COLUMBIA, MS – Thought you guys may like this story. Brings up a lot of interesting points in regards to certain breeds of dog. Tanya Barnes, 47,was visiting a friend when she was attacked by one of his pit bulls. You can watch the following video as she explains the entire episode, but if you have difficulty looking at her face, here is what happened. The man she was visiting got up to go to the restroom and the male pit bull jumped off the couch to follow him. The pit bull accidentally stepped on a pit bull puppy that was on the floor. The puppy yelped and the female pit bull immediately attacked Barnes. And by attack, I mean the dog clamped on to the upper portion of her face – the lower jaw of the dog was in Tanya’s mouth, the upper clamped down around the bridge of her nose. She finally let go only after the owner as well and the male pit bull pulled her off.…
Continue ReadingNew Port Richey, FL – Thomas Carter Jr. didn’t get to enjoy life much – just seven days after he was brought into the world, he was mauled to death by Sidon – his mommy and daddy’s “lovable” 45-pound pit bull mix. As Thomas lay sleeping next to his mother, 16-year-old Nicole Koezeno, Sidon attacked – leaving more than 50 claw and puncture wounds on the baby’s back and chest. Nicole had no idea that her baby was more or less being eaten as she napped. In fact, she had no idea until someone knocked on her bedroom door at about 11:45 Wednesday morning. Nicole reportedly got up to answer the door, turned around, took one look at her bitten and bloodied infant and started screaming, “My baby! My baby! My dog bit my baby. He’s bleeding.” Jackie Welch, a neighbor who had stayed at the home overnight, claims to have heard nothing from the bedroom where Nicole, Thomas and Sidon slept. “The dog didn’t make a noise or nothing – no growling, no barking, no nothing,” she said.…

Well now, that’s not something you hear every day, huh? Morrell Denton, 96, was taking a stroll that fateful Thursday morning when the pissed off otter crossed his path. “I just looked down on the ground and I saw this little animal walking across and he walked across real slow,” Denton said. “And I looked down there and he grabbed me by the leg,” he said. “When I fell is when he grabbed my hand. I tried to pull him off with the other hand and he got hold of that hand.…

Hoboken – “There was blood everywhere,” a witness reported. Three people went to the hospital after getting their asses handed to them by a couple of pit bulls who went on a rampage in a luxury apartment building.
“There was blood everywhere,” a witness reported. No word on what set the two dogs off (probably a fly buzzing around the room) but what is being reported is that the dogs went nuts. “There was blood everywhere,” a witness reported.
The apartment had torn up furniture to match the victims, police killing one of the dogs just to get it off of one of the female victims. “It didn’t look like she was going to make it. She was bad. Her entire leg was torn up,” Paul Michael said. To make matters worse, the second dog got loose and began roaming the halls. “There was blood everywhere,” a witness reported.
The dog eventually went after police, was sedated and died later. Three victims were all taken to Jersey City Medical Center. One of the women suffered serious injuries.…
Continue ReadingFontana, California – Just kidding about the cocker spaniels, the breeds involved are exactly what you expect. Shortly before 5 p.m Monday, a mother was walking her four kids to a local park as a reward for doing well in school when they were attacked by a mastiff, a pure bred pit bull and three pit bull mixes that had gotten out of their yard. Neighbors heard the attack and intervened, even throwing rocks at the dogs. The attack left a 5-year-old girl in critical condition and on a ventilator suffering from a punctured lung, broken ribs and numerous bites. Her 7-year-old brother received bite wounds, one that required 237 staples. Her older sister was treated for injuries to her arm and leg, and needed 18 stitches. When police arrived on the scene, the pit bull was shot and killed after it charged at officers. The four surviving dogs have been quarantined at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter and will likely be euthanized after being tested for rabies. No charges have been filed against the owner of the dogs, who reportedly stated they are very sorry and claim the dogs were not trained to fight.…
Continue ReadingNEWPORT NEWS - On Sunday, police officers arrived at a home after recieving a call reporting a domestic disturbance between a man and his wife. When a female opened the door, a male pit bull ran out of the house and attacked the lead officer. After being bitten in the hand and forearm, the officer used his service weapon to shoot the animal. This pissed off the dog’s owner, 46-year-old Willie James Sims, and just like his dog, he came out of the house and began assaulting the officer. Showing a bit more restraint than I would have, the officer decided not to use his gun on Sims’s face and opted for the pepper spray. Sims was arrested and charged with assault of a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct while intoxicated, drunk in public, obstruction of justice, assault and battery on a family member, and a summons for dangerous or vicious dog. The officer’s injuries were not life-threatening, and animal control was called to care for the dog.…
Continue ReadingGreen Bay, WI - I don’t know what the hell is going on in this particular household, but this story is just too friggin’ bizarre to pass up. On Wednesday, a 17-year-old girl was hospitalized after she was attacked and bitten by a three-legged pit bull after being involved in some sort of altercation with a 35-year-old woman. The teen, who said the older woman intentionally sicced the dog on her, had to be rescued through a bedroom window in the home because there were several dogs running loose inside the home. The girl suffered numerous bites to her face, neck, back, stomach, legs, and arms. And the bizarre part? Turns out some of those bite marks were left by human teeth. The older woman in the home was arrested for physical abuse of a child and bail-jumping. She told officers that the teen beat her up – hence, the attack by the three-legged pit bull. Just when you think you’ve heard it all… …
Continue ReadingChicago – Johnny Wilson, 56, was found dead in the home he shared with his daughter and two grandchildren. He had been mauled to death by his daughter’s pit bulls. He had suffered severe head trauma, including having both his ears bitten off and at least one of his eyes mauled. Four adult pit bulls and two puppies were confiscated from the home on Sunday. Wilson’s daughter, who was breeding and selling the dogs, gave permission to have them all euthanized. Investigators are trying to determine which dogs were involved in the attack. They also stated that the animals did not look mistreated and seemed healthy. “He was a very nice, outgoing man. I talked to him every morning,” Wilson’s friend William Watts said. “He never did nobody no trouble. Went to work every day. His wife recently died from cancer. It’s some sad stuff, man”. The dogs may have been scared by the low pitch of Wilson’s voice. Wilson had complained earlier that the dogs had ripped his clothes, Watts said.…
Continue ReadingAPPLE VALLEY – Just messin’ with you. It was the family’s pit bull. But wouldn’t that have been a shocker, right? A 911 call was made on Saturday about a young boy who had been attacked by a dog and had stopped breathing. When paramedics arrived on the scene, they found 3-year-old Omar Martinez unresponsive. He would die two hours later at the hospital. The pit bull that attacked the boy was shot to death by a deputy after it became aggressive towards him and firefighters. An autopsy will be conducted on Martinez while sheriff’s deputies and animal control officials continue to investigate. It has not been reported if any adults were around at the time of the attack and no charges have been filed at this time.…
Continue ReadingMIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla – Miccosukee police responded to a call on the Miccosukee Indian Reservation about vehicles in the parking lot of a casino being broken into. One man was captured at the scene, but another ran away and dove into a retention pond located behind the establishment. If he knew it or not is not clear at this point, but this pond has live alligators in it with signs clearly stating that fact. After being informed of this, the man decided that the cops were probably a way better option than being eaten alive by alligators, so he began making his way back to shore. Unfortunately, the man met Poncho before he could reach safety. Poncho is the alligator nick-named by the locals who lives in the pond. Witnesses heard the man scream shortly after seeing Poncho before disappearing under the water. His body was later found by divers, 50 ft below the surface. He had several bite marks on his head. Poncho was captured and killed, per Florida law, and will be incinerated or buried after Miami-Dade medical examiner can check him out.…
