Neriza Fojas And Four Other Women Died Inside Burning Limo On San Mateo Hayward BridgeCalifornia – Just when I thought I’ve covered just about every horrible death imaginable, five women died inside a burning limo while out celebrating the upcoming wedding of one of the victim, 31-year-old Neriza Fojas.

While crossing the San Mateo-Hayward bridge Saturday night, the white stretch Lincoln caught on fire. The driver, 46-year-old Orville Brown, pulled over when the women got his attention, thinking the women were asking him to stop so they could smoke.

“She said, ‘No smoke – smoke smoke…pull over pull over pull over,’” Brown recalled. “I saw the smoke, pulled over, by the time I was getting out the car there was a lady coming over the partition.”

He said he helped three other women escape the fiery limo, but was unable to help the bride-to-be and four other women. They ended up trapped inside and were all killed in the fire.

Police would later say that the victims were burned beyond recognition and had to be identified by their dental records. County coroner Robert Foucrault told NBC that the victims were found lying on top of each other, with one dying while trying to climb through the partition that separates the passenger compartment from the driver’s.…

Woman Dies Three Months After Husband Set Her On FirePOLK COUNTY, FL – The family of Megan Kimbrough have reported that the 26-year-old has died three months after her husband doused her with gasoline and set her on fire.

Back in August, Megan’s husband, 32-year-old Joshua Kimbrough, doused her with gasoline in their home while allegedly high on heroin. After being set on fire, Megan ran from the home where neighbors put out the flames with blankets. As his wife was being transported to the hospital, Joshua went on a mini crime spree where he carjacked someone at gunpoint, burglarized a house, and then used a stolen credit card at a gas station.

While her husband was out being a douche, Megan was airlifted to a burn unit suffering from burns to over 80 percent of her body. Her father stated that 32 to 39 percent of Megan’s burns were third-degree burns. She was not expected to survive the night, but Megan wasn’t giving up that easily.

For three months, Megan underwent multiple medical procedures, including twelve skin grafts. She looked as if she was making progress until last week when she contracted an infection that her body just wasn’t able to fight off.…

Man Who Set Woman On Fire In Elevator Sentenced To 50 Years In PrisonNew York, NY – It’s been almost a year since Jerome Isaac sprayed Delores Gillespie with gasoline and then set her on fire as she stood in an elevator. Yesterday he pleaded guilty to her murder in a deal that will have him serving 50 years in prison.

For those of you who may have missed this heinous story, 47-year-old Jerome Isaac had lived with 71-year-old Delores Gillespie doing odd jobs, and was angry after she kicked him out without paying him the $2,200 he says she owed her for five months of housework. Friends of Gillespie say the woman kicked Isaac out after she found that he had been stealing from her.

In either case, Isaac decided to get his revenge in one of the most worst ways imaginable. Surveillance footage captures Gillespie as she is about to step out of an elevator on the fifth floor of her apartment building after buying groceries. That’s when Isaac barges in while wearing an exterminator’s outfit. He sprays Gillespie in the face and body with gasoline from a canister he is carrying, then lights her on fire.…

Mother Accused Of Pouring Boiling Water On Child Because Of CryingJACKSONVILLE, N.C. – I missed this story and to be honest, I doubt I would have posted it had I seen it when it was first being reported.

But since I suffer for you guys (some say just like Jesus), I will write another child abuse story today, a subject I like least of all. (*hears waaay too many tiny violins playing*)

A woman in North Carolina has been charged with felony child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury and mental emotional injury after she became so enraged over her 9-month-old daughter’s crying, that she poured boiling water on her.

Police say that 33-year-old Michelle Julia Woodhouse-Deboyes became angry with her daughter’s crying that she flipped the girl’s bouncy seat over with the baby still in it.

The resulting bruise to her daughter’s face did not her crying, so Woodhouse-Deboyes switched tactics. She went into the kitchen and filled a coffee mug with boiling water then poured the boiling water on top of her crying daughter. Still not getting the result she was looking for, Woodhouse-Deboyes flipped her daughter over and held her down in the hot water that had puddled on the floor.…

Woman Claiming She Was Victim of Racially Motivated Attack LiedWinnsboro, LA – Sharmeka Moffitt, the 20-year-old woman who claimed she had been set ablaze by three men in white hoodies, apparently fabricated the whole story, as new evidence suggests she actually set herself on fire.

On Sunday, October 21st, Moffitt called 911 to report what police believed, at the time, to be a racially motivated attack in which three men doused Moffitt with lighter fluid, set her on fire, and then scrawled “KKK”  and an ethnic slur on the side of her car in…ummmm…toothpaste?  At the time, she said she did not know whether the men were black or white.

Moffitt was able to extinguish the flames using a nearby spigot, but had already suffered serious burns on over half her body.  She was taken to LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport for treatment.  Several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, began investigating the incident as a hate crime.

Now, several days after the incident, police have released the fact that Moffitt’s fingerprints were found on both the lighter fluid bottle in question and the lighter used to ignite it, proving, more or less, that she self-immolated.  Answers are a bit scarce at the moment, as Moffitt remains in critical condition, unable to answer the many questions investigators have for her.…

Man Arrested After Setting Another Man On Fire At Gas StationLAS VEGAS, NV – A man has been charged with attempted murder after he set fire to a man who was harassing him at a Las Vegas gas station.

According to police, Theodore Bejarano was inside Cricle K store drinking on Oct 10. The clerk told him he was not allowed to loiter inside the store and asked him to leave. At around the same time, 61-year-old Patrick Newell had arrived at the store to get gas. After paying, he left the store only to encounter a drunken Bejarano leaning against his truck. Bejarano asked for a ride, but  Newell refused, telling him he was driving a business vehicle.

Bejarano allegedly didn’t like that answer and kept bugging Newell to the point that Newell threatened to cut Bejarano with a pocketknife if he didn’t leave him alone. But instead of cutting the man, Newell went back inside the store and told the clerk that he was being harassed at the pumps and to call police. When he returned to his truck, Bejarano continued harassing him.…

Woman Charged In The Murder Of Woman Found Burned On Side Of RoadZanesville, OH –  Last week we reported on the murder of 29-year-old Celeste Fronsman, the woman found on the side of a rural Ohio road severely burned with a rope tied around her neck. Drunk Man At Bar Bets Friends He Can Set Head On Fire, WinsAugusta, Ga – While I hate obnoxious drunks, I do love them when they are on fire because at least then they are as entertaining as they think they are. So I’d have loved to gave been at Allie Katz Bar Friday night where a drunk, 36-year-old William Bonner, talked his friends into pouring Bacardi 151 on his head and then set him on fire.

You can watch the video below and hopefully you will get as much laughter out of it as I did when the flames turn Bonner into Ghost Rider and can be seen stumbling into a table while his friends toss drinks into his face. At this point I would’ve helped toss some things in Bonner’s face as well, starting with the darts. You know, for the comedic value.

Bonner was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but released on Sunday. Police got involved because his friends called them saying that Bonner had gotten into a fight at the bar and his assailants had set the man on fire. Of course the surveillance footage shows the truth, and a metric ton of stupidity.…

Woman Commits Suicide By Setting Herself On Fire At Gas StationBURLINGTON, Vt. - A woman is dead after she purchased $5 worth of gas at a Vermont gas station, then used it to set herself on fire.

According to a clerk at the Champlain Farms Shell gas station, the woman came into the store and prepaid for the gas. She also placed her I.D. on the counter and said she didn’t need it any longer. When she went back out to the pumps where her gold Subaru Forester was sitting, the store employees watched as the woman removed the hose from the gas pump and began dousing herself with gasoline.

Probably because women do this all the time, the store manager immediately shut off the pump from inside the store. But the employees quickly realized this wasn’t another case of a woman not knowing how to put the doohickey into the whatchamacallit when the woman struck a match and set herself on fire.

The store manager and some customers ran out and tried to put the woman out with fire extinguishers, but the woman had already achieved her goal of self-immolation.…

Woman Accused Of Throwing Hot Grease On Her NeighborsCHARLOTTE, NC – Police have arrested 33-year-old Regina Terry after they say she threw a pan of hot grease on her neighbors this past Sunday, burning two adults and four children.

Neighbors say that Terry has had an ongoing dispute with her neighbors, the McLean family. The altercations never turned physical, and usually consisted of them yelling at each other. But this past Sunday, Terry skipped past simple assault and went straight to assault with a deadly weapon and malicious maiming.

After Terry and the McLeans got into another argument, the McLean family–two adult sisters and their children, ages 10, 8, 6, and 22 months–were on the phone with police when Terry threw hot grease from a pan inside the McLean’s apartment.

Everyone in the McLean family was burned in some fashion. Four of the victims were taken to Chapel Hill burn center. One of the adults and her 22-month-old son suffered injuries so bad that they had to be airlifted. Two others were treated at a local hospital while another refused treatment.

One of their neighbor described the children’s reactions.…

Video Captures Man Setting Woman On Fire At Florida Gas StationBOYNTON BEACH, FL - We have had a couple stories this week detailing someone setting someone else on fire–one in Alaska another in Ohio–and now we have another out of Florida. The difference with this one is that it was all caught on video.

A woman was meeting 54-year-old Roosevelt Mondesir at a gas station so that they could exchange their 4-year-old son. The two are not married, but do share custody of their son. But when Mondesir arrives in his white Jaguar, he does not have their son with him. He does have some gasoline, however, and proceeds to pour it on the woman and her vehicle as she tries to leave.

The gas station surveillance cameras captures this, as well as the 34-year-old woman’s futile attempts to get away from Mondesir and try to find help inside the convenience store. She doesn’t find any and the relentless Mondesir is able to set her on fire.
