Lashonda Riggsbee and Roberto Demming
Homestead, FL – Meet Roberto Demming.  Demming, 34, had at least two girlfriends and at least two children. But he wasn’t very nice to any of them, it seems.  On October 1st, Demming and girlfriend number 1, Lashonda Riggsbee, 34, were arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse when their 10-year-old daughter was found sleeping on the floor of their locked garage.
The arrest affadavit states that officers found the girl “sitting on the ground in the fetal position in front of a vehicle . . . There was a training toilet located next to the victim that was full of urine.”  Her body was covered with scars. The garage had no air conditioning or windows.  The girl said in a later interview that “she was frequently locked away without food, drink, pillows, toys, light or any company in the garage as punishment, and that she was very scared at night alone in the garage and would ask to come inside, but was not allowed to do so.”

Bedtime with a 2-year-old. It can be a real nightmare for caregivers as the little bastards just don’t want to stay in their beds sometimes. This seemed to be an issue Jessie Rodriguez, 27, was having with the child of his girlfriend, Tisa Hawes, 27. Her 2-year-old boy, Brian Hawes, was having problems falling asleep. Bristol, TN–Just before 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a call of five people trapped in an overturned vehicle. When officers arrived, they found an upside-down minivan and the five occupants of the vehicle, alive and sitting by the road. Among the five were 43-year-old Randy Lewis and 38-year-old Paula Evans, two 10-year-olds and a 6-year-old child. Update: Mitzie Dawn Hadsall has been sentenced to 12 1/2 years behind bars. The punishment imposed Thursday was the maximum possible under terms of a plea agreement on child abuse charges.
Bullhead City, AZ–Robin Hall was shopping at her local Wal-Mart when she spotted a young child all decked out for Halloween. Upon closer inspection, she discovered that the child wasn’t getting ready for trick-or-treating…what she thought was makeup was actually bruises. “His eyes looked like they had blood in them,” Hall said. Muskogee, OK – A couple of pedophiles were caught last week in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Jeremy Parker, 30, and Kerri Renea Webb, 31, were arrested September 22 after an investigation into hotline allegations of abuse. Webb’s nine-year-old son and six-year-old daughter were named as the victims.  This week, both Parker and Webb have been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse against the children. …

DENVER – Tistan Price, 23, told police that on Friday morning, he went to wake up his step-daughter, 4-year-old Tamyrill Randall. She would not respond. He shook her and tried to wake her by putting her in the shower, but she would not wake up. Tristan called 911, and the little girl was pronounced dead at the hospital. The cause of death? “Multiple injuries located in the torso region, which included eight broken ribs and a liver that was almost ripped in half.”…
