Anchorage, AK – Ugh. I don’t even know where to start with this one. We have a couple of fucktards – Jonathan Miller and Stephen Dilley II, a 5-year-old boy left in their care, and a “redneck flamethrower.” Taking that into consideration, you just know this won’t end well. Last Friday, the boy’s mother left him in the care of Miller and Dilley for the weekend. Miller is the woman’s current boyfriend – Dilley is the woman’s ex-boyfriend and father to one of her five children – and though the woman has a restraining order against him, Dilley lives in a trailer on the property and helps her with her brood. According to the arrest affidavit, Miller told officers that he’s been trying to “toughen the boy up” and the best way to do that is to “scare the shit out of them when they don’t see it coming.” Last Friday evening, Dilley grabbed a can of starter fluid and an lighter and asked Miller, “You know what would be funny?” Miller must have been thinking along the same lines because he responded, “You know how much trouble I could get in for this?” Then he called for the child. When the little boy opened the door, Miller let him have it. 

Miller told investigators the fireball aimed at the child’s head only lasted about half a second – long enough for the shit-for-brain buffoons to realize the child’s head was on fire. The asshats put the flames out with their hands and tended to the child’s burns. Dilley told investigators he didn’t think the flame would reach that far. See, that’s your problem, Dilley, you didn’t think – that would require at least a couple of brain cells. Did they seek medical help? Of course not – they’re fucking retards. Well, mom returned home late Sunday night. After noticing that her child had been lit up and was in pain, certainly she would seek medical attention, right? Wrong. She did, however, seek medical attention for herself after overdosing on bi-polar meds that same night. The boy’s injuries were left untreated until he showed up for school Monday morning. The child, who suffered second-degree burns to the left side of his face, nose, eyelid, and ear, told investigators he had not been in trouble and described the incident as a “practical joke gone wrong.” Yeah, all 5-year-olds can grasp the whole concept of a joke gone wrong. The child was treated at the emergency room and released to relatives.

Miller, 29, and Dilley, 32, both denied having been drunk at the time of the incident, in fact, it was, according to them, a “very sober day.” The jackasses are each charged with two counts of third-degree assault and a count of reckless endangerment. Assholes…

MOUNT VERNON, New York - I have no idea how I missed this horrific story. But I did. Calls started coming into 911 stating that a naked woman was walking down the street screaming. Some witnesses thought that she had a doll with her. As it turns out, the doll was her 5-month-old son. In front of bystanders, she raised the baby over her head and slammed him into the sidewalk in front of St. Ursula’s Roman Catholic Church. Twice. One witnessed said that she  tossed the baby into the street like he was a football. When police arrived, a Good Samaritan had already wrestled the infant away and handed him to Mount Vernon Police Commissioner, David Chong. He was rushed to Mount Vernon Hospital, and later transferred to the Westchester Medical Center trauma unit where he is still in critical condition. Brown was charged with first-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. She is currently in Valhalla’s county jail and on a suicide watch.

CENTRAL ISLIP, New York – We didn’t report on this story when it happened in May, although it was being covered in our forums. But her hearing was Tuesday so it is making the news again. To refresh your memory, social worker Margery Tannenbaum, 40, got in legal trouble after she got revenge on a 9-year-old girl who got into an argument with her 4th-grade daughter. She posted a sexually suggestive ad on Craigslist, including the girl’s real name and phone number, urging older men to call the little girl. Which of course, they did. According to court documents, the mother of the 9-year-old girl received a call from a man who, upon her answering, asked, “Hey baby, is this [girl's first name]?” When the woman told the man she was her mother, the caller responded: “Oh, hot lady lives with foxy momma!”   Said the girl’s mother: “I told him the hot lady you are referring to is 9-years-old.” The caller then hung up, she said. Tannenbaum is now facing charges of aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child over the stupid stunt, plus the the Suffolk County district attorney is asking the state to review Tannenbaum’s social work license. Tannenbaum says she is not responsible. Her lawyer Tad Scharfenberg told reporters, “She’s a good mother, she’s never been in any trouble before, she takes good care of her kids. I’m defending her to the fullest, she maintains her innocence.” What in the hell is up with you women? What is this, like the 23rd story we have featured here where some mother got revenge on one of their daughter’s rivals?

TITUSVILLE, Florida. - Here’s a really fucked up one to start your Friday. Christina Mcintyre was arrested Thursday for the attempted murder of her 11-month-old son. What is heinous about this story is how she went about doing it. On Oct 6th, her 2-year-old son had stacked blankets and a bean bag chair on his little brother and then climbed on top and started jumping up and down. Police are not clear on whether Christina encouraged the older boy to do this, but regardless – she did not stop him. In fact, she waited until the little boy stopped breathing for a full minute before calling 911. She informed them that she would let them decide if the infant lived or died while lying to them about giving the boy CPR. Paramedics eventually arrived and were able to revive the boy. It gets crazier.

Christina told police that her motive behind all of this was the fact that she just cannot care for both boys, and figured if the little one was dead, she could go back to work. “The defendant explained that she wanted to go back to work, but could not afford day care for both kids,” according to the police report. “She stated that if the infant died, she could afford to put the older child in day care so she could work.”

During the 911 call, Christina told them that the boy had apnea, and that was the cause of his breathing problems. In fact, medical records show that the boy had actually been to four separate doctor visits regarding sleep apnea. All of it based on a lie that Christina had manufactured. These visits included numerous invasive tests, which is why prosecutors tacked on aggravated child abuse charges.

Christina Mcintyre was charged with attempted domestic felony murder, aggravated child abuse, child abuse and child neglect causing great bodily harm and was held without bail at the Brevard County Jail. Both boys have been removed from Christina, and placed with DFS. In one of the source links below, there is video of her being led to a police car. A reporter asks her a couple questions, only answering that she loved her boys very much.

Oh yeah, Christina admitted that she took the older sibling to his room and spanked him for smothering his little brother.

Memphis, Tennessee – Witnessing neighbors state that when the fire broke out in the home of Melanie Dunn on Monday afternoon, they heard screams coming from the house. Those screams belonged to 2-year-old Catareon Dunn and 3-year-old Ladereon Dunn. A rescue attempt was made by gaining entrance from the back door but the flames kept them at bay. When firefighters arrived on scene and pulled the children from the inferno, onlookers described the children as being limp and looking like “rag dolls”. But Melanie was not at home as she and the boys’ aunt, Marilyn Wilson, had left them alone that  afternoon to go shopping.

The mother and aunt received a call stating there was a fire at the residence approximately an hour after they had left the two children alone. Aunt Marilyn Wilson, while speaking of the condition of Melanie Dunn,  ”She was alright. She went down there, seen them in the ambulance. She didn’t get in. Guess she went to Le Bonheur“. (children’s hospital) “Some kind of way they set something on fire. I don’t know how it happened, because we weren’t there.” Noooo shit there fucking idiot. And the dead boy would probably be alive today had you been there but who knows when that luck would have run out.

At first, I thought my initial reaction of judging these two fucks was a bit harsh but then stumbling upon this gem of a quote led me to think I wasn’t harsh enough. When asked if she had any regrets about leaving the children alone in the home, the aunt stated  “No, I really don’t because if they had been there by themselves, I don’t know if the boys set the house on fire or somebody threw something in there to set it on fire. I really need to get in there to see if my purse burned up. I had my Food Stamp Card and everything in there.” This begs the question: why in the hell can’t we shoot someone on the spot and be hailed as someone who did society a favor?

For now, Melanie Dunn has escaped any charges but the case is being presented to the Grand Jury awaiting further investigation. One child dead, one child in critical condition, and her 3rd child was fortunate to escape the trauma for yet another day due to being in school. The 5-year-old has been taken to a relatives home and the 2-year-old is now a ward of the state. Charges have not been filed against the mother or the aunt, but the Memphis police are still investigating.

These two women had absolutely no problem leaving a 2 and a 3-year-old alone. After all, Melanie didn’t leave them at home alone “all the time”. Losing one child in a fire while the 2nd hangs in the balance is just a minor annoyance. The big news here is that the fucking food stamps may have burned up. Yeah, right. Probably right next to your stash…

Cartwright, Oklahoma – Not a lot of details on this but enough to raise some questions. 11-year-old Dakota Cheyenne Hughes was spending the weekend at her Aunt’s house who lives next door. Reports state that she was up late watching movies with 34-year-old Jason Lee Belew — an acquaintance of one of Dakota’s relatives and a man she had known for about a month. At around 4 a.m. the Aunt woke up and found Dakota dead in a back bedroom and Jason was nowhere to be found. Authorities arrested Belew on a criminal mischief warrant on Sunday then officially charged with 1st degree murder.

The medical examiner reported that there were signs of trauma, but the cause of death has not been released. But that’s the last of my questions at this point. I, like others, would like to know what the fuck this girl was doing watching movies with a 34-year-old man and why other family members thought this was ok? I’m not saying that all 34-year-old men are waiting to murder an 11-year-old whenever the opportunity presents itself, but that is just odd. If I had an 11-year-old daughter, I am pretty sure I would not allow her to watch movies late at night alone with another 11-year-old boy – much less a grown man.

“She had a friend that came over and watched movies with her,” her father Bill Hughes said. Hughes said he didn’t know Belew personally. I try not to be biased, as little kids die all the time, regardless of the economic class they are brought up in. But I will admit that as soon as I saw the images of the home, my question of “what kind of family would allow a little girl to stay up and watch movies with a man in his thirties” was answered with “Oh, yeah. OK.” Not trying to blame anyone here aside from the person responsible for actually murdering Dakota, but unless Jason was a really, really close friend of the family anyone else feel like some very poor judgment contributed to this tragedy as well?

Guess we will find out as more details are made available.

Update – more information coming out. We got some anonymous information that I will not put up at the moment, but it didn’t paint anyone around Dakota in a good light. Like I stated in the comments, it reminded me of Rowan Ford. Not in the murder, even though both are heinous, but also in their environments. It is being reported that Dakota went with her aunt to pick up Jason, and when they got back Jason and Dakota’s aunt began drinking beer and malt liqour.

The aunt got dizzy and went to bed, leaving Dakota alone with Belew. When she woke up from passing out, she found the naked body of Dakota on the floor of another bedroom and Belew was gone. We have read reports of Dakota being sexually assaulted, strangled and beaten with a bat, but none of that is official – however, it was reported that when Belew was picked up he had blood on his clothing. I’ll keep updating as more information comes out, and enjoy looking at the cocksucker’s mugshot.

Learning that the aunt left Dakota alone with a drunk man that she had only known for a month is really, really starting to grate on my nerves. To imagine what her last moments were like while her aunt snored away in a drunken stupor mere feet away from where she was being murdered. Stories like this makes me wish I was a Christian so I could also drink the Kool-Aid and be comforted by the fact that Dakota was in a better place and that a God had a reason for letting a drunken piece of shit rape and murder a defenseless 11-year-old.

PENSACOLA, Florida – Christian Woods, 21, called cops to tell them her 18-month-old daughter was missing. The police followed all the leads she gave them, but were unable to find Myleahya. Investigators went to Woods’ home and found a deplorable conditions; the home had no electricity or running water and was infested with roaches. They also found Jaterius, 2, with a full diaper, bruised and severely malnourished. His sister, 18-month-old Mykayla, was found under a bed. She was also malnourished. As for her missing twin sister Myleahya – well she was found as well. Stuffed in the garbage can.

Woods fessed up at that point, explaining she left for Mobile on Saturday, leaving the three kids alone with nothing but Jello to eat. When she returned on Monday, she found Myleahya dead. That’s when she stuck her in the garbage can and called police with the false report. Woods was arrested and charged two counts of aggravated child abuse, and one count of manslaughter. She’s being held at Escambia County Jail under no bond. Since I do not believe in a Hell, stories like this are tough because I do not feel this woman will ever really answer for her crimes the way I feel she should.

Carson City, Nevada – Authorities in Carson City were alerted to a case of possible child abuse by the VA Hospital in Reno on Saturday -  personnel there suggested that police get in contact with one Robert Williams. Robert had been in the hospital the day before with a couple of young boys who “looked pretty beat up.” When officers made contact with Robert, they discovered two boys being kept locked inside a small bedroom. “Inside the bedroom was a bunk bed where two small boys were lying,” the officer wrote. “The boys, age 5 and 3, were lying on the top bunk bed sharing a blanket. Located on the floor were two toddler potty chairs which were full of urine. The windows to the bedroom were boarded up from the inside.” The 5-year-old was reluctant to come out from underneath the blanket, and the 3-year-old wouldn’t wake up. The older boy was allegedly sportin’ a couple of black eyes. The younger had “a large abrasion – covering the majority of his face,” similar to road rash. What happened to the lads, you ask? Their parents.

The officer noticed a few other things that just seemed wrong. First, there was not a single toy to be found in the trailer. Second, the refrigerator door was secured with a cord, making it impossible for the boys to open. Third, there was a small, well-groomed and apparently well cared for, dog wandering around inside the trailer. Robert, 47, was arrested right then and there. Officers later made contact with the children’s mother, Linda Williams, at her place of employment. (Would you believe she’s employed as a caregiver? Ha!)  She allegedly told officers that her husband always locks the children in their room while she’s at work. But, hey, she lets ‘em out when she gets home. When asked about the injury to her younger child’s face, Linda, 35, stated that she had taken a washcloth to the boy’s face on Thursday to remove white-out from his skin. The child, though, told doctors that his mother had scrubbed his face with, of all things, a Brillo pad. Nice. I won’t even use that shit on my bathtub because of the damage it causes. Bitch. Authorities learned that neither child has had any medical care for at least three years. It was Linda’s turn to be arrested.

Officers returned to the trailer on Wednesday in an effort to collect evidence against the Williams’. When they entered, they discovered the place had been cleaned up a bit and the boards had been removed from the windows. Neighbors told officers that the couple’s relatives had been in and were seen carrying bags of garbage out. Meh. No matter, photos of the inside of the trailer were taken at the time of arrest. The door, along with the sliding bolt lock, was taken off the hinges and tagged as evidence. So much for the relatives getting the asshats off the hook. Robert Williams is being held on suspicion of of felony child abuse with substantial bodily harm, false imprisonment, and two counts of gross misdemeanor child neglect, abuse and endangerment. Linda Williams was booked on suspicion of felony child abuse with substantial bodily harm, principal to false imprisonment, and two counts of gross misdemeanor child neglect, abuse and endangerment. Bail has been set at $100,000. Both boys have been taken into custody by DCFS.

ALBERTVILLE, Alabama - Drivers on U.S. Highway 431 saw something unusual with a fellow motorist on Wednesday morning. They saw a minivan being driven by 37-year-old Jackie Denise Knott, and on the roof of the vehicle was a cardboard box. Ok, so that’s noticeable, but not really worth anything that would be on the front page of this site, right? Right. It’s what was inside the box that had witnesses phoning police. Sitting inside the cardboard box was Knott’s 13-year-old daughter. Police quickly pulled over Knott and her explanation for her daughter sitting on the roof of her minivan were quite amazing. “The box was too large to get in the van, so more or less, she needed a paperweight,” said Albertville Police Officer Jamie Smith. Knott was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, her daughter was turned over to relatives.

Look, I’m all for not going too overboard with child safety. I mean I grew up in the ’70s and ’80s. We rode in the back of pickup trucks to play baseball, we rode our bikes with no protective gear whatsoever, my parents cars didn’t even have seatbelts, McDonalds had ashtrays on every table, we played Jarts at night…but come on, this was just fucking dumb.

VACAVILLE, Calif. – While still being called an accidental shooting, an 8-year-old boy picked up a firearm, pointed it at his little sister and shot her in the head, killing her. Vacaville police continue to investigate the incident, trying to determine if anyone should be charged with a crime.  “It ’s a tragic case of a sibling who picked up a firearm, thinking it was a toy, pointed it as his sister and discharged one round from the firearm, striking her in the head,” said Vacaville Police Sgt. Charlie Spruill. Officers removed four rifles and two handguns from the house but would not state if any of them were locked in the gun safe that was in the house, as required by California law. Both parents were home at the time of the shooting.

So if this was an accident, which the reports say it is, should the parents be charged with any crime(s) if it turns out the guns were within reach of the kids? Or should the result of that fact be enough? Personally, I feel for the parents – but if the guns were not locked up and in the vicinity of these two kids..well, I can see no other recourse but to charge them with neglect or endangerment charges. Some may see that as callous, and I can only imagine what the parents are going through right now, but still.

Besides the 17-year-old girl who actually utters the phrase “like, blood on her face” there is something else worth noting. Watch the video and at the beginning, as the news anchor is talking from the scene, you will see a little boy come from the left-hand side walking to the right just behind the woman. He walks out of camera view at a steady gait, but never emerges from behind the woman. He fucking vanishes! That neighborhood is haunted.

CHICAGO, Illinois – A dog with its eye ripped out, a dog with a leg twisted backward and a dog with its lower extremities nearly ripped off its body. That’s just a taste of what police found during a raid on a Chicago home daycare. Seems as if it wasn’t just children the owner’s were caring for. In a garage attached to the back of the house, dog-fighting equipment was located. In fact, when police arrived on Tuesday, they found “a very aggressive” pit bull in the garage, with blood on the floor and along the sides of a car. “Also in the garage were syringes, medication, bite sticks and harnesses used in dog fights,” the sheriff’s office said in a release. “The chest of the dog found in that garage was shredded from a recent fight and its penis was bitten almost completely off.” Some video after the jump, as well as a link to the full article which should piss you off. Newark, NJ – Many of the crack-heads, tweakers, and other druggies we have featured here on the Dreamin’ Demon have one thing in common – they hide their stash is some rather interesting places. Shaheed Wright, though, is slightly different. Knowing that if you stick coke up your crack, eventually, you gotta dig that shit out, right? So, when Shaheed felt the heat was coming down on him, he stuck several baggies into his 4-year-old son’s jacket pocket, telling the child it was candy. However, like many of the crack-heads, tweakers, and other druggies we have featured here, Shaheed is kinda stupid. How one just forgets about several baggies of coke is beyond me, but Shaheed did. Unfortunately, his son remembered they were in there.

Friday morning, while the child was attending day care, he pulled out the baggies of nose candy and shared them four of his young friends. Thinking it was candy, one little girl, also 4-years-old, ate it. A teacher noticed the child had something odd in her mouth and got the child to spit it out. Teach must’a freaked when she discovered the kid was munchin’ on a little baggie filled with white powder. Four kiddos, including Shaheed’s son, were rushed to the emergency room. Only one of the children actually swallowed the coke – she was treated and released thankfully with no ill effects. A search of the boy’s pockets revealed more baggies. Nice.

Shaheed Wright, 25, is accused of endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and other charges, including employing a juvenile in a narcotics scheme. Bond has been set at $400,000. Does it make you feel any better to know that Shaheed is deeply sorry for his actions? Nah. I didn’t think so. Idiot.

Dayton, OH – Before I left the hospital with each and every one of my spawn, I was schooled and lectured on the how-to’s of taking care of the shiny new little human. I was given pamphlets, books, advice, etc. To this day, my spawn are all teens now, I remember being told about bath time. “Mom,” the nurse said. “When bathing the precious darling, always remember to test the water first. You can test the temp by dipping your elbow in the bath water – if it’s too hot for your elbow, it’s too hot for baby.” Easy-peasy. Right? Guess not. Donnishia Peterson’s tard mug is being featured on the Dreamin’ Demon today because she either wasn’t smart enough to test the water or she just didn’t give a shit. Either way, her 10-month-old daughter will forever be scarred after being placed in scalding hot bath water.

According to the police report, the child was so severely scalded that “her skin was dangling from her toes.” It was bad enough that it caused a couple of officers to get pretty emotional. Peterson initially told police that the baby was injured “when a fan fell down on her.” Ummm. What? Fan accident = skin sliding off? Not only does she have a funny hair-do, but she’s stupid too. Doctors called bullshit on the falling fan story – the injuries to the child’s feet and legs were submersion burns. It is believed the water may has been as hot as 140 degrees. Nice.

Donnishia Peterson, 20-years-old and 7-8 months pregnant with her second child, is facing one count of third-degree child endangerment. The child is in stable condition and is expected to recover, mostly, from the second- and third-degree burns.

Kensington, Pennsylvania – Forgetting where you parked you car in the middle of the night – embarrassing. Leaving your young step-child alone in the car in the middle of the night so you can score drugs- parental fail. Leaving your young step-child in the car in the middle of the night and forgetting where you parked because you are so high you can barely recall your own name let alone where the hell you parked your damn car – ultra tard fail. Having to admit to police officers that you can’t find your child or your car because you are fucked up – jail time. Just ask 31-year-old Dino Vicente. After all, this is his story of fail. 

At around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, with step-son in tow, Dino set out to score the drug of his choice. He set off on his own, leaving the child behind. Hours later, after he was good and shit-faced, Dino found himself in quite a pickle when he couldn’t find the vehicle containing his step-son. He called the child’s mother at about 4:30 a.m. and explained his predicament. There is no word on what mom had to say about the whole thing or whether she even bothered to report the incident to the police, but the next phone call Dino made was to the cops. Finally, after searching for two hours, the police were able to locate the car, and found the child was still there and physically safe. Unless the source article has a typo or something, that little kid was sitting in a car, all alone, in the dark, in the middle of the ghetto, for over 8 hours. Nice parenting, Dino.

Dino Vicente is now being charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, and narcotics violations. Fucking idiot…

Oh yes, we have a few high achieving thinkers in this story. Our cast of characters: Shawn German, male, 19, horny dumb fuck…his mother Tracy A. Lisi, obviously female, 38, fertile dumb fuck…Mom #2 who’s nameless because her daughter shares the same, another fertile waste of space…and her nameless 13 year-old daughter, victim in many ways.

At least possessing a few functioning brain cells between them, the maternal units of these two offspring realized there was a law or something that may get Shawn in trouble if the 13 year-old should get knocked up during their intense romance. So Tracy and Mom#2 put their two cells together and allegedly devised a sure fire way to keep horny dumb-ass out of jail. A permission slip. See? Done. All is good. That’s some big city thinking right there.  Why the hell didn’t others think of that shit before?

I’m really not making this up. Knowing the age difference of these two, the mothers really did think they could beat any legal issues by drawing up a mutual agreement. They thought it would give legal protection in the case of pregnancy. They failed. They should have realized lawmakers don’t think highly of those “regular” people who come up with excellent ideas nor loopholes for existing laws. That’s their job so it should come as no shock the authorities usurped their parental permission. There always has to be a buzz kill.

Thank goodness the authorities found out when they did. Hopefully they can place the 13 year-old in another loving home, one where the collective brain activity fills more than a thimble and lights more than a match for their next blunt. And as for the rest of the cast? The two mothers have been charged with child endangerment. Shawn German was charged with second-degree rape, sodomy, and child endangerment.

Get the lawmakers together. If these two mothers aren’t a perfect example on making laws against stupidity, I’m not sure who would be.
