Titusville, FL – How long does it take to rehabilitate a sexual predator? Apparently, in Florida, it takes 13 years. Thomas Spioch, 52, was originally sentenced to 315 years for molesting a 14-year-old boy and then plotting to kill seven witnesses. Through the great appeals process and thanks to a psychological evaluation that determined he is no longer likely to reoffend, Spioch is free. Spioch was convicted in 1997 of 28 counts of molesting a 14-year-old boy and plotting to kill seven witnesses in the case. Following appeals, his sentence was reduced in 2007 and Spioch already had served most of it. The state then invoked the controversial Jimmy Ryce act, a civil law for violent sexual predators, to hold him at a treatment facility in Arcadia. Spioch had been at the facility since 2007. He will be on probation for 12 years and, of course, will be receiving sexual offender treatment. We all know how effective that is and since his doctor said he wouldn’t reoffend, we can all breath a little more easily. Um, how long do you suppose it will be before Spioch graces our site again?…

Fordingbridge, England – Poor Andy Case. Andy was a delivery driver for the Wiltshire-based company Doccombre Eurpoean for three years. Andy, 32, and his young wife, Vicky, 31, who ran a nursery school, were apparently having, as many young couples do, some money worries. They owed over 7,000 pounds and had been ordered by the court to agree to a formal plan to pay back creditors. Well, I guess this was just too much for poor, poor Andy. Faced with actually repaying his debts, Andy chose to slit the throats of his wife and two little girls – Phoebe, 2, and Nereyea, 1 – and then hang himself. His mother-in-law, Linda Haskell, arriving to babysit for the couple, discovered the horrific scene that was once her family. Don’t you feel bad for poor Andy?! Fuck him. Thanks for saving us the time of sending your sorry ass to jail and damn you for being so self-absorbed that you were sure your family couldn’t survive without you!!! Waterbury, CT – Chloe Ottman, 16, was going to be a junior at Crosby High School … before Francisco Cruz decided he liked her and wanted her. Cruz, 19, developed a crush on Chloe a couple of years ago. They were friends and hung out together. Thursday, they were hanging out together at the Brass Hill Mall. Afterwards, they went to a local abandoned religious park, Holy Land USA, for a few drinks. There Cruz decided he wanted some of that and Chloe refused by elbowing him in the face. Undeterred, Cruz put her in a chokehold. When she started to scream he shoved his thumbs into her throat until she stopped. Dallas, Texas – Okay, so minors aren’t allowed in strip clubs. But is the proper place for them locked in an illegally parked vehicle outside the strip club? Apparently, dad of the year, Michael Galloway thinks so. 36-year-old Galloway wanted to hang out at the titty bar for a while and didn’t want to expose his children to it, so he allegedly left his 9 month old and 3 year old in the car. The car was parked illegally and a tow truck was preparing to tow it away when the driver saw the 3 year old waving to him from the back seat of the car. The doors were locked and the windows were up. Galloway claimed to have been in the bar for only 20 minutes (like that makes it okay). Witnesses at the bar, however, had seen him drinking for more than an hour and a half. Then Galloway claimed to be there checking on his wife who supposedly worked there. St. Albans, WV – Tickets to Hank Jr. concert – $300; penalty for killing neighbor’s dog – 4 weekends in jail, 50 hours at the animal shelter, and $1000 to the dog owner; Not missing Bocephus just because of a little old jail sentence – Priceless!! Back in October, Charles Wiant thought it would be cool to shoot his neighbor’s German Shepherd puppy with a crossbow. Not so cool for the puppy, who stumbled a few yards and fell over dead. Wiant, 17 at the time, was charged with animal cruelty and was sentenced to 50 hours at an animal shelter and four WHOLE weekends in jail, along with a year’s unsupervised probation!! Oh, and he has to pay the owner $1,000 for the puppy. For this “plea agreement”, a more serious felony was avoided since this upstanding young man has plans to join the military and we wouldn’t want to mess that up all because of a stupid little dog! …

Roanoke, VA – Back on January 14, 2010, 24-year-old Brandon Lockett called 911 to report that armed men entered his home and abducted his 2-year-old stepson, Aveion Malik Lewis. Although an amber alert was issued, it was canceled after police shifted their focus to Lockett. Lockett provided conflicting stories about what allegedly happened to his stepson and apparently admitted that the boy was dead. The police asked for the public’s assistance in locating the little boy’s body. A week later, on January 27, 2010, the child’s little body was found in a landfill. His stepfather has been arrested and charged with felony child neglect, improper disposal of a human body and obstruction of justice. Hopefully, Lockett will also be charged with murder upon completion of the investigation.…

Cobb County, GA – Markice “Kesan” Moore was released from jail early Thursday after he turned himself in to Cobb County police for allegedly beating his daughter. The actor, most recently on MTV’s reality show “G’s to Gents”, has been has been accused of breaking both of his infant daughter’s arms, one leg, 3 ribs, a collarbone and causing bruising to her face, eyes, ears, back, chest and rear after being with Moore on Aug. 1. No information on the age or condition of the little girl. Moore has also been featured in “Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” and the films “ATL” and “Drumline.” Moore has been charged with cruelty to children and released from jail overnight on $20,000 bond. Kesan was also arrested in November 2008 for improper lane change and driving without a license. According to his myspace, he is a music star – hip hop/rap/ghettotech.
Chicago, IL – At about 9:30 p.m. Sunday evening, 31 year old Fernando Cooper and an off-duty police officer got into an altercation outside Gibson’s Bar and Steakhouse. Despite the officer’s identification of himself as a police officer, Cooper kept going, causing cuts and bruises to the officer about the eye with several punches and “severely” biting the officer’s nipple. Um, were they nude? Isn’t Chicago a little nippy this time of year? Both men were treated for cuts and bruises. According to a doctor, the officer “lost a body part.” I’m assuming this means his nipple. The cause of the dispute was not immediately known. Now, get this – aside from misdemeanor resisting arrest and panhandling in a prohibited manner charges, Cooper has been charged with aggravated battery and attempting to disarm a peace officer. WTF? Barboursville, WV – In November, 2008, according to 26-year-old Vanessa Stanley’s poorly written Myspace bio, her two boys, aged 5 and 2 months, were her life. At that point, she had no man in her life and her little men had her complete attention. Enter 25-year-old Joey Watts whose penis apparently became more important than Stanley’s young sons. They have both been charged with felony child abuse and neglect against Stanley’s 15-month-old son. Charges were brought following a two-week investigation prompted by the child’s biological father’s complaint of possible abuse. On October 29, 1972, Ezra Cray and his 52-year-old blind wife, Annie Mae, were in bed. There was a knock at the door of their home at 4 Henry Street, Rochester, NY. Annie Mae went to the door, spoke with the person and went back to bed. Although blind, Annie was excellent at recognizing voices and Ezra believes she knew the caller or would not have spoken with him. Shortly after the knock at the door, Ezra heard a cracking sound and felt pain in his head. He awakened to a man standing over Annie Mae, beating her. He was once again knocked unconscious. A bloodied piece of wood about the size of a small log was found in the bedroom. Later, Ezra identified a person whom he believed was in the room that night. That person was James Kimble, a friend of son Tommie Cray. However, Kimble had an alibi which checked out and was dismissed as a suspect. Los Angeles, CA - After being convicted of killing 12-year-old Robin Samsoe in 1979, Rodney James Alcala was twice sentenced to death. Both convictions were eventually overturned. The first conviction in 1980 was overturned because the court ruled that his past crimes — a 1972 conviction of raping and beating an 8-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl, plus the molesting of another child — were improperly allowed. Then in 2001, the second conviction was overturned on grounds that Alcala’s lawyers should have been allowed to introduce a psychologist’s testimony casting doubt on a witness’ claim of amnesia and that his attorney did not present alibi witnesses. Now Alcala is back for a third shot at the needle. This time authorities have added four other murders to his repertoire. Alcala’s DNA has been identified in the murders of Jill Barcomb, 18; Georgia Wixted, 27; Charlotte Lamb, 32; and Jill Parenteau, 21. These women were murdered, sexually assaulted, beaten and strangled between 1977 and 1979.…

Middletown, OH – Now I haven’t been to a county fair for a while, but I believe I could find more exciting things to do than watching people shit. Apparently, not so for 20-year-old Coty Heltsley. In July 2008, Coty crept into portable toilets to spy on people pooping in the adjoining potties through the ventilation shafts. Coty has admitted to damaging the ventilation screens in the potties as well as pumping his pickle to the performance he spied. But he was also upset that HIS rights to privacy had been violated by police when they set up a stakeout on the portable toilets while investigating complaints of a Peeping Tom. Coty’s lawyers also added that woman who identified Coty couldn’t have possibly recognized him through that little ventilation shaft. Ah, but the witness pointed out Coty without hesitation, recognizing his face, eyes, round cheeks, and hair color – even in that little space. Poor Coty. Salt Lake City , UT. - On the evening of September 10, 1998, 10-year-old Anna Palmer was sexually assaulted and stabbed numerous times in the neck, one wound nearly severing her spinal cord. This all took place on Anna’s front porch, on a busy street across from an elementary school where activities were occurring. Yet, there were no witnesses aside from a friend of Anna’s who told police a man she did not know followed the pair as they walked home from school that day. Luckily, fingernail scrapings from Anna were preserved and recent DNA testing produced a match to 31-year-old Matthew John Breck, a man currently residing in an Idaho prison for a 2001 conviction of sodomy/lewdness of a child under 16. He also lived down the street from Anna at the time of her murder. Breck now faces felony charges of aggravated murder, sexual abuse and child abuse. Hooray for technology. Albuquerque, NM — Ashley Gibson, 19, and Jacob Nichols, 20, are charged with child abuse after beating their 3 month old daughter. The baby, now on life support, is being treated for more than 20 fractures and possible brain injuries. The couple took the baby to the hospital for a fever. Amazingly, they thought that was more urgent than the numerous injuries the infant had. Mommy admits to tossing the baby on the bed and to putting band-aids or tying ribbons over her mouth to keep her pacifier in place. Daddy admits to regularly spanking the baby. Tell me what a 3-month old does that deserves spanking? Jacob also indicated he would hit her under the chin if he had a bad day. He also enjoyed dropping the baby from heights of about 18 inches for crying or for amusement.
