Arlington, Washington - On Monday Keira Earhart,38, pulled into his driveway to witness someone running from his house. He went inside to find his wife’s jewelry missing and called 911. Police arrived but after a search, were unable to find the burglar. A second 911 call was made a few hours later, Earhart telling police that the burglar was back in the area and that he had ran into a field near his house. Police arrived a second time, finding Earhart in the field, but once again they were not able to find the burglar. On Wednesday morning a neighbor called police saying he had found the body of a man in a creek near Monday’s burglary. The body was of a 25-year-old who had been shot to death. After a little investigating, police learn neighbors heard shots on Monday, before the second 911 call was placed. One reported Earhart told them he had taken “warning shots” at the burglar. Earhart was booked into jail facing second-degree murder charges. The dead man did have the stolen property in his possession.  Not sure if the Castle Doctrine applies in Washington, but even if it did I am pretty sure it doesn’t cover shooting a fleeing burglar in a field near your house three hours after the crime was committed.

Ok, just watched the video . If I were a lawyer, I’d have this guy doing probation on reckless homicide charges or some shit. How in the hell is a jury going to convict a guy known in the community for volunteer work and working with foster children for an act he may not have done on purpose? Sure, it was a dumbass thing to do as “warning shots” do not usually find themselves in the back of a running man. But still.

SORRENTO, Florida - After having lawn-mowing equipment stolen before, Shane Biel installed an alarm on the locked trailer he uses to house machinery for his lawncare business. But around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning, the alarm went off from someone breaking in for another go. The homeowner went outside, armed with a firearm and confronted 23-year-old Brett Lee Canada who had used a pair of bolt-cutters on the lock Biel had installed. Biel says Canada lunged at him so fearing for his life, he opened fire, killing him. Police say Canada has a history of this type of crime. No charges are expected to be filed against the homeowner. Detectives believe the man’s story and under the Castle Doctrine, a Florida resident can defend themselves and their family in their home with deadly force. You ever been in an argument and have someone come in to help, but turns out they are an idiot? Yeah, read the comments made by Biel’s neighbors. It includes this gem: “Hey, the guy entered. That’s what we move to America for. We protect our stuff“

Fort Worth, TX – People will never cease to amaze me. I know I’ve said it before, and I’m gonna say it again – just when I think I’ve seen it all, heard it all, read it all – along comes another story that makes me say, “What. The. Hell.” Last Monday, a 77-year-old woman was roused from her slumber by the sound of her doorbell ringing at about 1:30 a.m. When she got to the door, the person on the other side forced his way in by kicking it in. Once inside, the man grabbed the woman by the arm, forced her into a chair, and proceeded to jack off in front of her. Then the fucker demanded that the woman get in the kitchen and make him a sammich. Oh no he didn’t!

Oh, yes he did. The woman did as she was told, whipped him up a sandwich and asked him to leave. He did. But not before stealing her cell phone. Later that same morning, the dude applied the five-finger-discount to a bag of chips at Wal-Mart. For some strange reason, before leaving the store with his ill-gotten bag ‘o chips, the guy turned himself into the store manager for stealing the chips.

While being interviewed about the chips, police found the man was carrying the elderly woman’s cell phone. When asked about the alleged sex crime he supposedly committed earlier that morning, 39-year-old Mitchel Stewart confessed. The weird fucker is now being held on charges of theft, for the cell phone and chips, and burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit sexual assault. Police also have reason to believe that Stewart may have committed a similar crime in August.

Carroll, IA – I’d like to give props to Matthew McNelly and Joey Miller for their resourcefulness and ability to think out of the box. I’d like to, but, I can’t. I will, however, give them props for making me laugh so hard I almost tinkled. It’s not every day we get to post a story here at the Dreamin’ Demon that exhibits such a high level of laughable fucktardary. Last Friday evening, police got a call about an attempted break-in. The caller described the suspects as two males with painted faces, both were wearing black hoodies, and it looked like both were armed. The caller reported that the two had just driven off in a large white car. Responding officers spotted a vehicle matching the description of the alleged suspect’s car just a couple of blocks away from the apartment and pulled it over. Just wait till you get a load of their awesome disguises!

OMFG. Permanent marker. Really? Was that the best you guys could do? It’s almost Halloween for fuck sake, every damn store in the country is just overflowing with masks, costumes, and make-up and you guys Sharpie the shit outta your face? Not only that, but you did a really shitty job of it, too! My grandson colors better than that! These two rank right up there with palm-frond guy and the thong bandits when it comes to dumb disguises. Luckily, neither of the idiots were carrying a weapon.

Matthew McNelly, 23, was charged with second-degree attempted burglary and DUI. Joey Miller is looking at a charge of second-degree attempted burglary as well. Bond was set at $7,500 cash – both posted bond on Monday and were released.

Stuart, FL – Grace Calabrese and her husband thought they had a really big raccoon in the attic of their condo – they could hear him up there, scuttling and scurrying around. Opening a closet door to gain access to the attic, Grace discovered they didn’t have a critter at all – they had a creepy, tattooed, loser guy crawling around in there. She had but a glimpse of the interloper as she opened the door – a chair attached to a cord was being lowered to the floor from the attic door in the ceiling. At the other end of the cord, a tattooed arm. The arm retreated back into the ceiling once it’s owner realized that Grace was armed with a knife.

After gaining access to the condo’s attic, officers noticed that someone had punched through the walls that separate each unit. The path of destruction led to a unit two doors down – a unit occupied by 31-year-old Jacob Trofnoff and his mom. Mr. Trofnoff, when apprehended, was wearing blood-stained pink jammies. “Those, I guess, were his mother’s,” Grace Calabrese said of the creepy dude’s attire. Damn. It’s bad enough to be busted as a creepy attic dweller, but to be wearing your mommy’s jammies? Ha! Trofnoff has numerous cuts, scrapes, and bruises to his body where he had been raked by roofing nails.

From his mother’s condo, police recovered items stolen from other condos, including a safe and various prescription medications. It’s not clear how many residences were burglarized as many of the occupants are seasonal. Jacob Trofnoff was arrested on burglary charges and is being held on $15,000 bond. Loser.

Burlington, Vermont How many of you dreamt of flying when you were younger? Even better, how many of you actually tried to fly? I think the fantasy was always fueled by cartoons (in my day) and stuntmen with my children. Hollywood always makes things look so easy and always manage to trick the mind. Unless you’ve seen the making of a movie, you never see the landing platforms below. You just see some idiot jumping from the top of a building, landing smoothly, and walking away as though it were as natural as breathing in and out. It’s not, I can tell you that for sure. Even with a belly full of booze, jumping out of a high window is never really a cool idea – I tried it in college. But the alcohol and the fit of laughter kind of made our legs a bit unstable so it was nothing for them to revolt mid air and say “fuck you” as we were plummeting to the ground. But what happens when you’re all tense and you “need” to get away from say…the police? Ask John Hawley. His attempt at flying or fleeing didn’t pan out so well when the police foiled his alleged robbery attempt.

Police were called to investigate a torn out window screen in an apartment complex. When they arrived on scene, gauging by the pictures, it’s was pretty easy to determine the screen had seen better days. Whether it was a big deal or not, the police decided to take a look around the apartment building – particularly the 4th story – just to make sure everything was kosher. But upon arriving on the floor, they noticed one kicked in door…and beyond that door…John Hawley.

Hawley, the evil villain who thought his superpower was flying, probably weighted answering some tough questions from the men in blue to testing his abilities, chose his awesomeness and jumped from the fucking window. Looking at the window, that’s quite a damn distance to get his wings a flapping. It’s possible, right? It’s not like trying to fly from jumping out of a 1st story window where you don’t have time to get warmed up.

Authorities say that once Johnny “CannotFlyForShit” Hawley went *thud* onto the ground, he didn’t get very far with the two broken legs he incurred. Awww. He broke his wings. That’s too bad. Hopefully he’ll get some special pampering in the Chittenden County Correctional Facility while he’s sitting on a $50,000 bail.

MONT VERNON, New Hampshire – Residents of the small, hilly town of Mont Vernon are in a state of shock after four teens entered a home to rob it, and attacked a 41-year-old mother and her 11-year-old daughter. Using a machete and a knife, Kimberly Cates was attacked while she lay in her bed and killed by multiple sharp injuries to the head, torso, left arm, and left leg. Her daughter survived the attack although she suffered severe stabbing injuries and spent hours in surgery. The attack was a completely random one, Cate’s home chosen simply because it was isolated. “They picked the house at random because it was in an isolated area,” prosecutor N. William Delker said today during the teens’ arraignments in Milford District Court. “Before they entered the home, all four defendants were aware that the intent was to kill the occupants.”

Quinn Glover, Christopher Gribble, Steven Spader, William Marks

At around 4 a.m. Sunday, Steven Spader, 17; Christopher Gribble, 19; William Marks, 18; and Quinn Glover, 17 have all been arrested for their part in the crimes. Spader and Gribble were charged with first degree murder, attempted murder, and conspiracy to commit first degree murder. Marks and Glover were charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and armed robbery – although prosecutors claim that Glover and Marks were both armed with a deadly weapon, and Glover was fully aware that the occupants of the home would be killed.

Cate’s husband was away on business but flew back to be with his daughter in the hospital. She is expected to survive, but she will obviously have some major issues because of this. What a pity that these idiots could not have broken into a tweaker couple’s house or something. By all reports, Kimberly was an awesome lady. John Quinlan, a Mont Vernon selectman, and friend of the Cates family for five years described 42-year-old mother and nurse Kimberly Cates as an unusually friendly, happy woman devoted to her daughter.

“She was very much the extrovert,” Quinlan said. “The mother and daughter were inseparable. They were almost best friends as well. That’s what I think makes this worse because you can’t imagine anyone having a bad thought about her or a gripe with her.”

Some information on the teens have come to light as friends all report the same thing. Four kids who all fell into a downward spiral over recent years. Spader was a longtime Boy Scout who in recent months grew increasingly distant and depressed. He has a lengthy criminal record including threatening teens with a tire iron after ramming their car, charges of possessing stolen stereo equipment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and marijuana possession charges. Most of these within recent months.

Gribble was a home-schooled Mormon who was planning to become a church missionary. Like a lot of kids raised in that environment (not all, people) he ended up rebelling X10 becoming a dark and brooding figure itching to lash out and become very fond of knives. It is reported that Marks is insecure and angst-ridden teen, and took a turn for the worse after meeting Spader. The same goes for Glover, a musician who performed in coffee shops, sang in the chorus, and starred in a school production of Cabaret.

While New Hampshire does have a death penalty, these boys are not eligible for it. According to the New Hampshire attorney general’s office, the crime does not fit within the state’s definition of a capital murder. The death penalty is only on the table when a law enforcement or judicial officer is killed in the line of duty, in the case of murder-for-hire, if the accused is currently serving a life sentence or when the murder occurs in connection with a kidnapping, drug crime or sexual assault.

Whatever. I am sure that this case will continue to get more heinous as some of these teens turn on each other (my bet is on Marks) and the details on exactly what transpired in that home is revealed. To be able to attack a defenseless woman in her home while she slept in her bed is one thing, but to be able to do the same to an 11-year-old girl? Seriously, fuck ‘em. Fuck their childhoods.

Caldwell, Idaho – When paramedics arrived back to Canyon County Paramedic Building from a bogus 911 call about a car accident, they were shocked to see 35-year-old Melissa Farris pinned under the garage door and unconscious. She later died of asphyxiation at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. No one knows exactly why Melissa, who once worked at the building as a paramedic from October 2001 to December 2008, ended up under the garage door. But it has been revealed that the 911 call the team had responded to had been placed by Melissa herself in a successful attempt to lure her former employees out of the building. “It means for us that she was wanting to get into that ambulance bay when nobody was there. I think that is pretty clear,” Caldwell Police Chief Chris Allgood told the Idaho Press-Tribune. “It does look like she was trying to get people out of the building before she went in.“

But investigators say was near the  Canyon County Paramedic Building at the time she made this call. The plan to get the two employees she knew out of the building so that she could then get in the building worked pretty good. Sucks about the timing, though. Or maybe it wasn’t a timing issue. Maybe she was not  aware that the safety sensors on the door are higher than a home garage door. Either way, I can only imagine there had to come a time when Melissa was fully aware that the gig was up and that her plan, whatever it was,  just went to total shit.

No word on why she was no longer employed as a paramedic, and no one is reporting on what her possible motive for entering the building could be. Any guesses? Sure, robbery is the first thing that comes to mind – but of what?  We have some EMT people here – if this wasn’t just some sort of personal thing, is there anything worth taking out of one of these places if the crew had left with the ambulance?

Orlando, FL – Seems Michael Sesic has a problem keeping his skeevy paws to himself – busted back in 2000  for raping a 4-year-old girl – Michael is once again in hot water for attempting to get naughty with a 14-year-old girl. This time, though, there was some instant stabby justice. Early Wednesday morning, Michael broke into a home where a former girlfriend of his used to babysit. Investigators believe he entered through a screen door and then picked the lock inside and found the teens room – whether he knew the layout of the home or just lucked out is unknown. The sleeping girl was rudely awakened after the drunken asshole crept into her bed and attempted to get her shorts off.

The girl said she placed a pillow between herself and the perv and high-tailed it outta the room. She woke her mom, telling her there was a strange drunk guy in her room trying to get her shorts off. Mom’s boyfriend went in search of a knife and confronted the intruder, who was now alone in the girl’s room with his pants at his ankles. Mom’s boyfriend tussled with the perv a bit and tried to hold him there until the police arrived. Michael, ballsy little fuck that he is, tried to run and received a stabbin’ for his efforts. Unfortunately, the wound to the upper torso wasn’t life threatening, so the little shit continues to breathe in and out.

Michael Sesic, 23, has quite the history. He was arrested in 2000 after the 4-year-old girl told her mother that Michael, 13 at the time, pulled down her underwear and raped her behind a house. He was charged with rape and lewd and lascivious act on a child, but because he was a juvenile at the time, it’s unclear as to whether he was actually convicted. At the time, deputies noted on the arrest report that Michael had “a prior history of sexual offenses”. Yeah – sounds like this one was just born bad. He was arrested in 2007 for aggravated assault and petty theft, and again in 2008 on charges of attempted burglary. Now he’s facing charges of burglary to an occupied dwelling and attempted sexual assault. Bond was denied. Creepy little fucker…

Roseville, MI – Kimberly Ross and her 13-year-old daughter returned home just before 11:00 p.m. Monday evening to hear an odd ‘clunking sound’ coming from their washing machine. I can only imagine their horror when they opened up the door to see their new little kitten, Ruby, lifelessly bouncing around in the spin cycle. Some kitty killing, sticky fingered criminal had ransacked their home – making off with a laptop, video game system, and some cold hard cash. Oh, and did I mention the pilferer actually removed a load of laundry from the machine in order to make room for the 7-month-old 6-pound kitty? Nice.

Ty-Shawn Bost and Ruby

The Michigan Humane Society offered up a $2,000 reward, and CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to Ruby’s killer or killers. Authorities made a break in the case on Wednesday with the arrest of 19-year-old Ty-Shawn Bost. Though they haven’t specified what led them to arrest Ty-Shawn, they had enough evidence to serve a warrant and make an arrest. During questioning, Ty-Shawn admitted to his involvement in the kitten’s death, stating that the animal was tossed in the wash because “it was bugging him.” Gimme a break you fucking punk. What the hell could a 6-pound kitten possibly do to deserve that kind of treatment? Purr at ya? I don’t even like cats and this story just pisses me off. Asshole. Authorities say that Ty-Shawn has absolutely no connection to Ruby’s human family and believe that it was more than likely a crime of opportunity. They don’t believe the asshat acted alone, but have not named any other suspects as of yet.

The asshole is now sitting behind bars charged with one count of second-degree home invasion, a 15-year felony, and one count of killing or torturing an animal, a 4-year felony. Miami, Florida – A Miami home was host to a prowler on Thursday morning, but this particular person picked the wrong house. This home had been targeted at least four times before in the last two years, one of those times involved an armed robber. So when this person scaled a 6-ft fence to get on to the property, he came face-to-face with Carlos Kennedy and a struggle commenced. Carlos’ son heard the commotion and came out to help. That’s when the duo beat the intruder to death with a golf club. Florida’s castle law does allow residents to protect themselves or their property with lethal force if necessary. At this point, neither the father or son have been charged with a crime.

Merced, California There’s something pseudo inspiring about holding fundraisers. The time and energy it takes to coordinate such an effort, raising money for a worthy cause. With medical expenses on the rise, so are the number of these money making events. Although the generosity of others is moving – the people who just shell out the cold hard cash expecting nothing in return is phenomenal. I kind of like when a team of people get together, willing to do a little hard work in exchange for donations. It’s a win-win situation. So when Sara Kellum and friends decided to hold a car wash fundraiser for her boyfriend, well it’s hard to blame her when a easier opportunity arose and she decided to rob this guy instead of working for the money.

I guess I never realized how powerful the suggestion of a blow job really is. The mere idea makes rational people do some pretty stupid things as evidenced by the plethora of stories that appear on the front page here. And not only people doing stupid things, but the mention of fellatio seems to make several men blind.

As stated above, Sara Kellum and friends were having a benefit car wash for her boyfriend who was stabbed. Then up pulls an interested customer. Only he isn’t quite interested in having his car washed. Now when the sheriff’s department received the report of robbery, they came to the conclusion the victim’s story didn’t really make sense. He said he was driving along when another vehicle pulled up with two Latino men and three women got out and robbed him.

In all actuality, Sara and Crystal Baeza got into his car, promising a little blow job party action in exchange for something. Beer maybe? That was their first stop. The liquor store. Then the victim drove until his tire blew. The two lovely, attractive, sexy ladies called one of their other car washing lasses to come rescue them. Damsels in distress. Only…they needed a getaway vehicle after they took a baseball bat and crow bar to him while stealing his wallet and bank statements.

When the police investigated, they arrived at Crystal’s house with an arrest and search warrant finding bank statements and receipts belonging to the victim. Crystal Baeza (24) was booked for robbery and two outstanding felony warrants and is being held in lieu of a $300,000 bail. Sara Kellum (29) was booked on suspicion of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime and is being held in lieu of a $80,000 bail. Crystal’s sister, Erica Aguilar (25) was booked on suspicion of using stolen credit cards and is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bail. And as for our victim, the police state his initial stretching of the truth behind the events that led to his robbery were because he was terribly embarrassed. No shit. Looking at Sara and Crystal’s lovely mugs, I’d be embarrassed too.

Cape Girardeau, Missouri is a town of a little over 37,000 stretched along the banks of the muddy Mississippi River. One would think, with the town’s dynamics:  for 100 women there are 86.9 males, men really wouldn’t have to fight for females! I mean seriously…unless there is an abundance of ugly ones out there. And what is with the 86.9 figure? I’ve never quite understood how they arrive at that, until now. I suppose, when someone looses a body part, that’s taken into account? And if that’s so, the ratio should now reflect something like 100 : 86.8  after some poor dude lost his ear lobe due to a little jealousy!

Police were dispatched a little after midnight to a call of a possible stabbing at Hackberry Apartments and observed Christopher Beal (23) chasing his male victim around some cars in the parking lot. I presume the game ended when they arrived – either because Beal didn’t want them to join in the fun or perhaps one of them wasn’t having a good time and was looking for a amicable way to quit playing. And upon questioning, the officers found out the latter was true.

Beal allegedly arrived at the apartment of his victim, followed him inside, and found what he expected, the object of his desires. He allegedly displayed a butcher knife but the quick reacting couple worked as a team and managed to push him out of the door. Anybody who doesn’t frequent the Dreamin’ Demon would think that would be that. But no! Christopher really wasn’t one to give up so easily and began knocking loudly on the window. The victim (who’s name hasn’t been released) went outside, like a dumb-ass, and got into a physical altercation which resulted in both of them falling to the ground and Beal sucking on his male victim’s ear. Okay, not really sucking, more like nibbling. Well, not really nibbling, biting. Hard. Enough to leave an ear lobe on the ground.

Christopher A. Beal was charged with felony assault and burglary. I’m not sure where the burglary charge came in, maybe he tried to steal the lobe? Steal the girl’s love? The report certainly didn’t specify. But we do know the lobe was found but doctors were unable to reattach it. And if my predictions are correct, Cape Girardeau male ratio will decrease by a fraction.

Long Branch, NJ – Way back in the old days, when I was just an itty bitty Jaded, I had my very own boogeyman. My boogeyman stood 7-8 feet tall, had greasy green hair, a ginormous mouth filled with pointy teeth and an over-sized tongue, breath that smelled like compost, long yellow fingernails, and glowing yellow eyes. I named him Bob. When Bob wasn’t hanging out watching me from my closet, he laid under my bed – waiting for my kid-sized bladder to wake me in the middle of the night so he could nibble on my tiny toes the instant they hit the floor. It took me quite some time, and a few sleepless bladder-filled nights, to realize that Bob the Boogeyman was just a figment of my overactive imagination. As an adult, I now know the boogeyman is for real. Today’s boogeymen may not look terrifying and larger than life, the fact that they look like normal human beings is what makes them so scary. Take Luis Rodriguez for instance. He looks normal enough – notice the lack of greasy green hair and glowing yellow eyes. He may not be into nibblin’ toes, but he is into piddlin’ kiddos.

A little over a week ago, in the early morning hours, the slimy bastard slithered his way into a young girl’s bedroom window. The child’s alert father heard a strange noise coming from her bedroom at about 4:00 a.m. and investigated. When he opened the bedroom door, he saw Luis laying in the bed next to his 12-year-old daughter, with his hand over her mouth, silencing her. Needless to say, dad got a bit peeved and went after Luis. While dad was wresting with the perv, the kiddo was on the phone with the cops. Dad ended up with a bloody nose and Luis ended up with a set of cuffs and a ride to the pokey. According to the criminal complaint, Luis touched the girl inappropriately and threatened to kill her if she screamed. Thankfully, dad put a stop to the pervy shenanigans before they could escalate.

Seems Luis was a busy man that morning. Later that same day, a woman reported to officers that at about 2:oo that morning, she awoke to find Luis in her bedroom committing a lewd act. When she asked him what the hell he was doing, he replied, “I love you.” The woman told officers that Luis was her former neighbor and that they had never been in any sort of relationship. When she escorted Luis out of her home, she discovered that he had entered through her kitchen window. Luis Rodriguez, 40, is now facing charges of aggravated assault, burglary, and aggravated sex assault on a victim younger than 13. Bail has been set at $521,000. Had that vile boogeyman appeared in my daughter’s room, he’d still be in the hospital having his junk surgically removed from his eye sockets.

Salem, OR – To know that one of your neighbors has secretly been pawing around in your frillies is unsettling. To know that one of your creepy neighbors has actually been wearing your frillies is nauseating. To actually witness one of your creepy neighbors standing in your garage while wearing your frillies, that is puke inducing. Please meet Randall Giesbers. Handsome lookin’ fella, ain’t he? Randall loves the ladies frillies – they make him feel all schmexy and stuff. He was more or less busted in the act Monday evening. Not only busted breaking into someone’s home, but he was also found to be wearing the victims girly underthings. Gross. That, however, was just the tip of the skeevy iceberg.

The woman had long suspected that someone had been entering her home and removing her underwear from her laundry in the garage. Monday night, she and her boyfriend discovered the pervy burglar hanging out in their garage, clad in nothing but a couple of camisoles and ladies panties. The boyfriend, probably skeeved out to no end, tackled the dirty perv and detained him until police arrived. The lady of the house identified the clothing Randall was wearing as hers. Upon inspection of his home, cops found as many as seven full garbage bags containing ladies underwear, shoes, and other personal items. The victim in this particular case identified two of those garbage bags as belonging to her. Damn. Those frillies and stuff aren’t exactly cheap -  to have to replace a couple garbage bag’s worth must have gotten a bit costly. I hope her boyfriend kneed him in the ball sack a few times just for shits and giggles.

Police also discovered illegal fireworks in Randall’s home – so, the 47-year-old now faces 10 counts of burglary, 10 counts of criminal trespass, and 42 counts of being in possession of illegal fireworks. While being booked into jail, it was discovered that Randall was into the layered look – underneath the frillies he was wearing – even more frillies.
