Amy Locane-Bovenizer, Former Melrose Place Actress, Sentenced To Three Years For Killing Woman

SOMERVILLE, N.J. - Amy Locane-Bovenizer, a former actress on Melrose Place, has been sentenced to three years in prison after driving drunk and plowing her SUV into another car, killing a woman.
For those who don’t know who hell this lady is, she played a character on Melrose Place, one of the worst shows to come out of the ’90s aside from Home Improvement. I have no clue what she did after the show was finally cancelled, but in 2010 she made headlines after getting behind the wheel of an SUV with a blood alcohol level that was three times past the legal limit.
After rear-ending Maureen Ruckelshaus, Locane-Bovenizer refused to get out of her car and fled the scene. Ruckelshaus followed Locane-Bovenizer for four mile, watching as the 40-year-old took out a few mailboxes. When a car moved out from in front of Locane-Bovenizer, she accelerated to 50 mph and plowed into the passenger side of a car turning into a driveway.
The driver of that car, Fred Seeman, was seriously injured but survived. His wife, 60-year-old Helene Seeman, was his passenger and took the brunt of the impact.…

ALVIN, TX – Police have charged a man with murder, accusing him of shooting the drunk driver responsible for killing his two sons.
On Dec 7, 2012, David Barajas’ truck ran out of gas yards from his home. He and his two sons, 12-year-old David Barajas and 11-year-old Caleb Barajas, jumped out and began pushing the truck while Barajas’ wife and two daughters remained inside the vehicle.
At around this same time, 20-year-old Jose Banda was driving drunk down the narrow road and plowed into the rear of the pickup. Caleb and his brother would both die after becoming pinned between the two vehicles. Jose Banda also died, but not because of the crash. He died from a bullet wound to the head.
Several witnesses who were present at the scene of the accident told police that after the crash, David Barajas walked the short distance home. He returned to the scene shortly afterward and approach Jose Banda’s car. That’s when the witnesses reported hearing gunshots.
Police still have not recovered a weapon, but a handgun holster was found in Barajas’ home, along with ammunition that matched the kind that killed Banda. David Barajas was subsequently arrested for the murder of Jose Banda.…

Scottsdale, AZ – Jason London, the actor best known for his role as Randall “Pink” Floyd in DAZED AND CONFUSED, was arrested after getting his ass kicked by some bouncers at an Arizona club, and produced one of the most hilarious celebrity mugshots I have seen since Nick Nolte’s. The 40-year-old was with his wife at the Martini Ranch nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona when he reportedly sneezed on a bouncer. When the bouncer asked for an apology, London punched the man in the face.
This led to London being ejected from the club and getting his face rearranged in the process. When police arrived, London became even more belligerent and shoved one of the paramedics who had arrived to treat him.

Moscow, ID – An 18-year-old student at the University of Idaho froze to death under a bridge after he left a fraternity party and wandered five to seven miles in the snow.
Authorities say that Joseph Wiederrick attended a Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity party Saturday night and left on foot early Sunday morning. He called his roommate to inform him he was on his way to the dorm, but he never made it.
Police were called and a found him on Monday afternoon under the Paradise Creek Bridge, miles from where he had started walking. Temperatures that night had dropped to 24 degrees, and the poor kid froze to death after wandering around looking for his dorm.
Investigators were able to piece together some of what Wiederrick did after he left the party by following the trail he left, and it is apparent he was suffering from the effects of alcohol and hypothermia.
A little before 3 a.m., a homeowner found Wiederrick in her basement. “She asked him what he was doing there and he said he thought it was a fraternity house,” Moscow Police Chief David Duke said.…

EVERETT, WA – Police have arrested a Washington woman after they say she smothered her boyfriend to death with her breasts.
Last Friday night, 50-year-old Donna Lange and her 51-year-old boyfriend had some friends over to their mobile home to get their drink on. Over the course of the evening, Lange and her boyfriend began arguing.
Both Lange and her boyfriend were around 5 foot 7 inches tall, but Lange outweighed him by about 20-pounds. I have no pictures of Lange, so I’m not sure if the extra weight is from a pair of 10-pound titties, or just overall stature.
Regardless, witnesses in the mobile home said that during one of these arguments, Lange was seen throwing her boyfriend down on the ground and her boyfriend could be heard demanding that Lange get off of him. They later found Lange on top of her unresponsive boyfriend with her breasts covering his face.
After someone called 911, medics arrived and tried reviving Lange’s boyfriend, but he would be pronounced dead at the hospital. When police interviewed Lange, she told them she had no idea how her boyfriend died.…

PHILADELPHIA, MS.- Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell says Duane John, 34, has been charged with six felony counts of DUI manslaughter after a crash this weekend that killed an adult and his five children.
Authorities say John was drunk when the Dodge Durango he was driving went off the road, down an embankment, and into a rain-swollen creek shortly after midnight Saturday. Also in the SUV were five of John’s children along with three other adults. No one was wearing their seat belts.
Aside from John, only two other people survived the crash; Deanna Jim, who is the children’s mother, and Dale Chickaway. Killed were Dasyanna John, 9; Duane John, 8; Bobby John, 7; Quinton John, 4; Kekaimeas John, 18 months; and Chickaway’s wife, Dianne Lewis Chickaway, 37.
Waddel said that all of the deceased were still inside the vehicle at the time of their recovery, and that he believes they all drowned.
Duane John was charged after being released from the Neshoba County General Hospital where he’d been hospitalized for hypothermia and water inhalation.…

Cincinnati, OH – Here’s a story sure to wreck your Christmas Eve a bit. Four people were killed when a minivan carrying a family leaving a Christmas party went the wrong way on the highway and had crashed into another minivan carrying a family on their way to visit family for Christmas.
Early Sunday morning, 40-year-old Joshua Nkansah was driving a minivan down I-75 with his two young children after having left a Christmas party. For reasons unknown, Nkansah did a U-turn and started driving the wrong way on the highway, colliding head-on with another minivan.
The second minivan was carrying Scott and Michele Barhorst, a couple from Tennessee, on their way to visit grandparents for Christmas in St. Marys, Ohio, Along with them wwhere their four children, ages of 8, 11, 9 and 18.
Michele Barhorst, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene, along with Joshua Nkansah and his 7-year-old son, David. Scott Barhorst, 37, would die later at the hospital.

Christine Meyers, 23, got into a fight with her boyfriend Friday night after picking him up from a bar. When they got back to their home, her boyfriend got out of the car and, for some unknown reason, laid down in front of it.

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA – A woman in Pennsylvania was charged after she allegedly cut up her boyfriend after he tried leaving her apartment with the last beer.
Vanessa Robinson is behind bars on aggravated assault charges after police say she and her boyfriend, James Gallone, got into a fight last Thursday inside Robinson’s apartment.
Gallone made the mistake of grabbing the last Colt 45 from Robinson’s fridge as he was leaving her apartment. Even though he had paid for it, this move went over about as well as the time someone took Jaded‘s last piece of bacon.
Robinson told Gallone that she didn’t care if he left, but that he was doing so without the beer. The resulting argument escalated into a physical confrontation between the two. After some kicking and punching, the beer was poured onto the ground. That went over about as well as the time time someone took Jaded’s last piece of bacon and then fed it to their dog.

SOMERVILLE, N.J. - Amy Locane-Bovenizer, a former “Melrose Place” actress, has been found guilty of vehicular homicide after her drunk ass killed a woman by ramming her SUV into the side of another vehicle.
Back in June 2010, Locane-Bovenizer had tossed back some drinks at a cast party before tossing down a few more at a barbeque. She then chose to get behind the wheel of an SUV with a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit and wound up rear-ending Maureen Ruckelshaus.
Ruckelshaus confronted Locane-Bovenizer, who she says was obviously drunk, and asked her to get out of her vehicle she refused to turn off. Locane-Bovenizer responded to this request by fleeing the scene and taking out a few mailboxes in the process. Ruckelshaus gave followed behind Locane-Bovenizer for four miles at speeds that topped a whopping 35 mph.
But Locane-Bovenizer saw her chance to put some distance between herself and Ruckelshaus after the car in front of her moved out of the way. That’s when Locane-Bovenizer accelerated to 50 mph and ended up plowing into the passenger side of a car turning left into a driveway.…

LAS VEGAS, NV – A man has been charged with attempted murder after he set fire to a man who was harassing him at a Las Vegas gas station.
According to police, Theodore Bejarano was inside Cricle K store drinking on Oct 10. The clerk told him he was not allowed to loiter inside the store and asked him to leave. At around the same time, 61-year-old Patrick Newell had arrived at the store to get gas. After paying, he left the store only to encounter a drunken Bejarano leaning against his truck. Bejarano asked for a ride, but Newell refused, telling him he was driving a business vehicle.
Bejarano allegedly didn’t like that answer and kept bugging Newell to the point that Newell threatened to cut Bejarano with a pocketknife if he didn’t leave him alone. Epping, NH – A woman in New Hampshire was arrested four times in 26 hours for playing AC\DC and Guns ‘n Roses too loudly.
Epping police said they were at the home of 53-year-old Joyce Coffey, responding to a noise complaint, and could hear AC\DC’s “Highway to Hell” blaring from inside the home while sitting in their police car.
They issued Coffey a warning about the music but were called back to the house an hour later. They could hear Guns ‘n Roses playing from inside her home, so they arrested her. Five hours after being released from jail, police got another call regarding loud music coming from her home and Coffey was arrested a second time.
After being released, police say they were called back to her home about 1:10 a.m. Wednesday morning after receiving yet another report of loud music. For the third time, Coffey was arrested for wanting to rock out with her cock out.

Conway, SC – A man in South Carolina is a little peeved over the fact that the registered sex offender convicted of soliciting his 10-year-old daughter for sex is still allowed to live next door.
Kerry Marlowe was convicted of criminal solicitation of a minor and had to registered as a sex offender because of an incident that happened between him and his neighbor’s 10-year-old daughter last fall.
According to the girl’s father, Chris Smith, his daughter was playing with Marlowe’s cat by the chain link fence that separates their yards. Smith’s daughter says that Marlowe was standing on his side of the fence when he asked her about her bra size. She says Marlowe then said he wanted to rub lotion on her, exposed himself, and leaned over the fence to try and kiss her. After the girl went inside and told her father what happened, Smith called police.
Marlowe was arrested a few days later and charged with committing a lewd act on a minor. At his probation hearing, Marlowe was ordered to wear an ankle bracelet and not to go within a mile of the neighborhood.…

Indianapolis, IN – Police in Indiana say a teenager fell to his death while trying to climb from one balcony to another during an underage drinking party at an apartment complex near the IUPUI campus.
At around 3 a.m. Monday morning, police were called to The Avenue Apartments after receiving calls about a loud party going on inside one of the apartments. When they knocked on the door of the apartment, they were greeted by someone telling them someone inside had just fell from the fifth floor balcony.
Police went back down to the first floor where they found 18-year-old Xavier Somerville unconscious on the sidewalk. Turns out Somerville got scared when police arrived at the door and had tried escaping by swinging from the fifth floor balcony to a fourth floor balcony, but lost his grip and fell.

ORANGE COUNTY, FL – A Florida man has been accused of participating in the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl on a Carnival cruise ship.
Casey Dickerson, 31, was arrested on a federal sex charge after he and several teenage boys allegedly raped the girl in Dickerson’s cabin on the Carnival Sensation last weekend. According to the FBI, Dickerson was on the cruise with his wife where he and four other teenage boys got a 15-year-old so drunk that she was unable to stop the train they ran on her.
According to the complaint, the victim said that she had went to Dickerson’s cabin with her friend and four teen boys. After being given alcohol, Dickerson and the teens took turns sexually assaulting her while her friend was held inside a bathroom. She said that while she was being assaulted on the floor of the cabin while wearing only a bra, someone knocked on the door and one of the boys answered it. After the person who knocked at the door left, Dickerson and the teens continued their sexual attacks — even telling each other to “switch” into different positions.…

SPARTANBURG, SC – Police say a man got so upset over his son-in-laws’s “yo’ mamma” jokes that he cut the comedian with a knife and threatened to kill him.
Police were stopped by a bloody man who told them he had just been cut by his father-in-law, 72-year-old Marvin Tutt. He says that he, Tutt, and another man were riding together and were engaged in a bit of trash talking that eventually turned to “yo’ momma” jokes.
An extremely intoxicated Tutt became angry over the jokes about his mother and expressed his displeasure by putting a knife to his son-in-law’s throat and threatening to kill him. When the victim tried to get out of the car, Tutt cut him. The man says that after he got out of the car, Tutt chased after him, but returned back to the vehicle.
Police pulled over the vehicle and arrested Tutt, charging him with aggravated assault and battery. It must of been one hell of a joke because police say Tutt was still fuming over it in the back of the patrol car where he stated he “should have killed” his son-in-law and that he was going to murder him.…

Hamilton, Ohio – A woman in Ohio was arrested the other day after she was busted trying to break into jail.
On Sunday morning, a Hamilton jail corrections officer was leaving work when he noticed 36-year-old Tiffany Hurd lying near a fence at the rear of the jail. She was wearing a backpack and appeared to be intoxicated.
Deputies were called to the scene after she refused to leave the premises and attempted to climb the barbed wire fence that surrounded the compound. When deputies arrived, they also advised Hurd to leave the area, but again she refused and continued her attempt to scale the fence. ”I want to be arrested,” she stated.
So the deputies obliged her. Hurd was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Her bond has been set at $2,500.
“Her actions really caught me by surprise,” said Sheriff Jones. “I know the economy is bad right now, but I didn’t think it was so bad that someone would actually try to break IN to jail. I will probably never say that I’ve now ‘seen it all,’ but this one sure comes close.”
