Teen Charged With The Rape Of Girlfriend’s 15-Month-Old

Ravenna Township, OH - A grand jury indicted an 18-year-old on two counts of rape yesterday after he was accused of raping his girlfriend’s 15-month-old daughter.
Earlier this month, 18-year-old Logan Andrew West was accused of raping his girlfriend’s 15-month-old baby, causing her serious internal injuries, and was charged with two felony counts of rape of a child under the age ten.
On August 4, EMS were called to a home in regards to an injured 15-month-old. Because of the severity of the injuries, the infant was transported to the hospital where it was determined the injuries were the result of a sexual assault. She was treated and released to her mother on August 6.
The following investigation revealed that West was one of several people at the home at the time of the assault. After cooperating with investigators, he was arrested and charged with raping the infant.
During his first arraignment West appeared before the judge, via video, wearing protective garb worn by inmates who are at risk of harming themselves. He was ordered held on a half a million dollars cash-only bond.…

BELLEVILLE, IL — A 12-year-old boy is breathing a sigh of relief after his adoptive parents are arrested and charged with torturing him by making him eat screws and do over 1,000 push-ups as punishment.
The oddly similar looking couple’s entertainment was brought to light after the boy confided in his elementary school nurse that he was being abused at home. After closer examination, the boy was found to have bruises on his back, legs and arms which sparked an abuse investigation.
Investigators state that the boy’s most recent torture session started before school when the boy haphazardly ate a cookie in a less-than-tidy manner. James Jennings, the boy’s stepdaddy, found crumbs in the kitchen and feared his dog would get sick by eating the cookie crumbs and, in turn, handled the situation as any clear-headed adult would.
He allegedly pulled the boy out of his room, beat the boy with a wooden paddle, made him eat the cookie crumbs off the kitchen floor along with some loose screws, then forced him to do 1,000+ push-ups on his knuckles.…

New Haven, CT - Michael Wallace, 40, was arrested Saturday after continuously pounding his wife with a six-pack of beer and a coffee pot.
Police officers were dispatched to the couple’s home after receiving a complaint of domestic violence. Wallace’s common law wife, Chastiny Atkinson, had several visible bruises from the attack.
Atkinson confirmed that Wallace was intoxicated when he began arguing with her over “two dudes that don’t even exist.” He was unsatisfied with the damage caused by the coffee pot he started beating her with so he proceeded to pick up a six-pack of beer and began beating her with that as well.
He then ripped hair from her head and began choking her. Before fleeing the scene, Wallace warned her that if she called the police, he would seek retribution. Police were called back to the scene two hours later after a report that Wallace was trying to enter the home. Wallace was located in his car several blocks away.

Plant City, FL — A Florida caretaker was arrested last week after allegedly forcing a mentally disabled man to stand barefoot on fire ant hills as punishment for stealing money.
Quentin Amos, 21, a caretaker at a Plant City group home, was arrested in connection with the incident and another caretaker remains under investigation.
According to police, another caretaker at the home, Martine Florexil, reported the theft of $390 in cash and three checks back on September 8. Amos had reason to believe a 21-year-old resident of the home had something to do with the theft, so he decided to dish up some punishment.
On Sunday, September 11, Amos and another caretaker forced the victim to remove his socks and shoes and stand on the ant bed for an undisclosed amount of time. After being bitten multiple times, the victim was then forced to place his hands atop the bed. The man later told police Amos threatened to hit him if he stepped off. A second resident of the group home told deputies he was punished in the same manner.…

CANDLER, N.C. – This past April, 4-year-old Trenton Michael Scott was found dead in the trailer he shared with his mother and his mother’s live-in friend. The little boy had been beaten to death. Now reports are that at the time of his death, he was legally drunk.
Heather Bensen, 29, called 911 shortly after 6 a.m. to report that when she checked on her son before leaving for work, she found him dead.
“Oh my God!” the sobbing woman told a dispatcher. “He looks like he’s been beaten to death.”
An autopsy revealed Trent had a blood alcohol level of 0.12 percent (well above the 0.08 legal driving limit), and died from a lacerated liver.
He also suffered blunt force trauma to his abdomen and chest, ligature strangulation on his neck, eight broken ribs, a fractured skull, broken teeth, bit marks on his back and chest and numerous cuts and bruises all over his body.
Police would arrest 24-year-old William Godfrey Hedden and charge him with first-degree murder.…

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Two men have been arrested on neglect and tampering with evidence charges after their 64-year-old mother was found dead on Friday.
Karen Mariner suffered from multiple sclerosis. Her primary caretaker for at least the last year was her 36-year-old son Clayton Mariner, who lived with her. Assisting him with her care was his older brother, 40-year-old Jason Mariner, who lived elsewhere. Apparently, both were being paid to care for their mom.
What’s being reported indicates that Clayton Mariner told police that his mother was “fine” on Thursday night but dead the next morning; it also seems he called his brother and two funeral homes before alerting police. I find it a bit strange that Clayton would describe Ms. Mariner as being “fine” on Thursday when the criminal complaint suggests that she had numerous bedsores, …

Rev. John M. Fiala, 52, met the teen back in 2007, often visiting him at his grandparent’s house. Authorities say he initially groomed the teen with gifts like a cell phone, MP3 player, and even cash for a car. In 2008 during a trip to a youth event, Fiala raped the teen at gunpoint in a motel room. Fiala then began abusing the teen twice a month, sometimes on church grounds, under the guise of private catechism lessons. Even though the boy was in his late teens, Fiala would keep him submissive and silent by threatening to harm his family or his girlfriend if he told anyone. He would repeat these threats with daily text messages where Fiala would also threaten to kill him and himself so they would go to heaven together.…

This is one of those stories and involves a horrendous case of elderly abuse. April Johnson, 30, was arrested Thursday and charged with cruelty to the infirmed after police found a 69=year-old relative living in a shed attached to the house. The 10 x 16 foot room smelled of urine and rotting flesh, the victim lying in the fetal position on a vinyl mattress with no sheets. She was lying in a pool of urine that stretched up to her shoulders. A dry, crusted outline of body fluids show the woman had not been moved in awhile. The woman had a broken hip and femur that had gone untreated and because of the advanced sores on her body, bone and tendons were exposed. The woman was taken to a medical facility where she is expected to survive. Apple Valley, MN – Parbati Kalicharan ain’t about to take any lip from some smart-mouthed kid. When her 12-year-old granddaughter supposedly told her to “shut up,” Grandma K came unhinged. The girl was putting a puzzle together on the kitchen table when she got all lippy. This angered grandma, who was in the kitchen, where the knives and other pointy objects are stored. She walked over and grabbed the puzzle box lid, ripped it up and threw it away. The distraught child begged her grandmother to allow her to have the box back, she needed it so she could see the picture and finish the puzzle. Grandma just ripped it up into smaller pieces. She then swiped all the puzzle pieces and threw them in the trash, too. The girl said something like, “I don’t like you,” and crawled under the kitchen table. Albuquerque, NM – When Michelle Charley failed to show up at school to collect her daughter and nephews Tuesday afternoon, school officials called the safe house where Charley and the children had been staying. Staffers at the safe house were able to reach Charley, but she told them she was too drunk to go anywhere. Knowing the woman had a 6-month-old son, social workers paid a visit to the woman’s apartment to check on the infant. When they couldn’t make contact with her, the police were called. When Officers Joey Tosta and Nick Wheeler arrived at the apartment, they found Charley in the bedroom, highly intoxicated, with a man she had met at a gas station earlier that day. Her infant was reportedly laying on the bed, covered from head to toe in flaky, crusty dried shit. According to authorities, shit had leaked out of the child’s diaper. He had it on his back and stomach, up and down his legs, and in the folds of his neck. The poor kid even had shit on the inside and outside of his eyelids. Gainesville, FL - According to police, Joshua Porter, 24, and his 66-year-old girlfriend were in the middle of a heated argument last Wednesday when things started to get a little rough. And weird. When the victim tried to leave the room, Porter allegedly slammed her hand in a door, shoved her on the couch, twisted her nose and beat her about the head with couch pillows before forcing her to kiss a picture of her dead husband. Dallas, TX - Danielle Lewis, 19, took her 5-week-old infant to Children’s Medical Center Dallas at 9:00 p.m. on August 17 to have him treated for numerous injuries. At 3:00 a.m. on August 18, Lewis walked out of the hospital without the infant boy – she said she no longer wanted him. It’s probably because the kid tasted bad or something. The infant was found to be suffering from several human bite marks to both shoulders, his upper and middle back, left buttocks and left thigh. On top of that, he had contusions and severe bruising to his back and buttocks area and abrasions on his genitals. Seems Lewis had a rather fussy baby on her hands, and like many other dolts who have graced the pages of the Dreamin’ Demon, she attempted to soothe and quiet the child by causing physical pain. Chandler, AZ - Chance Kracke told police he was high on meth when he stuck his 7-month-old son in the freezer last Thursday. He has a perfectly logical explanation for doing so though – the kitchen floor was too dirty. On August 16, Chance was in the kitchen preparing to make himself a snack, but found he couldn’t do so with his infant in his arms. What to do? He couldn’t lay the baby on the floor, it was filthy. Walking out of the kitchen and placing the child in his crib would have been far too much work, so Chance put the infant on the bottom shelf of the freezer, shut the door and prepared his food. He remembered where the child was a couple minutes later after hearing the sound of an angry and cold infant emanating from the freezer. Orlando, FL – A woman who has an extensive history with DCF has lost custody of her three children after leaving them to bake in a vehicle while she visited with her boyfriend in jail. Paramedics and police were called to Orange County Corrections at about 10:00 a.m. after receiving information that the children, ages 3, 5 and 2-months, had been left unattended in the car. The temperature outside of the vehicle was 90° – the temp inside was in the triple digits. As paramedics were attending to the sweaty children, Psalmai Thompson came running out of the visitation center, asking, “Where’d she go? Where is she?” The “she” in question is one Cathlean Smith, a friend who was supposed to be sitting with the children. Well, not exactly sitting…Thompson said her friend was supposed to be parked next to the kids to watch them. “They was in another car. I had them meet me there. Monroe, WA – Ivan Belardo, 37, was babysitting for his ex-girlfriend’s twin boys early Monday morning when one of the tots reportedly hit him square in the baby-maker with an aluminum bicycle tire pump, supposedly drawing blood. And according to Belardo, the child, just 22-months-old, “looked as if he meant to do it.” At that point, the 6-foot tall, 195-pound Belardo said he “just lost control.” He told police he hit the child three times with an open hand. Police called bullshit after it was determined that the amount of injury and bruising to both boys was consistent with the use of a tire pump. And it gets even better. According to the boys’ mother, when she arrived back at Belardo’s place after her 30-minute errand, she noticed both boys were without diapers and were covered in bruises. One of the toddlers had been hit in the groin so hard his winky was bleeding. Belardo blamed the abusive outburst on heroin. He told authorities he had shot up at least three times that day – once just two hours before the attack on the toddlers.…

Savage, MN – Thomas Ampe was charged with assault last week in what police are calling the most severe case of child abuse they have ever seen. Ampe is accused of brutally beating his 4-week-old daughter, breaking her in 56 different places. Police were called in to investigate the allegations of abuse on July 22, when the baby girl was seen in the hospital for a rib fracture and assorted bruises. A bone scan revealed a total of 56 fractures to her tiny body – including multiple fractures to her ribs, legs, arms and knees. An MRI revealed three areas of her brain had bleeding and bruising. The infant, who has Down syndrome, has since been released from the hospital and is no longer living in the home. During questioning, Ampe told detectives that his daughter is “typically fussy and crying from the time he gets home from work until he goes to sleep,” and admitted to being frustrated with the child on a regular basis. …

He and his wife, Yoselin Aguirre, are currently facing charges of child neglect because they both failed to seek medical care for his autistic 7-year-old son. When the boy was seen in the emergency room Sunday night after his heart stopped, he was found to be severely underweight – tipping the scales at about 40 pounds when he should be closer to 70. He also had lesions all over his body his body where the skin had come off and was left untreated. Roberto claimed he’d been monitoring his son’s condition and was certain it would get better. Stevenson, AL - Though authorities aren’t releasing many details, one thing is clear – Sherman McBryar has been accused of abusing and torturing his two daughters, ages 1 and 2. In one incident, McBryar is accused of repeatedly slamming his 1-year-old child’s head into the wall and twisting a piece of wire around her wrist to prevent her from sucking her thumb. We also know that McBryar is accused of putting his other toddler child into a car seat and placing said car seat and child in a 90+ degree bathroom with three goats. Yes, you read that right. Goats. In the bathroom. It appears as if the girls’ mother filed a complaint against McBryar, her common-law husband, on Thursday and he was arrested later that day. Investigators say it is the worst case of child abuse they have ever seen and had they not intervened when they did, it was very likely that one or both of the girls would have died from the abuse.
