Oregon, OH – A 10-year-old girl is looking at animal cruelty charges and a whole ‘lotta counseling after admittedly and unapologetically drowning a 5lb Chihuahua named Tiny. Carla Frent, the dog’s human, said Marcella, her mentally-challenged 19-year-old daughter, was walking the dog several weeks ago when the younger girl called out to her and somehow coaxed her into her home. Once inside, the child grabbed Tiny and headed for the bathroom. Inside the bathtub, the child drew the shower curtain closed so Marcella couldn’t see what was happening. She then held Tiny under the water for approximately five seconds. What happened next isn’t exactly clear, but someone in the home managed to get the little pup breathing again. The child initially told police she just wanted to give the dog a bath – several story changes later, she admitted to intentionally holding the dog under water. The police report said the child showed a lack of emotion throughout the ordeal. Tiny spent the weekend at the vet’s office, but died shortly after returning home.…
Continue ReadingSPRINGFIELD, LA – Three teens are facing animal cruelty charges after a dog was found severely beaten and bloody in the road. Witnesses would help identify the kids responsible. Police say that a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl lured the adult dog off of a porch and into a yard so that a 15-year-old boy could beat it in he head with a baseball bat. The two teens who lured the dog were charged with principal to aggravated cruelty to animals and released to the custody of their parents. The 15-year-old who used the bat has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and placed in the Florida Parish Detention Center. There was also a 7-year-old boy involved, but because of their age no charges will be filed against him. The dog was treated at a veterinary clinic and is expected to survive. I’ve stated this before in similar stories, but when we were kids we got into a good amount of trouble – but none of it involved beating kids and animals or sticking things in the asses of passed out people.…
Continue ReadingCLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. – John Lewis McKinley has been arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty after his neighbors told police they witnessed him attach Choker, his pit bull mix, to the back bumper of his truck and then drag him through the neighborhood. “The dog was tied with a tethering device to the rear bumper of a 1999 GMC pickup and the other end, obviously, was tied to the dog and the dog was dragged some distance down the street. Neighbors saw (the dragging) and contacted authorities,” said Capt. Mark Thompson. Choker is alive, but suffered some nasty injuries including asphalt burns to his chest and inside of his groin, and flesh torn off the top of his feet and pads. That’s just the physical stuff that will eventually heal. The mental damage done will probably take longer unless the dog is like my cat and has a memory of around 14 seconds. Otherwise McKinley may have created a walking, bi-polar bear trap that will eat a kid whenever a truck commercial comes on television.…
Continue ReadingChristian Rizk Sees Demons, Strangles Cat And Beats Up Girlfriend
July 20, 2010 at 3:46 am by CausticOrlando, Fl. – Christian Rizk is one crazy mofo according to reports from his girlfriend. God I love you, crazy people.
Christian Rizk returned home from a long day of work a little different than usual. Different as in he was in the middle of a full blown psychotic episode.
According to police, Rizk has a mental condition that he hasn’t been taking his medicine for and has a history of cutting himself. Police received a 911 call from the girlfriend stating the Christian came home in, “an altered state of mind” claiming the she and her son were , “Satan and demons and that they were dead meat”. Rizk disconnected the phones, turned off the lights and proceeded to strangle the life out of the family cat. While still holding the cat, Rizk called his girlfriend a slew of names, kicked her in the stomach and threw her into the wall. She ran from the apartment to the neighbors and dailed 911. Rizk then threw the cat on to the hallway floor and refused to let the victim’s son leave the apartment.…
Continue ReadingFairmont, WV – After a somewhat bitter separation from her husband of 38 years, Cathryn Washington insisted upon custody of the couple’s dog, a 14-year-old yellow lab named Delta. Cathryn packed her belongings and the dog and left Washington state for West Virginia. Just 11 days later, Delta is dead because her human, a former nursing professor, is a moron. According to police, what was supposed to be a quick 15-minute dash into a Costco store to buy pet supplies took Cathryn more than an hour. While she was strolling through the air-conditioned aisles, Delta was baking inside the car. The temperature in Fairmont that afternoon was 104°. By the time the woman made it back outside, Delta was already pretty far gone and she reportedly died there in the car. After Cathryn realized Delta wasn’t going to need food, toys, or a doggy bed, she returned to the store to get a refund on the supplies she had just purchased. She told Costco employees she didn’t need the items because her dog had just died in the parking lot.…
Continue ReadingAventura, FL – According to police, 64-year-old Armand Pacher has been arrested and charged with animal cruelty after he allegedly spoke to a staff member in a veterinarian’s office and mentioned something about having sex with Christie Brinkley, his 2½-year-old Great Dane. The staff member called Pacher last week to reschedule an appointment for the pup’s eye surgery and asked about the dog’s general health – that’s when Pacher supposedly led the conversation down a sick and twisted path. “She doesn’t seem to enjoy it as much when we have sex. Maybe it’s because I haven’t been as energetic lately and that’s why she’s not enjoying it.” An examination of the spayed animal revealed evidence of forced sexual activity. And according to the vet, the evidence could not have come from another dog. Pacher’s attorney Jeffrey Weiner (tee-hee) says dude denied making such a statement and that the staffer must have misunderstood a wisecrack. “I’m quite familiar with the evidence that exists, and I’m really disappointed that Aventura police would make an arrest based on unsupported evidence and conclusions,” Weiner said.…
Continue ReadingCharleston, SC - On July 4th, Peggy Morris and her husband discovered a total of four dead cats scattered around their property – one was off the side of the road and three more had been tossed under their trailer home. According to necropsy results, all of the cats had been shot with a pellet gun – including a mother cat who was shot five times in the head – and three of the cats died from blunt force trauma to the head. Kay Hyman, director of outreach and communication for the Charleston Animal Society, reported that two more cats were found injured, including a second mother cat who was scheduled to have her paw amputated on Wednesday. “Seven kittens she was nursing — four of them hers and three belonging to the other dead mother cat — had to be euthanized because she could no longer feed them due to her injuries.” Morris already had a suspect in mind – her neighbor, Shane Byerly. She said neighbors informed her that Byerly had been bitching about the number of cats roaming the neighborhood and threatened to take matters into his own hands.…
Continue ReadingMan Arrested, Accused Of Setting Puppy On Fire During Domestic Dispute
July 13, 2010 at 6:35 am by MorbidFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Police say that during a domestic dispute with his wife, Tony Brian Knolle, 24, tried to burn a 9-week-old pit bull to death. Police were flagged down by Miacarla Knolle as she was out trying to find help for her puppy named “Red” who was suffering from burns, singe marks, blisters and gashes along his left hip and leg. Red was taken to the animal shelter where he received medical treatment. “It tears me up. I hate to see any animal like this,” Detective Jonathan Perkins said. “With animals and domestic violence, it will start with the animals and then move to the kids and the wife.” Red will remain at the shelter and put up for adoption, eventually chewing off kid’s faces with relative ease. Tony Knolle was arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty but it’s just too bad he pulled this stunt now, and not after December 1st when North Carolina’s Susie’s Law goes into effect. This law was just signed by Gov. Beverly Perdue and ensures tougher penalties in animal abuse cases.…
Continue ReadingBOULDER, Colo. – This is the third post we have made regarding Abby Toll. Back in April ’09 she was charged with animal cruelty after taping her boyfriend’s dog upside down to the side of a refrigerator. She had gotten mad that he had not given the dog away and that it crapped on the floor. When police arrived on the scene responding to a domestic disturbance call, they found the Shiba Inu still attached to the fridge with packing tape. She and her boyfriend were both charged with animal cruelty, although unlike the boyfriend, her charge was a felony. A year later her trial began after she unsuccessfully tried to state her actions were a result of diminished capacities brought on by domestic violence. She was facing 18-months in jail as well as providing me with at least two solid masturbation sessions thinking of her in a threesome with her barely legal, Russian cell-mate and Miss Payne, the dominatrix prison guard. But on Friday a judge sentenced her to 30 days in jail, attending classes for domestic violence, mental health and anger management as well as 200 hours of community service and three years probation.…
Continue ReadingTORRINGTON, Conn. – Helping some kid in Southpark, Colorado bolster his claims of Gingers having no souls, Nathan Mosimann, 22, has been arrested and charged with killing one dog, and pouring boiling water on another. On April 27, a beagle named Carly was found lying on the floor of Mosimann and his girlfriend’s home, unable to get up and suffering a bloody mouth after Mosimann had been alone with the dog. Carly was taken to the vet and treated for an ear infection, but no x-rays were done. Carly would die later that day after found was found lying on the floor unresponsive. An autopsy revealed that Carly had a fractured skull and a fractured neck that did not coincide with the story that the dog had been hit by a car. When family member’s learned that a dog of Mosimann’s had died, they alerted police with some more information. This wasn’t the first dog to die at the hands of Mosimann. Eight months earlier he had “dropped” a pot of boiling water on another dog, Teddy, causing sever burns to 45 percent of its body.…
Continue ReadingYorktown Heights, NY – It hit 94 degrees in my neck of the woods yesterday – a rare treat here in Portland – and I thought for sure that I would burn to a crisp and be reduced to a handful of ashes. Fortunately, though, I had access to plenty of cold water and a little shade. Heriberto Palacio’s 6lb. Maltese wasn’t quite so lucky. Police say Palacio and his family were looking to beat the heat Monday afternoon, so they loaded up the van and headed out for a swim. While the family was out enjoying the water, the little Maltese was left tied to a hand truck in the back of Palacio’s van. The temperature outside the van was a scorchin’ 95 degrees – the temperature inside the van was close to 140. Another park patron noticed the dog convulsing and notified park police. Authorities broke into the van and rescued the pup, but it was too late. “The animal, which continued to convulse, was removed and immediately put under shade and given water which it could not drink,” said Ken Ross, chief of the SPCA of Westchester.…
Continue ReadingDENVER, Colorado – I was gonna post about this incident last week but vacation got here first. You may have read about it. A man returns home after being out a couple hours only to find that someone had broken into the house. He didn’t notice anything missing aside from Conrad, his mother-in-law’s 4-year-old English bulldog. After a quick search, Conrad was located in the bathroom. Someone had drowned him in the bathtub. David Lopez pulled Conrad out of the water and began CPR, but it was no use. He then called Rosemary Whelan, and his fiancée, Lisa Whelan, who were out of town, and told them the bad news. ”He was crying. I couldn’t understand him,” Rosemary said of David. Police would like to find the person(s) responsible. Capt. Louie Perea said it was something he had never seen before in his career. “It’s unusual for someone to make entry into a home and drown a dog, especially one of that size,” he said. So unusual in fact, Conrad’s body was sent to the veterinary department at Colorado State University in Fort Collins to perform a necropsy and for toxicology tests.…
Continue Reading“It’s definitely cruel to rub the butt of a dog in somebody’s face, especially a child.”
July 1, 2010 at 8:11 am by JadedErwin, TN – Before I go any further, how ’bout I give you a second or two to let that title sink in. *files nails while Jeopardy music plays in the background* Has it sunk in yet? Good. Let’s continue. According to police, Robert Hensley was arrested on Tuesday and charged with child abuse and animal cruelty after he allegedly slapped one of his girlfriend’s kids, duct taped her Pug’s legs to it’s body and rubbed the dog’s ass on the faces of her two children. Hensley’s live-in girlfriend called police in the wee hours of the morning on June 20th to report that he had possibly overdosed. The woman said Hensley had been drinking and popping pills the evening prior and she and her children were scared. After Hensley passed out, the woman collected her kids, ages 8 and 10, and hid out in the woods until police arrived. She told deputies that Hensley slapped her 8-year-old in the face earlier that day, but the child showed no physical signs of abuse.…
Continue ReadingWoman Leaves 25 Cats And 2 Dogs In Hot Car While Gambling In Casino
June 30, 2010 at 1:23 am by FlamingFoxSt. Charles, MO- Around 12:15 p.m. Sunday, a guest at the Ameristar Casino called police to report that a car filled with animals was parked inside the casino’s parking garage. When police arrived, they found a Chevy Lumina packed with 25 cats in cages and 2 dogs. The inside of the car so messy, police could smell it before they saw it. Not only was the interior covered with animal feces, it was also cluttered with trash and cat food was strewn throughout. The outside temperature that afternoon was about 90 degrees, but according to Casino Security, the temperature typically runs about 7 to 8 degrees hotter inside the garage than the outside temp. The car windows were cracked open about 1 inch and the animals had been left to suffer in that hot, nasty car without any water. The officers found the owner of the vehicle, 39-year old Lori Ann Pellin about 2:15 p.m. in the casino hotel’s computer room. (Yes, the animals were still inside the vehicle for those 2 hours that they searched for her!) Pellin told detectives she was homeless after being evicted from her apartment three days prior and she had been living in her car.…
Continue ReadingISLETON, Calif. – A lot of things wrong with this story, but we will start with why 19-year-old Kimo Acoo was charged with animal cruelty the other day. He was sleeping at his girlfriend’s house when her two kids, age 7 and 10, accidentally woke him up. Enraged, Acoo picked up the boy’s Siamese kitten and threw it as hard as he could into a bedroom door, killing it. But I kinda jumped the gun…the kitten didn’t die immediately. The boys wrapped the mortally wounded kitten in a towel and ran outside looking for a paramedic. Unable to locate one the two boys made their way to city hall where they asked the police cheif Rick Sullivan to save their cat. “The boys were very upset,” Sullivan said. “It had shallow breathing and sometimes convulsed. It was obviously injured.” Sadly, the kitten had not yet developed its demonic powers and died. The distraught boys told the police what had happened, leading to Acoo being questioned. He admitted to throwing the cat but said it wasn’t out of anger, it was because he was in the mood for some handball.…
Continue ReadingLAKELAND, Fla. - Police have charged a man with animal cruelty after they say he chucked a cat off a 2nd-story balcony. Timothy Joseph Baggett, 26, stated that the cat used to live with him and his fiance but after it had a litter of kittens it had become aggressive. As a result, the kittens were found homes and the cat was made to live outside. But on Saturday, the cat ran inside the apartment and Baggett lost it. “I’m not a bad guy. I made a mistake and this is something out of the ordinary for me,” Baggett told The Ledger. “I grew up around pets … I’ve always been a pet-friendly person. It’s just a really bad day.” Can’t say I blame the guy much as I’m sure the cat ran in to attack them and was just about to start flying around the room shooting lasers from its eyes. After being tossed over the balcony, the cat demonstrated its demonic powers after cracking the windshield of a parked car by running off (probably laughing) with no injuries aside from a bloody nose.…
Continue ReadingThomas Gorman And Roark Xanthos Accused Of Torturing, Killing Snapping Turtle
June 14, 2010 at 4:15 am by JadedLong Island, NY – On May 22, Thomas Gorman and Roark Xanthos, both 18, found a 12-pound snapping turtle on the side of the road. The pair transported the turtle to a friend’s house and asked if he wanted it, but the friend declined. According to police, Gorman and Xanthos then waited around until said friend left the house. Once the coast was clear, the dynamic duo moseyed on out to the back yard and began constructing a fire pit with rocks. Once that little task was finished, they tossed the turtle into the pit, doused it with gasoline and lit a match. Once the turtle was nice and crispy, the sadistic twats decided to put it out of it’s misery by stabbing it through it’s shell with a metal pole. The morons then left the scene, leaving the turtle behind. The friend’s family called police after they discovered the turtle carcass in their yard. A necropsy performed on the critter also found that it was covered in melted plastic, leading Sgt.…
Continue ReadingHudson, NY- I will never understand why some idiots even bother to get a pet when they obviously lack the dedication, love, and compassion required to take care of the animal. On May 29, an investigator from the Columbia-Greene Humane Society responded to a complaint of a dog starving in an apartment. The CGHS investigator found a young dog starving inside a small crate, without food or water, at the home of 26-year-old Rainer Blue and 22-year-old Lauren King. The young dog, now named Rufus, was taken to CGHS where he was examined by a veterinarian and found to be emaciated, and in very poor overall condition. “Had he gone another day without food or water, he would’ve most certainly died of malnutrition,” said said CGHS president Ron Perez.. Rufus has already gained weight and is expected to make a full recovery. The Hudson Police Department arrested Rainer Blue and Lauren King and they were each charged with one count of animal cruelty, “Failure to Provide Proper Sustenance.” If convicted, Blue and King each face up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.…
Continue ReadingEVANS, Colo. - You know, I didn’t think anyone would top Jaded’s Thursday ritual of drinking box wine and then driving naked around the neighborhood on a riding lawnmower while flicking lit cigarettes at children, but I am pretty sure 21-year-old Gary Carville has her beat. Police say that on Thursday, Carville got into a fight with his girlfriend stemming from the fact that their 10-month-old puppy named “Midnight” kept waking him up with his early-morning barking. He also wasn’t happy with her stupid decision to give up smoking cigarettes and weed because, well, she’s pregnant. After smashing his bong and cutting his hand, Carville grabbed his woman by the throat while punching his girlfriend’s mother a couple times when she tried to intervene. But he wasn’t done yet. Carville then took Midnight and tossed his ass off a bridge and into the South Platte River. The police report has the girlfriend stating she saw the dog “flip” out of Carville’s hands as they drove over the river, and then she “heard it splash.” She added that when they went back over the bridge they saw the puppy trying to swim, but sadly no one has seen the dog since.…
Continue Reading- Another day, another bunch of idiots. Should have figured that yesterday was just the calm before the storm. There was so much terrible shit going on in the news today that we just didn’t have time to get to it all. Here is a small sampling:
- PEARLAND, Texas – A woman was attacked by two pit bulls outside of her home and she and her husband are claiming that the only reason that she is alive today is because of their cat, Lima. It wasn’t until Lima jumped into the fight that the dogs were distracted long enough for the woman to be dragged into the house.
- DICKINSON, Texas - Some kids suffered minor chemical burns after one of their dumbass classmates mixed something (more than likely toilet bowl cleaner) with aluminum foil underneath the gym bleachers. The 13-year-old was arrested and charged with arson. You almost made it to the end of the year, kid.
- RIVERVIEW, Fla – Michael Major was arrested after some fellow motorists witnessed him tossing three live kittens out of his car window, running over one of them.
