Melbourne, Australia - Wanna see something really gross? First, check out this short video of a man getting hit over the head with a beer bottle. Then after the jump, read about the attack and check out the really graphic picture of the injury it caused.

Not quite like the movies, huh? Even worse is this all may have been a case of mistaken identity. The 21-year-old electrician was at a Queen Street club at around 2:40 am Saturday when a man approached him and led him to some women who had accused him of spitting on them. As he is explaining he has no clue what they are talking about, a man blindsides him with a shattering bottle to the noggin. Police are now saying that the victim wasn’t even the man the girls were looking for as video shows he wasn’t even in the area during the time of the alleged spitting incident. Not that it would have mattered anyway – the guy who swung that bottle is a coward regardless.

After the attack, the two assailants ran from the club and hid in a parking garage before catching a taxi. Police announced today that they have made two arrests in connection with the attack. A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with intentionally causing serious injury. He is to appear in court tomorrow. A 21-year-old woman was brought in and released pending a summons application. I assume that means a warrant? Admittedly, I’m not well versed in Australian legal lingo. But I do like they way they call getting hit over the head with a bottle a “glassing” – which sounds a lot cooler than “getting hit over the head with a bottle”

Tampa, Florida – A Greek Orthodox priest, Alexios Marakis, 29, was visiting St. Nicholas Greek Cathedral in Tarpon Spings. He was in Tampa to visit a fellow priest but got lost downtown. So he pulled into an apartment complex and approached a young man to ask for directions. Sadly, he asked a complete tool named Jasen D. Bruce – a Marine reservist. Instead of directions, Marakis got Bruce’s tire iron upside his head. Bruce then chased Marakis for three blocks while Bruce called 911 saying that he was trying to apprehend a terrorist. When police arrived on the scene they say Bruce told them he heard the man say “Allahu Akbar” and then added “That’s what they say before they blow you up.” Classic. When he was informed that the man he had beaten was a priest, Bruce started crying. Jasen Bruce was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

But this isn’t the first time Bruce has attacked someone. He was arrested for attacking a tow truck driver in 2007 on Halloween night. Bruce pled no contest to battery charges against tow truck driver Steve Allen after Allen attempted to tow Bruce’s Jaguar he had illegally parked next to a gym. “They were all yelling and all of a sudden (Bruce) comes running across the bed (of the truck) with both hands and hits me in the chest,” Allen said. “It hurt. Probably the hardest I’ve been hurt in my life.”

The priest suffered cuts and bruises and stated that after being hit and running away, he fell. When Bruce caught up to him, Bruce hit him again. Marakis is upset about the incident mainly “because he doesn’t want the ministry to be scandalized.”

But what kills me about Bruce is all the different reasons why he beat this man. Granted, Marakis doesn’t speak English well, sported a beard and was wearing a robe – but Bruce has added so much to his version that he is making Marakis look like a cartoon villain. He is stating that he thought Marakis was trying to rob him, that Marakis was going to blow him up and now he is stating that the priest grabbed his genitals.

Check out this video that includes some of Bruce’s modeling shots (feel free to look up the sites they mention) and listen to his lawyer who will probably hate immediately. In the full four minute statement, Jeff Brown referred to Marakis as a “bearded attacker” six times and used Bruce’s military rank 17 times. Bruce has never been deployed overseas, btw.

Now after watching that video, I have a couple of questions. First, could Bruce look any more retarded?

Duhhh, which way did he go, George? Which way did he go?

And second, who in the fuck is that SMOKING brunette we catch a glimpse of? Holy shit she looked fantastic. They caught a bit of her ass in that video and I had to pause it and rub one out real quick.

Mountain Home, Arkansas Armed with a face only a mother could love, a criminal past, and an axe, Jason Marshall pretty much fucked up his parole. Monday, police received a couple of distressed phone calls regarding a domestic disturbance, the second of which the victim stated she and her children were able to escape their abuser but needed medical attention. An ambulance was dispatched to intercept the patients, Elizabeth Marshall (41) and her 9-year-old son at an intersection and they were transported to a nearby hospital.

The big question here: WHY? Perhaps better asked: HOW? Seriously, Jason, who’s 29-years-old, had a colorful background of domestic abuse which landed him in prison once before. It’s not clear if Elizabeth is the same wife that was attacked with a knife previously – if so – maybe lessons aren’t easily learned there in Mountain Home. I could possibly see sticking around after that if he were the catch of the century and it’s hard to imagine that being the case here.

Jason is accused of whooping up on Elizabeth and then, as her 9-year-old son was coming to her rescue, Jason allegedly picked the child up and slammed his head against the wall. As they were fleeing, Jason picked up and threw an axe, just missing Elizabeth and striking her car. I doubt that story was hard for the police to swallow because when they arrived at their home, Jason put up a little protest and had to be tasered. I’m wondering, if when he was going after the cops, any of them looked at him and thought, “IT IS ALIVE”. I may have shit my pants.

And even though there was another throw-down in the booking area of the local jail which caused some damage, police were able to arrest Jason on domestic battery, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest. I might have suggested beating him with an ugly stick but man, that shit molded onto his face.

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Don’t say that some of us have not been warning you guys for a long, long time. One of our field operatives was almost arrested after attempting to exterminate a zombie in Iowa City. The zombie was spotted inside a restaurant south of the University of Iowa campus. Our agent feared for the safety of the living public and attempted to incapacitate the zombie by punching it in the face. This is not standard procedure, as noted in our Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead, but the agent attempted to punch the zombie in the face a second time, breaking its nose. Our agent was able to flee with is life, while the zombie was last seen being transported to a “hospital” – or more likely the government facility it had escaped from. We will keep you informed of all the latest developments regarding the beginning of man’s destruction by the zombie horde. And agents, please read your handbooks. There are right ways and wrong ways to attack a zombie. This was the wrong way.

Wilmington, Boston – Michael VonKahle, 48, brought his 12-year son to his Pop Warner football practice 12-minutes late. As punishment the coach, 43-year-old William Reynolds ordered the boy to run laps. Vonkahle wasn’t too happy with his kid being punished for his mistake, and let the coach know it. He told the coach, “If anybody needs to run laps, it should be you, you fat [expletive].’’ Not sure what the expletive was. Ass? Fuck? Whatever it was, VonKahle sat in the bleachers with other parents and continued to shout at Reynolds. The coach finally walked over to the bleachers. The story is a bit different from this point on, depending on the man telling it. VonKahle states Reynolds asked him to come take a walk, while Reynolds states he simply asked Vonkahle to discuss his problems in a more secluded area so that the kids would not have to see them arguing.  But both agree that this meeting ended with VonKahle getting his ass kicked.

After the two men arrived at an area away from the field, VonKahle states that Reynolds took of his jacket, and then knocked his ass out. “I didn’t think I was going to take a beating for saying something. That was my mistake. Yeah, I made a mistake in calling him a fat . . . but, you know, I went over to the other parents, I sat there, and then he came over and said ‘Let’s go for a walk.’ As we got out there, and he threw down his jacket; it was a whole different thing. And then two seconds later, I was lights out, and it was over. I actually said, ‘What the bleep,’ and I was looking at his jacket, and as soon as I put my eyes on it, gone. I was out.’’ And by the picture shown to the right, he isn’t lying. Reynolds really did knock the shit out of him. VonKahle suffered a fractured eye socket, broken nose, and torn rotator cuff on his shoulder.

Reynold’s account differs in that he accuses VonKahle of throwing the first punch. He says that VonKahle threw a  jacket over his head and began punching him first. Reynolds said he took the jacket off his head and returned punches. After a flurry of blows, he asked VonKahle, “We had enough?’’ to which VonKahle responded “Yeah.’’ Reynolds said he got up and walked back to the practice field. In a statement to police, he said “I consider my actions to be a result of his aggressive actions toward me.’’

Reynold’s has now been charged with aggravated assault and battery. He was forced to take a leave of absence pending the police investigation’s outcome and the league’s board of directors will take further action now that the criminal charge has been filed. “The man is obviously not going to be coaching in our program,” she said last night. “This is not what our program is about. We’re trying to keep the kids on the right path. I don’t know if anybody really understands what happened here.”

I’m torn on this one as I hate the character traits of both these men. I dislike the loud-mouthed bleacher fathers just as much as I do the hot-headed coaches. A great ending to this story is that they both went at each other like Peter Griffin and the Chicken, both getting their asses equally handed to them. But even though that is not the case here, and the father ended up with the more severe injuries…I am surprised he filed charges. He ran his mouth and taunted the coach. Sure, it is well within the leagues rights to fire the coach as he did not demonstrate the control and personal attributes they want from their coaches – especially coaches to 11 and 12-year-old kids. But legally? Bwuahahahaha! If I were the judge, I’d throw this shit out while laughing. Don’t want a broken nose and eye socket? Don’t taunt the wrong guy.

Aurora, IL – I like music just as much as the next person, maybe even more.  But as much as it can affect  my mood, I rarely get homicidal over it.  Even if I was forced to listen to Miley Cyrus over and over for days, I’d probably just bang my head on the wall until it split open before I ever tried to kill anyone.  That is unless Miley herself was in the room with me – then I promise nothing.  But, I digress.  Raymundo Herrera, 17, is one of those people that takes their tunes seriously – something his 3 year-old niece had to learn the hard way.  When the toddler interrupted Herrera while he was listening to music, he set her on fire.

The child had just spent a short amount of time upstairs with Herrera when the child’s grandmother and aunt heard a scream.  Seconds later, she came running down the stairs with her clothing on fire.  The women extinguished the flames and dialed 911.  Herrera, frustrated that the girl kept interrupting him while he was trying to listen to music, had doused the 3 year-old with lighter fluid and set her on fire.  WTF?  Overreact much?  The toddler suffered 3rd degree burns on 18% of her body and was flown to a nearby hospital where she remains.

Herrera fled but was later found walking in the neighborhood by family members.  The family brought him back to the scene and held him for police.  He was charged with two counts of attempted murder, heinous battery, aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery.  He is being held on a $3 million dollar bond.

Relatives are saying that Herrera suffers from a mental issues brought on by a brain injury suffered when he was hit by a car as a child.  You have to admit, he is a goofy looking bastard.  It would be so much easier for me to accept that this kid was not of sound mind when he did this instead of just having to deal with the chance that he is just another heartless psychopath, however, that still leads me to one question.  How the fuck was he able to  get access to lighter fluid and fire?

Jackson County, Florida Law enforcement officers contend with an awful lot while they’re on duty. As as we’ve witnessed on the Dreamin’ Demon, their job is far from easy. Domestic disputes have to be a certified mess as they sort out all the “he said, she said” bullshit and sort out who did what to whom first. It’s aggravating when they spend so much time trying to distinguish who’s telling the truth. I believe in time efficiency, if there’s a discrepancy in stories, haul everyone to jail and sort it out there. But not always is my way of dealing with things the best way. If the police simply responded to this domestic call without looking around, the living conditions of this couple’s children would have gone unnoticed.

Tuesday evening, Asha McElvy called 911 to report she was a victim of a domestic violence situation. She briefly described she had been hit on the head and was chased with a knife. When deputies arrived, she elaborated on the situation by stating Joseph Atkins (52), the father of her two children (ages 1 and 3), had thrown an ax at her, hit her in the head with a board, and chased her around the yard with a shovel during their marathon argument which took place in three intervals throughout the day. When police interviewed Atkins, yes, he admitted to the charges to a point, claiming he was just trying to scare her into leaving. Hell, it would have worked for me.

But upon inspection, not only did the officers find all the implements of destruction, they also found the two little children living in total hell. It was apparent the 4 of them shared a cot in the middle of the living room, there was not adequate food for children of that age, no electricity, and no flush-able toilet. Actually, they used buckets to run the toilet – and obviously it was a torturous job because when the deputies looked, the toilet was full. (and I don’t mean full of water) But before everyone gets in a huff about this, they had just moved to this trailer within the week…and it was a step up from where they had come. They were living in a portable building with no utilities and no toilet – working or not – that Atkins had forced them to live there. Whatever.

While placing the perfect parents under arrest for the various charges, Asha McElvy (23) was compliant at first and only went bat shit crazy when the deputies started to lead her out of the house. It became a battle of wills, and despite having to physically drag her to the squad car, place her in, and being spit on, the police won. The lovely lady of the house has been charged with two counts of child neglect,  battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest without violence. The charming man of the palace has been charged with two counts of child neglect and aggravated assault. The article didn’t state where the children had been taken but I think it’s safe to assume they won’t be returning to their parents anytime soon.

Chicago Ridge, IL-Would you believe another child had the gall to cry this week? Seriously, when are these kids going to learn that crying is not allowed? Not in baseball and most certainly not in the home of jerks with no patience and very few braincells. Someone like 28-year old Michael Healy. You see, Healy dislikes crying kids so much, that he has no problem sending the little tykes airborne when he’s heard enough. Sounds like a real fun guy to have around. Not. Last Thursday night, police were called to Healy’s apartment after his girlfriend called 911 when she came home and found her 2-year old son badly injured. Blood was coming out of the boy’s nose and mouth and bruises were beginning to form on his cheekbone.

What investigators learned was that Healy had been watching the boy, who is not his son, along with a 4-month old infant that Healy was the father sperm-donator of. For some unknown bizarre reason, because we all know this rarely happens, the 2-year old started to cry and cry and cry. The genius caregiver that he is, Healy gave the child a few pops in the mouth and when the boy still didn’t cease with the noise, Healy whacked him upside the head.

Now, I don’t where Healy learned that this was a sure-fire way to shut a kid up, but his back-up plan for when the first one failed really had me wondering if this dolt actually believed it would work. Healy grabbed the crying child’s right arm, swung his small body around in the air, and then released. The boy was launched across the room with so much force that his leg broke when his small body crashed into the corner of a wall. By the time the police arrived, Healy had fled the scene and was arrested after he turned himself in on Friday. He was charged with aggravated battery to a child and his bond was set at $300,000. Nice, Asshole. Real fucking nice.

Las Cruces, NM-Carlos Sanchez-Trillo, 20, has a nasty temper when things do not go his way. Last Wednesday, officers responded to a report of domestic violence where they found a 3-5 month old Chihuahua mix named Lucky badly injured. The officers learned that Sanchez-Trillo had become angry when his 18-year old girlfriend had returned home late from giving blood. Sanchez-Trillo allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by her arm, twisted it behind her back, and removed a ring on one of her fingers.

Sanchez-Trillo then told his girlfriend her dog, Lucky, which had began going into seizures, was going to die because it was left outside in the heat too long. But two witnesses at the residence told police that Sanchez-Trillo had submerged the dog in the bathtub in an attempt to drown it and then threw it against a wall. Sanchez-Trillo then beat the dog with with a rolled-up magazine. Unfortunately, Lucky did not live up to his name and was later euthanized by county animal control officers. Sanchez-Trillo was charged with battery against a household member and one fourth-degree felony count of extreme animal cruelty.

Besides Lucky, there were two other Chihuahua-mixes in the residence as well as three pit bulls. Sanchez-Trillo allegedly threw his sister’s Chihuahua down a flight of stairs two months ago, breaking one of its legs. One of the witnesses claimed Sanchez-Trillo had also previously punched one of his dogs in the face and ran over another dog, breaking its leg as well. They said that as a child, Sanchez-Trillo had a habit of blowing up frogs with firecrackers. Sanchez-Trillo was being detained under a no-bond hold for violating probation for a previous aggravated burglary and larceny charge.

Chicago, IL- Considering the criminal record of RSO Michael Barnes, 49, I do not understand why any woman in her right mind would want to have this man in their life, let alone, leave their child in his care. In 1980, Barnes was convicted of molesting and murdering a 13-year old child. That year, he was sentenced to 4 years for indecent liberties with a child and 28 years for first-degree murder. Then in 1995, Barnes was once again sentenced to 10 years in prison for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. Sounds like the only thing this guy is good at is costing tax payers money while he continues to prove he’s not worth a damn dime of it. Somehow, this career criminal was released on parole in May 2004 for God knows what, overcrowding in the prison, good behavior, ignorance on the parole board, and once again he is facing more prison time for severely burning a 2-year old child.

Around 8:30 a.m. on July 20, Barnes’ girlfriend came home to find her 2-year old son, Khanerion Toney, screaming in pain. The child’s mother realized her son had been severely burned from the waist down and she took him to the hospital. There, she told authorities that Barnes had said the boy had soiled himself and he had given the child a bath. Barnes said at first he did not notice any burns after he bathed the child, but later on admitted that the child did struggle during the bath due to the water being scalding hot and the Assistant State’s Attorney says Barnes did it because he was angry over the boy soiling his pants. Little Khanerion had second- and third-degree burns on his shoulder, entire back, buttocks, genital area and both legs. Khanerion is in the pediatric intensive care unit of the hospital and doctors are still trying to determine if he will need skin grafts.

Detectives went to the home and arrested Michael Barnes. He was charged with aggravated battery of a child and he is being held without bond. During the hearing, Barnes continued to interrupt the judge despite his attorney’s advice and said of the boy and his mother, “That is my woman. That is my stepchild.” Okay…WTF ever, dude. I have a feeling some very similar statements will be made in reference to you when your child-murdering-burning-ass makes it way back to the gray-bar motel where there’s plenty of slippery soap, but never enough rope. Sheriff’s deputies had to push his defiant ass back to a lockup and he is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing today.

Aiken, South Carolina Meet Erica. Her self-described Myspace entry states her interests are kids, butterflies, and shopping. Her favorite television shows are American Idol, CSI, General Hospital, Dragon Tales (PBS), and The Big Comfy Couch (ABC Kids). Newly married and cute as a button, why parents would have a problem choosing her as their children’s daycare provider is beyond me. But I’m thinking, after her stint in prison, she might be looking for a new career other than running a daycare. Who the fuck knew that children cried and screamed? I mean, it’s not like that in any of those shows she watched. Well CSI maybe, but it’s never more than a minute or so and it just shows things that happen to other people, not this sweet Southern Belle.

She’s a good Christian woman, world at her manicured french-tipped fingers. (I just love cultured girls) But poor Erica learned the hard way that Paradise was merely an eight-letter word slapped behind her first name, and nothing other’s children would bring into her home.

Nope. Those filthy kids brought snot, dirty diapers, and a whole lot of noise. How in the fuck is a girl suppose to keep caught up on what the Quartermaines are doing when there are babies screaming for food and attention? Solution:  Beat them up. Attack them. Throw them around like sacks of potatoes. Sure they’ll scream harder for a bit, but if you’re really good at it like Erica, you can shut them up by inducing seizures from the abuse. Clever.

But one always runs the risk of someone spying. You know, people are always on the lookout for solutions to age-long problems and this was exactly what Erica found. Some other lady discovered this quiet child on the bed seizing and an emergency crew was called. Now had Erica been good at multi-tasking, she would have thrown the baby in the bathtub with some spit-up rags and that seizing child could have been agitating the nastiness right out. She clearly didn’t learn foresight in college and certainly didn’t think to cover her tracks prior to letting nosy people into her home.

Erica Paradise entered a guilty plea for attacking this child and was sentenced this week to 10 years in prison suspended to six years and four years probation for hitting this infant, throwing the 7 month-old onto a hardwood floor, then onto the bed. Although the child suffered a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage, there are no signs of permanent injuries. Lucky bitch.

Crystal River, Fl- It’s summertime again. Time to take the kiddies to the beach, get intoxicated, hold their heads underwater, and kick the shit out of them when they lose your car keys. What? You mean you have never done that? Well, damn, I guess 42-year old Mark Wayne Wessel is in a league all his own when it comes to creating fun summer memories with his two wee-ones. Ah, good times, good times. Around 8 p.m. last Saturday, officers were called to the beach on Fort Island Trail in Crystal River after witnesses reported a man was abusing two young children.

Witnesses told police they seen Wessel kick a 4-year-old boy and then pick him up and drop him back on the ground. They also said that Wessel held the boy’s head under the water until he was crying and gasping for air. Wessel was also seen kicking a 3-year-old girl to the ground.

The boy confirmed the witness’s story and told police that Wessel became angry when he learned the boy had lost his car keys. At first, Wessel denied the accusations, but then admitted he had kicked the boy on the feet because his feet were dirty. Officers detected alcohol on Wessel’s breath and he was stumbling and slurring his speech. In the door handle of Wessel’s car, officers found a hand-rolled marijuana blunt. A background check revealed a history of possession of narcotics, domestic battery and child neglect. Mark Wessel was arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse with a bond of $10,000.

Edwardsville, IL-Ever get that feeling you’re being watched? If it’s anything like one of my favorite movies, The Hills Have Eyes, then it can be one creepy ass feeling to have, especially if you’re stranded in the desert and being stalked by a clan of deformed cannibals who inhabit the surrounding hills. Too bad that scenario only exists in the make-believe world of movies, because that is the exact place I would love to send the two ass-hats pictured below. Thankfully, though, they were being watched in real life and their two young children are now safe from clutches of their worthless parents.

Sheriff’s deputies paid a visit on Father’s Day to the “very filthy” home of 21-year old Derek Hill Sr. and his 27-year old wife, Eva Hill after social workers received a tip that their 2-year old son was being abused. When officers arrived, the Hills allowed the officers to see their 1-year, but said their 2-year old was staying with relatives in Kentucky. Thankfully, the Hills were being watched because later that day, the officers were informed that the Hills had lied and that their 2-year was hidden from them during the visit. When the officers returned to their home, they learned from someone that the Hills had left. The officers contacted the Hills by phone and convinced them to return to their home with both of their children.

At first glance, the officers noticed a cigarette burn on the 2-year old’s cheek and it was very obvious he had been physically abused. The officers also learned that the child had been put in the clothes dryer for at least a minute, maybe longer, but the dryer had never been turned on. Also, on at least one occasion the boy had been beaten with a belt. The abuse happened while Derek Hill was watching the children when their mother was at work. Officers learned the abuse had been occurring over a period of about three weeks. Both children were put into protective custody by the state Department of Children and Family Services. Derek T. Hill Sr. was charged with aggravated battery of a child. Eva E. Hill also was arrested on the same charge, for knowing about the abuse, but not doing a damn thing to stop or prevent it. Both of their bonds were set at on $50,000 each.

This last Wednesday, Michelle Douglas and her boyfriend Joseph Michael Smith, a soldier with the 3/187 Infantry, were socializing at a house with Douglas’ 18-month old son. When the host of the shin-dig noticed Douglas’ son was suffering from some very serious and visible injuries, the host immediately called the police. Police arrived and the boy was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital. Because of the severity and extent of the child’s injuries, he was then transported to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville where doctors confirmed the injuries were consistent with abuse. The boy was suffering from a broken arm, fractured ribs that were already beginning to heal, and many bruises and burn marks around his face and thighs. Police believe the child was hurt a day or two before Wednesday and that his mother knew about it and did not seek medical treatment for her son. Fucking heinous bitch!

Joseph Smith, 23, admitted he was responsible for the boy’s injuries and was charged with aggravated neglect and endangerment. His bond was set at $250,000. Michelle Douglas, 23, was charged with aggravated neglect, endangerment, and accessory after the fact. Her bond was set at $500,000. The child was placed in the Department of Children Services care and orders of protection have been filed against both Smith and Douglas.

Oakland Park, FL- On June 11, 38-year old Paul Day made a call to 911 that his 5-month old son had mysteriously stopped breathing. The baby was first taken to Holy Cross Hospital and then to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, where doctors confirmed the child’s injuries were consistent with shaken baby syndrome. Paul Day admitted to investigators that, yes, he did violently shake the little guy because that darn kid would just not stop crying.

We all know that babies cry, but this poor thing had good reason. Day admitted that he had dropped the baby the week before. He said the child slipped out of his arms and when he he grabbed the baby by the legs he “heard a noise.” Day did not seek medical attention for the child and did not inform his wife of the incident. Doctors found fractures in both the baby’s legs and the child is listed in critical condition. Paul Day was charged with aggravated child abuse and child neglect. His bond is set at more than $13,000. Oh, how I would love to wrap my hands around the neck of this asshat and add him to my bobble-head doll collection. He’d fit nicely on my shelf next to the Three Stooges.
