LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Here’s an example of why, no matter how much they paid me, I could never be a public school teacher. Video released yesterday shows the assistant principal at an Indiana high school being attacked by a student.
According to reports, a group of kids were goofing off in a hallways of Lafayette Jefferson High School when the school’s assistant principal was hit in the head by a flying bag of Cheetos.
When the assistant principal tried to get the boy responsible to come with him to the office, the teen resisted. When the assistant principal put his hand on the boy’s elbow, the teen flipped and grabbed the man by the throat before they both toppled to the ground.
The video begins shortly after the pair had fallen to the ground with the teen refusing to let go of the older man. When another teacher steps in to pull the student off the assistant principal, he has one hell of a time doing so.
Although nobody was seriously injured in the melee, aside from the teacher seen pulling the student off getting a cut on the nose, the student involved may be facing some serious consequences.…Continue Reading
Rucker’s girlfriend told police the cat was lethargic and unresponsive when she returned home from work Sunday afternoon. Also, in what I would have to assume was an argument over the state of the cat’s health, police say Rucker cornered the girlfriend in the bathroom and yelled at her and repeatedly poked her in the face for about 10 or 15 minutes.
When questioned about the cat, Rucker reportedly laughed as he told the arresting officer he placed a pillow over the critter’s face and punched it. He was trying to kill it, he said, because the damn thing caused him to fail a test.
Rucker admitted to cornering his girlfriend in the bathroom, telling police he wasn’t going to let her out until she listened to what he had to say. He also admitted to poking the woman in the face, but said that because he wasn’t actually beating her, he didn’t think it was a crime.…Continue Reading
CAMDENTON, MO – Police have charged a woman with first degree assault and armed criminal action after she slit her baby’s throat. This came months after she told a minister she was possessed by demons and was afraid she was going to hurt her daughter.
According to the probable cause statement, Tyler Tebrock called police to report that his mother, 39-year-old Bradie Simpson, and his 9-month-old sister were missing. He was concerned because he had found blood and a bloody knife in his mother’s bedroom.
Police searched the area and would find Simpson holding her blood-soaked baby in some woods nearby a few hours later. The infant was unresponsive, suffering from a neck wound and Simpson would not say a word to police.
They were both rushed to the hospital where the baby underwent emergency surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. Doctors say that had it not been for the cold weather and the quick responses of all involved, the little girl would have probably died.
So far no motive has been given, but police did find a plastic baggie and two spoons in her room, one of which tested positive for heroin.…Continue Reading
BETHANY, Okla. – Police say a Southern Nazarene University student was stabbed while feeding the homeless this past Saturday.
Zachary Smith, 21, and another student from the university bought a homeless man a pizza and were ministering to him before Smith was attacked. Reports say Smith placed the pizza on the ground near the man right before the man hit Smith in the head and stabbed him several times in the chest.
The students were able to drive to a doughnut shop and call 911. Smith was taken to the hospital, treated for his wounds and then released. His attacker, described as a white male in his 40s, has not been located.
SNU spokeswoman Sarah Roberts said the students were acting on their own and within the school’s motto of ”Character, Culture, Christ Almighty This Asshole Is Trying To F*cking Kill Me”
“We are deeply concerned for the students that were involved in this traumatic experience and are most grateful that the injuries sustained were not more serious. The students involved were acting compassionately, as many of our students do on a daily basis, serving the community and meeting human needs as they encounter them,” she said in a statement.…Continue Reading
Helena, MT - Sherwin Shayegan, 28, admitted in court to jumping on two soccer players at a state high school tournament held in Helena in October and demanding piggyback rides.
“I made a mistake,” Shayegan told Helena Municipal Court Judge Bob Wood. “I was just trying to be funny and get a piggyback ride.”
Innocent fun? You decide…
Deputy Helena City Attorney Luke Berger pointed out at the hearing that Shayegan has already been, in fact, permanently banned from any high school sporting event in the state of Montana by the Montana High School Association. Add to this that Shayegan himself told police at the time of his arrest that he is also banned from school sporting events in the states of Washington and Oregon.
The piggyback attacks are not limited to sporting events, though. In September 2009, Shayegan was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault after reportedly telling a high-school athlete that he wanted to interview him for a term paper. Police said that, after the student noticed that Shayegan was behaving strangely and attempted to leave, Shayegan also jumped on that student’s back and demanded a piggy back ride.…Continue Reading
Erik Cain, 30, apparently got all kinds of slashy with his brother Wednesday evening after learning said brownie had been cut in half. Angered at the sight of the mutilated confection, Cain reportedly armed himself with three steak knives and went to work on his sibling, slashing the man on his forearm, wrist and shoulder.
The slashee, Gene Cain, told police he feared his brother was going to kill him, so he threw a television set at him in retaliation.
Cain was later arrested on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct. Interestingly enough, police say Cain was out on bail on charges he had slashed his girlfriend last month.
Since I can’t seem to find any information on the victim’s condition, I have to assume the wounds were somewhat superficial. If anything, the man learned a very important lesson – never lay a finger on an unstable slasher’s chocolate.…Continue Reading
Radnor, PA — A teacher at Presbyterian Children’s Village, a school that caters to children victims of violence, neglect and other serious conditions, was arrested last week after another school employee witnessed him sockin’ a female student in the face.
According to police, on January 23, 41-year-old Richard Little requested help from an on-duty supervisor at the center for help with a student who was throwing chalk at him. When the supervisor entered the classroom, he saw chalk on the floor and told Little to leave the room.
The supervisor told police Little then grabbed the girl, dragged her into the hallway and began punching her in the face, causing her to bleed. Other staff members intervened and Little was escorted out of the building.
Both Little and the student were transported to the hospital for treatment. The extent of the girl’s injuries are unknown, but police say Little’s hands and fingers had blood and teeth marks indicative of punching someone in face.
Little posted $100,000 bail after being arraigned on charges that included aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment.…Continue Reading
LANCASTER, SC – A man in South Carolina has been accused of dangling a 5-year-old boy over an aggressive, chained, pit bull after he got angry with the boy for getting dirt on his vehicle.
Police say that 22-year-old Michael Chavis Junior became angry with some neighborhood children who supposedly cursed at him and got dirt on the vehicle he had parked near the victim’s grandparent’s house. In response, Chavis grabbed a 5-year-old boy and held him over a chained pit bull.
The pit bull belonged to the boy’s grandparents and he’d often played with the dog, but in this particular case the dog became aggressive, biting at the boy and nipping his sweater. The dog is normally calm, but Capt. Scott Grant said the Chavis’ actions got the dog riled up.
“The stimulus given to that animal would even cause a more calm type dog to react,” said Capt. Scott Grant.
When police arrested Chavis on assault charges, they found he had another assault and battery charge already pending. He seems quite the guy, having been arrested 23 times for crimes including traffic violations, disorderly conduct, threatening the life of a public official, instigating a riot, resisting arrest, drug charges, discharging a firearm in the city, assault and battery with intent to kill and multiple assault and battery charges.…Continue Reading
St. Croix County, WI - Two sisters in Wisconsin have been charged after a man accused them of sexually assaulting him with pliers and forcing him to drink their urine. Does this sound odd to you? If not, it means that you are ideally suited to sort this one out.
Court documents say that an 18-year-old male was at a Wisconsin residence with Valerie M. Bartkey, 24, and Amanda L. Johnson, 17. Whatever fun they were having reportedly ended when the sisters – who had reportedly imbibed some weed – began punching and kicking him, and then – gasp – putting one of the man’s shoes in the toilet and soaking the other in a sink.
According to court records, the man said the sister’s funfest continued when they later brought him a cup of liquid claiming that was lemonade and ‘forced’ him to drink it. It reportedly turned out to be a cup of the sisters’ urine.
Police say that the man went on to say that the sisters then ‘forced him to undress,’ with the intent of Bartkey having sex with him.…Continue Reading
Greensboro, NC — Kevin Kennedy Gilchrest, 48, was apprehended in connection with the dumping of a nude woman’s body along a city street last Sunday. Police say that Gilchrest did not realize at the time that the woman was not dead.
The magistrate’s report describes the unidentified woman resisting Gilchrest’s attack Sunday. The arrest warrant said the attacker placed one hand on the woman’s throat while pushing her against a wall. The assailant then pushed her to the ground. The strangulation reportedly continued while the victim was raped.
The court records go on to say that – after the rape – the attacker severly beat her. He then reportedly assessed her lifelessness by raising and letting go of her arm. Court documents say that she allowed her arm to ‘flop down’ in a fashion indicating that she had died during the strangulation and beating. Gilchrest also reportedly held his finger under her nose to detect breathing – during which the victim was reported to have held her breath.
Court documents say that the attacker then placed the woman in his car and dumped her nude body on the side a city street early Sunday.…Continue Reading
Albuquerque, NM – U.S. Marshals tracked Moses Sparks, 26, to a trailer park near Mullins, South Carolina on Thursday. Sparks was wanted on charges of criminal sexual penetration, kidnapping and aggravated assault of his then girlfriend after allegedly breaking into her New Mexico home in September and beating and raping her.
Sparks reportedly tried to run last Thursday night as the arrest team approached. The team – made up of Marion County drug agents, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies and deputy US Marshals – apprehended him. Authorities entering the trailer reportedly found an active drug manufacturing operation – as well as the woman whom Sparks had allegedly raped in New Mexico.
Sparks – who had been on probation for kidnapping and aggravated battery at the time of the alleged rape – was given an additional charge of manufacturing a controlled substance. His girlfriend was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and harboring a fugitive. An additional charge of being a complete idiot is presumably still pending.Continue Reading
Federal Way, WA — A 33-year-old certified nursing assistant is facing charges of second-degree assault of a child after police say they found an infant in her care covered in a white powder, burnt, bleeding and gasping for air in her home on January 10.
According to authorities, Mabinty Williams was babysitting the 4-week-old infant as a favor to a family friend, and in the four hours that she had possession of the child, had called her husband to complain about the kid no less than 16 times. Williams reportedly sounded a little more desperate and “off” with each call, prompting the man to return home.
When the husband arrived at the apartment, he said Williams insisted that he take the child back to it’s parents. Like, now. The man told police he told his wife he had to return his company vehicle, but would return shortly and take the baby. By the time he got back, though, the police were on scene.
Seems the couple’s neighbors called police right after Williams appeared at their door claiming there was someone in her house.…Continue Reading
Duluth, GA - Donald Ray Ayro, 31, was clearly not pleased with the ruckus being caused by two 49ers fans after the 49ers had scored against the Saints. The three, who were at a Georgia Applebee’s, ‘exchanged words’ over the outburst.
“The only thing me and my buddy said was, we were excited that the 49ers scored,” Corey Adams said. “It was only one touchdown.”
Adams said that Ayro paid for his food and left in a hurry saying that he would be back – as in “I’ll be bock.” Not long after, police responding to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of the Applebee’s found Adams, 30, with a grazing gunshot wound to his head and friend Christopher Middleton, 30, with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Witnesses provided police with a description of the alleged shooter and his vehicle. Not long after, police spotted Ayro on a nearby highway and stopped him for questioning. Ayro was then charged with two counts of aggravated assault, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.…Continue Reading
Chicago, IL – Chicago police are questioning six youths and their involvement in the beating of a 17-year-old boy in a Chicago alley that was recorded and then posted it on Youtube.
If you cannot see the video below, it shows as many as seven people beating the kid’s ass. The assailants all look to be around the same age as the victim and can be seen kicking, stomping and punching the boy before they robbed him of his gym shoes, wallet and money.
Police haven’t said why the boy was targeted, but do say it was not racially motivated. You can hear one of the suspects tell the victim that he “fucked up” but other than that there is no reason given for the ass-whooping. As bad as it looks, the victim was taken to the hospital for a busted lip, bruises and some facial abrasions.
I’ve included the video below and while I don’t know if the kid deserved it or not, it’s a cringe inducing beating.
Stoke, UK – Steven Bould, 22, had suffered a debilitating stroke as a teenager after being attacked by a gang of youths. While recovering, Bould became involved with another stroke victim and they had a child together. They then split up. British social services became concerned and made the baby the subject of a child protection order. This led to a determination that the baby should be placed up for adoption.
On September 16, 2010, social worker John Orlowski arrived with the baby girl for a ‘family contact visit’ – one of the last they would have. Shortly after Orlowski’s arrival, Bould reportedly left the room to go to the bathroom. Bould’s sister, meanwhile, put a tea kettle on the stove. While Bould was out of the room, Orlowski brought up the subject of arranging the final contact visit before the impending adoption.
Court testimony described Orlowski hearing the kettle click and realizing that somebody was standing over him. It was then that Bould reportedly poured the boiling water from the kettle over the social worker’s head.…Continue Reading
Hamilton County, OH – An Ohio man who faced a maximum sentence of only 8 years in prison for the beating and blinding of his 6-week-old son Devin offered his explanation during a sentencing hearing. Then he got to hear what the judge thought. I’m going with the judge on this one…
According to court documents, Nicholas McRoberts, 27, called 9-1-1 on June 10 and told the dispatcher that his six-week-old son wasn’t breathing and that he was performing CPR on him. During the call he reportedly stated that the baby was in distress because the child’s two-and-a-half-year-old brother had choked him. Emergency personnel found the baby unresponsive on the apartment floor with a skull fracture and other head injuries. Paramedics were able to revive the infant and transported him to the hospital.
Investigators would later establish that McRoberts had inflicted the injuries to the child and, in fact, waited over two hours to call 9-1-1. McRoberts was charged with two counts of endangering children and felonious assault. He was sentenced on Tuesday.…Continue Reading
Janet Knowles was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated battery after police responded to the home she shares with her husband and found the 65-year-old man bleeding from his brain space.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the man told police he was sitting on his recliner watching Judge Judy when Knowles lost her sh*t and knocked him upside the head with a hammer.
When questioned, Knowles told police she hit the man because he was watching Judge Judy and that made her mad. She then reportedly said something about one of her neighbors and what they were wearing. The responding officer noted in his report that Knowles could not hold a conversation during the investigation.
The man was treated for a cut to his head and forearm and did not require hospitalization. Knowles is being held without bond.
Welp, at least he got to keep his eyes….…Continue Reading
Quintin O’Dell, 22, was charged over the weekend with the murder of co-worker Alissa Shippert. The 22-year-old woman had been hacked to death while fishing in the Platte Falls Conservation Area in May of 2011. But O’Dell wasn’t charged in the crime until after he was questioned about the alleged disemboweling that occurred in late December. The victim in that incident, 21-year-old Brittany Costello, was stabbed in the stomach multiple times after a night of drinking with O’Dell.
Costello told investigators she had invited O’Dell to her place Christmas night and the two had consumed several beers, some vodka and tequila. She eventually passed out, fully clothed, and when she awoke, O’Dell was gone and her guts were hanging out of her stomach. She apparently shoved ‘em back in and fled to a neighbor’s home.
When questioned, O’Dell reportedly told investigators he became “enraged” after listening to Costello arguing on the phone with her boyfriend about the future of their relationship.…Continue Reading
According to an arrest report, an argument broke out between the victim and 31-year-old Ronald Deaver shortly before midnight on December 31 as they watched music videos.
The two ended up outside of Deaver’s apartment, and when the victim admitted his ignorance to Beyoncé’s marital status, he was stabbed and undisclosed number of times.
Police attempted to locate Deaver at his apartment, but a woman inside the residence, 31-year-old Jennifer Fornari, apparently told officers that Deaver no longer lived there.
Deaver was eventually located nearby and taken into custody on a charge of felonious assault. Fornari was later arrested and charged with obstruction of justice.
The victim survived the attack and is currently listed in good condition.
Damn…with this kind of shit, we’re going to need an ‘overreact much?’ tag here at the D’D.…Continue Reading
Police responded to the home the alleged eyeball gouger shares with his uncle at about 10:00 Saturday evening. The unidentified 62-year-old victim was found at the bottom of the basement stairs with his hands stretched out in front of him, saying, “Please help. I cannot see.”
According to police, the victim had “blood streaming from both eyeballs, covering his face below his eyes. Both of his eyeballs were swollen, dislocated and were protruding approximately a quarter-inch from the eye sockets.”
The man told police he and his nephew, 32-year-old Exulam Holman, had been arguing over the remote right before shit got bloody.
In a fit of anger, Holman reportedly threw the remote to the ground, breaking it, and shoved the older man to the floor. He then straddled the victim, inserted his thumbs into the man’s eyes and attempted to pry them from their sockets.…Continue Reading
