Update: 3/9/09-Darak Williams and Kashema Reddish were picked up Sunday night in Buffalo, New York. There is no word when the couple will be brought back to Scranton to face homicide charges.
UPDATE 12/26/08 – Darak Antonio Williams and Kashema Reddish were charged with the murder of Kavannah Salvador on Tuesday, December 23, ten months after Kavannah was killed. The pair is still at large and being sought by police, but authorities are hopeful that the murder charges will help lead to the couple’s arrest.

Kenosha, Wisconsin – She really is. Zalazar, 25, abused her son Uriel Zalazar so badly that Uriel died of heart failure due to hypothermia. Uriel, 8, was beaten with an extension cord, then forced to exercise by running around the family apartment. PHOENIX – A 4-year-old girl was being closely supervised as she toured the Grand Canyon with her family. Being watched like a hawk by her observant parents, seeing as they were just North of Mather Point and at a location that has sections edge that has no railing, the little girl somehow plunged 500 ft to her death. She was pronounced dead at the scene and the parents will at least find some solace in the fact that their little girl may be the youngest person to ever die at the Canyon from a fall.
May this also be a lesson to all parents, including myself. When walking around the edge of the FREAKIN’ GRAND CANYON, especially any section that has NO RAILING, be sure to not let your toddler run around freely.
