the sixth in a chain of marriages that began in 1981 when she was 16, with subsequent failed ball-and-chain joinings occurring in September 1984, August 1988, April 1989, October 1990, and May 2009. (3) The argument and subsequent shooting occurred on a public street, in full view of others, with Bridges dressed in a nightgown and shower cap. (4) After the shooting, witnesses reported Bridges walking calmly away, gun in her hand, to her car, even as others around her ran past in “frightened uproar.” (5) Bridges is a registered lobbyist for the National Declaration for Domestic Violence Order, a group fighting domestic violence.…

I Want My Chicken, Dammit!

March 2, 2010 at 4:24 am by

Tulsa, OK – A quick question, if I may…have any of you ever heard of or been to an eating establishment called Chicken Hut? If so, how’s the food? It is pure heaven in a greasy bucket? I ask this because I’ve never heard of the place and am quite surprised at it’s obvious popularity. At about 3:00 Sunday morning, an estimated 100-150 people were at the eatery just hanging around or waiting for their orders to be filled. Out of those 100+ hungry people, only one person bothered to call 911 as a man lay bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds – the victim’s sister. Valentino ‘Tony’ Verner, 27, was gunned down by an unknown assailant as he stood in front of the Hut. When emergency personnel arrived on scene, they had to fight their way through the crowd to provide medical assistance to the dying man. None of the bystanders had even attempted to help Tony. As a matter of fact, people were actually shoving the EMT’s out of the way and stepping over Tony’s body to get to the take-out window.…

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Here’s a story I started on but before I could even finish writing it up, more info came out and the entire thing got even more bizarre. On Friday, firefighters responded to a small house fire and found the bodies of 24-year-old Rachel Thompson and her two sons, four-year-old Torian Thompson Carter, and three-year-old Jaden Thompson Carter. Thompson’s 6-week-old Maurice Visor was missing. Now what started as a triple homicide investigation has turned into a quadruple homicide investigation. But the fourth body was not that of Visor as he was found safely inside his car seat outside of a north side church. The body was of 19-year-old Brittany Robertson who was found shot to death. Police say she is not only a victim, but also played a role in the three murders. “These homicides are the result of a small group of interconnected people known to each other none of these events were random acts,” said Police Chief Ed Flynn.…

Julia Murray, 21, called 911 Tuesday morning and told the dispatcher matter-of-factly that she had just drowned her two kids and needed an ambulance. The 911 operator tried to Murray on the phone but after a short pause in the conversation, Murray informed the operator that she had just shot herself. When emergency crews arrived at the home of Murray’s parents where she and her children lived, they found her unconscious. She had a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest and a handgun nearby. In a back bedroom they discovered her two children, 2-year-old Creighton and 4-year-old Ansli, drenched and lying on a bed. Ansli was dead, but Creighton was still breathing. Murray died shortly after being transported to the hospital while Creighton was last listed in stable condition. Murray lived with her mother, who had custody of Murray’s children, and a sister. No motive has been given.…

William Kelly Jr. Is A Real Ballbuster

February 17, 2010 at 5:45 am by

Navarre, FL – While responding to a noise complaint early Monday morning, deputies heard what sounded like a large-caliber gunshot – just moments later, a screaming 18-year-old Amanda Kelly and her distraught and bleeding boyfriend, 29-year-old Randall Carter, approached them at a full run. Randall told officers that he had just been shot in the groin…specifically, his scrotum and inner thigh. When asked why Randall had been shot, Amanda said, “Because he hates him, dude! That’s it.” The ‘he’ that she was referring to was her father, 48-year-old William Kelly Jr. When officers confronted William, he admitted to shooting Randall. “I shot him in the nuts with bird-shot because he was beating my daughter,” William said. Recovered at the scene was a Taurus .45-caliber revolver (aka “The Judge”). William was booked on charges of aggravated battery causing bodily harm or disability, a second-degree felony. He was released the same day on $20,000 bond.…

One Less Idiot On Xbox Live After Online Threat

February 16, 2010 at 2:06 pm by

SAN ANTONIO – Look, if you are an adult and play any type of online video game, you have gotten used to the jackasses. It’s par for the course and if you cannot handle it, simply play with your two friends or just don’t play online games. For Xbox 360 owners, the term jackass defines the thousands of 13-year-olds telling you what they are going to do to your mother after you kill them in whatever game that involves firearms. Well one of these jackasses got his ass in a lot of trouble the other day while playing “Modern Warfare 2″ when he started telling anyone who would listen how he was planning to shoot up his school. Unfortunately for him, some dude from Canada was listening, and he took the threats seriously. Oh, and warning, the video after the jump starts automatically, so adjust your volume so you don’t piss your pants at work like I did.…

He Works In Mysterious Ways

February 16, 2010 at 2:42 am by

Merritt Island, FL – At about 8:00 Friday morning, Kathleen Aceto completely lost her shit. Acting on commands from above, Aceto allegedly entered a neighbor’s home and opened fire. Aceto, a professional shark angler, was mumbling something about being a messenger from God while she terrorized the family of four inside the home. The homeowner grabbed his own gun and started shooting back. From the 911 recording: Dispatch: “I need to know, is she on the property right now?” Resident: “Dad, is she on the property?” Another resident: “I don’t know where the fuck she is!” Dispatch: “She’s going all around the house?” Resident: “Yes. We heard shots. We don’t know where she is.” Resident: “We’re going to kill her. She’s going to die.” Due to extremely good luck or really bad aim, there were no injuries during the shoot-out. Aceto was still armed when she was arrested a short time later. When asked what the hell she was doing, she replied that God told her to do it. You know, He is always fucking with people like that!…

MANATEE COUNTY, FL. – I really wanted to put this guy up last week, but I was sick and didn’t give a shit. But now I feel better and figure I would get him posted so 8 months from now family members will come on and tell us to “we aint god and aint got no write two judge.” Last Thursday, 27-year-old James Swan was drinking and playing “World of Warcraft” in a room he shares with some younger siblings. He was getting loud and belligerent so his mother, 50-year-old Hazel Summerall, came in and told him to keep it down. Swan responded by grabbing his mother by the hair and throwing her on the bed. He did the same to a younger brother. When his mother ran to the phone to call 911, things really got messed up.…

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Charles Roy Southern, 17, and Connor Julian Pridgen, 16, both students of University Christian School, turned themselves in Friday night. After being interviewed by detectives, each was charged with one count of murder in connection to the death of fellow classmate, 17-year-old Makia Coney. This story started with the report of a body being found in a drainage ditch while a group of officers were looking for a missing student last seen Wednesday on the University Christian School campus. On Thursday, the family identified the body, found 3 miles from the school, as Coney’s.  No motive has been given, but the two boys admitted to picking up Coney and driving around for a bit before they both shot her in the head and dumped her body. There was no signs of a sexual assault. Read on for mugshots, and some information on how life is going for Pridgen at the juvenile detention center he is currently housed in.…

Alabama – Two stories involving teachers shooting their superiors in one week? On Friday, three people were shot and killed and three others were wounded by a gunman on the campus of the University of Alabama-Huntsville. The suspect, who is in custody, is neuroscientist 42-year-old Dr. Amy Bishop. Bishop joined UAH in 2003 and with her husband, Jim Anderson, created a portable cell-incubator called “InQ”. Bishop was currently involved in a cybernetics project called The Neuristor. Reports are that the shooting took place around 4 p.m. during a meeting regarding the biology department. The theory is that during this meeting Bishop was attending, Bishop learned she would be denied tenure – and after learning that fact, took out her gun and began shooting. Bishop was taken into custody and her husband, UAH geneticist and researcher, has been detained. As she was being taken to jail, Bishop told reporters “It didn’t happen. There’s no way …. they are still alive.” The mother of four has been charged with three counts of capital murder in the first degree and three counts of assault in the first degree. The names of the victims have not been released.…

Orlando – Alissa Blanton, 23, was walking with her husband in the AT&T call center parking lot where they both worked when 61-year-old Roger Troy, a man who had been stalking Alissa for over a year, shot and killed her before turning the gun on himself. Troy’s obsession with Alissa began back in 2008 when he met her at a Hooters where she worked as a waitress. After she left the restaurant he began emailing her and even followed her to Orlando where he showed up at her home and even to her new place of employment where he blocked Alissa in her car. All of these incidents were detailed in a 72-page petition for an order of protection she presented at a Feb 1st emergency hearing. But Brevard Circuit Judge Dean Moxley remained unconvinced and denied the request, setting a hearing for Feb. 16 so that he could get more information. . …

Robbery Prank Goes Terribly, Painfully Wrong

February 5, 2010 at 11:11 am by

Milwaukee, WI – My teen-aged kidlets have this really cute game they like to play with me – it’s called, “Let’s scare the bejusus outta Mom and take 10 years off her life!” And they’re good at it. I never know when one of the little shits scamps is going to jump out of the closet, cupboard, dryer, etc., and send me into fits of hysteria and tears. After reading this story though, they just might think twice. A 21-year-old man thought it would be funny to scare the crap out of his mother, so he donned a ski mask and waited for her to arrive home from shopping. He then confronted the 37-year-old woman behind their home and pretended to rob her. Mom pulled a .357 from the waistband of her pants and started shooting. Of the several rounds that were fired, two of them hit her son. One of them right to the groin. He’s been hospitalized, but there are no reports on his condition. A blue steel revolver with an obscured serial number was taken into evidence.…

NEWPORT NEWS - On Sunday, police officers arrived at a home after recieving a call reporting a domestic disturbance between a man and his wife. When a female opened the door, a male pit bull ran out of the house and attacked the lead officer. After being bitten in the hand and forearm, the officer used his service weapon to shoot the animal. This pissed off the dog’s owner, 46-year-old Willie James Sims, and just like his dog, he came out of the house and began assaulting the officer. Showing a bit more restraint than I would have, the officer decided not to use his gun on Sims’s face and opted for the pepper spray. Sims was arrested and charged with assault of a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct while intoxicated, drunk in public, obstruction of justice, assault and battery on a family member, and a summons for dangerous or vicious dog. The officer’s injuries were not life-threatening, and animal control was called to care for the dog.…

SALT LAKE CITY – Rod Hernandez was at home talking to his fiancee, 34-year-old Tetyana Nikitina, as she was leaving the Salt Lake Community Action Program Head Start where she worked as a teacher. The conversation ended abruptly when he heard popping noises and then silence. Thinking she had gotten into a wreck, he drove to the school. When he arrived at the scene, he learned that the woman he was to marry on Valentine’s Day had been shot to death. The shooter was Nikitina’s ex-mother-in-law, 70-year-old Mary Nance Hanson. Police state she had parked her car a mile away from the school and waited for Nikitina to leave. Hanson walked up and fired multiple shots into Nikitina’s car killing her. It’s being reported that she even after emptying the gun of its bullets, she reloaded and fired some more. Hanson then called 911 and was still on the scene when police arrived. No motive yet, as when asked why she did it Hanson stated “I don’t know, and that’s all I’m going to say.”…

The family intervened and broke the pair up, but shortly after they heard a gunshot. Jeremiah Hooper then ran out of the home holding his neck where Zachariah had shot him with his revolver. Jeremiah was taken to the hospital by his mother and Zachariah, but later died from the wound. “Why it even reached this point…accelerated to the point of pulling out a gun and shooting him, it’s unbelievable,” said Sheriff Treviño. John Caudle Didn’t Want To Do Chores

January 27, 2010 at 9:24 am by

Monte Vista, CO – Back in October, it was reported that 14-year-old John Caudle was the primary suspect in the slayings of his mother, 34-year-old Joanne Rinebarger, and step-father, 38-year-old Tracy Rinebarger. Because of his age, very little information was released to the public at the time. Court proceedings were sealed and a gag order was issued to all involved parties. It has since been determined that the kid will face murder charges in adult court, so the story can be told. Caudle told investigators that two days before the murders, he had taken two .22-caliber pistols from the home’s gun safe and hid them in his room. On October 26th, after arguing with his mother about household chores, he retrieved one of the guns and shot his mother dead. He then hid in a laundry room and waited for his step-dad to get home – Tracy was shot as he walked past Caudle’s hiding spot. Caudle dragged both bodies into the master bedroom and took $23 and the keys to the family vehicle out of Tracy’s pocket.…
