11-Year-Old Boy Charged With Murder Of 13-Year-Old

ALBANY, Ga. — 13-year-old Darius Wallace died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen on Saturday, and now two juveniles have been arrested – including the alleged 11-year-old shooter.

The 11-year-old has been charged with felony murder and tampering with evidence while a 15-year-old has been charged with possession of a firearm and tampering with evidence. Both are being held in a youth detention center. Reports on what led up to the shooting of Wallace are sketchy, especially since no one seems to be talking, but additional charges could be pending as the investigation continues, according to Dougherty County Child Death Team Investigator Greg Blackmon.

“We’re trying to unravel what’s going on. Like I said the appropriate charges will be based on everything that is revealed from the investigation. We want to find out what happened with the forensics of the situation. What the witnesses are saying,” District Attorney Greg Edwards said.

What is being reported is that Wallace and some other kids were inside the home of the 15-year-old charged boy where no adults were present but a small caliber handgun was.…

Police Still Looking For Woman Whose Fiance Was Found Dead Of Apparent Suicide

Mount Pleasant, SC – Police are still searching for the South Carolina woman who was reported missing hours before her fiancee was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Dara Lee Watson was last seen alive by her mother on February 6 when when she stopped for a visit with her fiancé, David Hedrick, at the family’s business in Boone, N.C.

According to Hedricks’ statements to police, he and Watson got into a fight later that same evening and that she had left the couple’s home the next day. he says that she has done this before after an argument but he is worried about her.

On February 8, Watson’s boss says he received a text message from Watson stating that she was fine. Watson’s sister would also receive a text message from Watson’s phone a few hours later. That same day, Watson’s burned out SUV would be found in Francis Marion National Forest, but the police there don’t connect it to the missing person case.

On February 10, Watson’s boss called police to report her missing.…

Actress Zina Bethune Killed While Helping Injured Possum

GRIFFITH PARK, CA – This sad story goes out to a group of people in Finland who are reading the site when they should be working.

Actress and dancer Zina Feeley was killed the other day while trying to help an injured possum.

Feeley was just days away from her 67 birthday when she tried to help the animal shortly after midnight Sunday. Police say she Feely was driving when she saw the animal in the road and stopped to give assistance. As she was walking towards the animal, she was struck by a car.

The impact threw Feeley into the opposite lane where she was struck by a second vehicle and drug underneath the car for over 600 feet. She was then struck by a third vehicle. The drivers of the first two vehicles that hit Feely stayed at the scene, the third one did not.

Paramedics pronounced Feely dead at the scene and police would like to talk to the motorists who fled, described as driving a white car.…

Man Beat Child To Death For Not Vacuuming Apartment

PITTSBURGH, PA – Pittsburgh police say a 29-year-old monster beat his girlfriend’s 11-year-old son to death because he did not vacuum the apartment.

While  Donovan McKee’s mother was at work on Saturday, he was being subjected to a nine hour beating at the hands of her boyfriend, 29-year-old Anthony Bush. The man was upset with the boy’s failure to clean up and was beating him with various objects found in the apartment.

Bush admitted to officers that he beat the boy with wooden sticks, hitting him in the head, legs, arms and torso, and would then order the boy to clean up the sticks after they broke. Police said that Bush even used a needle and thread to close a cut he’d caused on the boy’s arm.

By time McKee’s mother arrived home later that night, she found her son unresponsive. Bush tried to get McKee’s mother, Cynthia McKee, to say the boy had fallen out of a window but she refused and called 911 — after first calling relatives — saying her boyfriend had assaulted her child. When police arrived, they found the poor kid lying naked on the living room floor.…

Pastor’s Daughter Accidentally Shot In Head While Inside Church

St. Petersburg, FL – A pastor’s daughter was shot in the head while in church on Sunday after a man accidentally discharged a gun he was showing to another church member.

Police say 20-year-old Hannah Kelley was shot in the head after a gun her boyfriend, Dustin Bueller, and two other men were looking at inside a closet at St. Petersburg’s Grace Connection Church after Sunday’s service.

The men were looking at a 9mm owned by Moises Zambrana, a licensed security guard who has a carry permit for the firearm, after Bueller informed Zambrana that he was interesting in purchasing a handgun.

Zambrana was in the process of showing the firearm’s safety features when it discharged a round. Turns out he had removed the gun’s clip but did not check to see if there was a round chambered. There was. The bullet passed through the closet they were standing in and struck Kelley in the head.

Kelly, whose father is the pastor of the church, was rushed to Bayfront Medical Center where she remains in critical condition.…

The Pulpit of DOOM – Drunkcast 2

Here, Now – I cannot believe I forgot to post a link to this today, but thanks to everyone who showed up to our second drunkcast. It was fun. You can listen to it at our BlogTalkRadio page.

For those of you who were lame, or had a life, our drunkcasts are pretty much the same as our Wednesday night Pulpit of Doom podcasts, but we make a point of drinking as much alcohol as we can handle during the show. In this case, I was drinking Old Fashioneds while Jaded nursed some vodka.

It’s only our second drunkcast, and so far nothing too embarrassing has happened (that I can remember) aside from Jaded’s made up words and insane giggling. Of course I maintained a constant air of dignity and restraint as we discussed stuff I cannot remember before discussing being butt-raped by Bigfoot.

Anyway, thanks again to all of you who showed up and chatted. We hope to have a guest next time… for some reason people seem reluctant to show up on such a classy show held in such high regard by the upper echelons of the podcasting community.…

Man Who Committed Suicide At Gun Range May Have Killed Wife

Broward, FL – On Saturday morning, a 52-year-old man died after he walked into a Florida shooting range, rented a gun, and then shot himself. When police went to his home to alert his wife, they found her dead inside the house.

Police say the man entered the Arizona Shooting Range & Emporium in Lauderdale Lakes at 10:18 a.m. and rented a gun. A short while later, he shot himself in the head while in the target-shooting area. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A detective arrived at his home a few hour later but could not get anyone to answer the door, even though his wife’s car was parked in the driveway. Because of the day’s earlier events, the detective entered the house and found the man’s wife dead in a bedroom. Investigators are calling the deaths a murder-suicide.

Last October, another man committed suicide at the same gun range, leaving suicide note in the parking lot. In August of 2010, we reported on a very similar story out of Florida where a 24-year-old man killed his girlfriend before going to the Gallery Gun Range and committing suicide.…

Eighth-Grader Shoots Self In Face With Shotgun In School Cafeteria

Walpole, NH – On Friday, a 14-year-old boy pulled out a shotgun while inside a school cafeteria and shot himself in the face. Surprisingly, the boy is currently still alive.

Police say Hunter Mack was upset over a relationship with a girl when he shot himself in the face with a 20-gauge shotgun at around 11 a.m. at Walpole Elementary. There were around 70 other students in the cafeteria at the time of the shooting.

On student told reporters that when one their friends noticed the gun Mack had hidden under his clothing and asked what it was for, that Mack stated he was “making things better” before shooting himself.

Mack was rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery for his significant facial injuries. His relatives say that his vital signs are good, but that he will have a challenging recovery.

Classes have resumed today and crisis response counselors will be available for students and staff.

All I can think of when I read the word “challenging” is James Vance, the guy who tried to kill himself with a shotgun blast to the head but only managed to blow off the lower half of his face.…

Woman Charged After Punching Child During Anger Management Class

LOUISVILLE, Ky.  – Police arrested a woman after she allegedly punched her 10-year-old son in the face during her anger management class.

Earlier this month, 30-year-old Misty Lawson was taking the class when she allegedly got pissed at her kid and punched him several times in his face and body. A counselor who witnessed the incident called police as well as Child Protective Services.

The boy suffered from redness to the eye and a knuckle bruise on the right cheek. Lawson was charged with fourth degree assault, and probably needs to get her damn money back. This isn’t the first time Lawson has made the news regarding something stupid she did with her son.

Last June she and 29-year-old Derek Noel left the boy, then 9-years-old, and a 12-year-old boy in the back seat of a hot car while the went inside a Kroger to get their pictures taken. It was 90 degrees outside, so when some Kroger employees saw the boys unattended in the back of the car, the stopped a police officer.…

Two Teens Charged With Sexually Assaulting Students In High School Locker Room

HARDIN, Mo. — Two teenagers are facing sexual assault charges after being accused of sexually assaulting students in a high school locker room.

I’ve been following this story since it first broke in December but the details were too vague so I decided to wait until more details came out. They have, and it’s not pretty.

According to court documents, 17-year-old Jeffrey R. Ellis and 18-year-old Randy E. Estenbaum sexually assaulted separate students in the Hardin-Central High School locker room on separate occasions. These assaults happened while students were changing for P.E. or to play basketball.

In November, one of the accusers told police that Estenbaum pinned him down and forced his legs up in the air and “humped” him while he was naked. In December, Ellis allegedly assaulted two boys with the help of two others. After two other students helped hang two classmates upside down, Ellis allegedly pulled down one boy’s pants and stuck a water bottle in his butthole.

The school conducted its own investigation and all four students who participated in the attacks were expelled from school in January while Ellis and Estenbaum were charged as adults with forcible sodomy.…

Teen Mom Busted Stuffing Cotton Down Her Baby’s Throat

CHARLESTON, SC - A teen mom was arrested after video surveillance in a hospital room captured her shoving cotton from a stuffed animal down her child’s throat.

The baby had been admitted to MUSC Children’s Hospital two weeks prior to the incident because her mother, 17-year-old Chevonne Youngineer, said her her child “frequently quits breathing or starts choking.” Luckily, according to Youngineer, she had learned CPR and saved her child’s life on multiple occasions.

Because of the child’s many brushes with death, the baby had been placed in a hospital room equipped with a hidden camera. The other day, Youngineer requested asistance because once again, her baby wasn’t breathing. Nurses were able to revive the infant and remove some cotton that had somehow made its way into the baby’s mouth.

Hospital workers reviewed the surveillance footage and watched as moments before she called the nurses, Younginer tore cotton from a stuffed animal and then shoved the stuffing into her baby’s mouth before covering the baby’s face with a blanket. After several seconds Younginer went back and pushed the stuffing further into her baby’s mouth and walked away.…

Teacher’s Aid Charged With Creating Child Porn Inside Classroom

Brooklyn, NY - A teacher’s aid has been arrested after he allegedly videotaped himself spanking a child and fondling another – in a public school classroom.

FBI agents arrested 40-year-old Taleek Brooks after a computer and two external hard drives seized from his home were found to contain child porn. Brooks became the target of a child porn sting after he traded some child porn images with an undercover police officer online. But turns out Brooks was doing more than just trading child porn, the sicko was also creating it.

Two of the videos retrieved were taken in a classroom at Weeksville School where Brooks has worked since 1995. According to the complaint, one was of Brooks fondling a child’s genitals and another was of him spanking a naked child. Investigators believe the videos were shot sometime between January 2008 and January 2011.

The complaint also states that Brooks “admitted that he had been downloading and sharing child pornography for approximately seven years.” He also “indicated that he had collected and saved over 1,000 digital files on his computer containing child pornography.”

The Department of Education released a letter telling Weeksville School  parents to call a confidential FBI hotline, 212-384-2700, if they have any information relevant to the investigation or believe that one of their children may have been victimized by Brooks.…

Son Of Rapist Charged With Abusing His Infant While Wife Took Pics

MT. MORRIS, Michigan – Police have charged a husband and wife with possessing hundreds of images of child pornography, including photos that show the husband abusing the couple’s 6-month-old daughter that the police believe were taken by the girl’s mother.

Police arrested 25-year-old Daniel Hall and charged him with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and using a computer in the commission of a crime. His wife, 26-year-old Alisha M. Hall, was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and possession of child pornography.

The couple’s arrest was the result of an investigation that began last October when an anonymous couple contacted police to tell them that the Halls, who they met on a swingers website, were asking if they had a young daughter that could participate in any sexual activities.

Once police got involved, Daniel Hall repeated this request to an undercover officer, leading to police executing a search warrant on the couple’s home in January and taking away four computers. Investigators were able to retrieve 745 images of child pornography from those computers, 13 of them featuring Daniel sexually abusing his 6-month-old daughter.…

Sexual Predator Accused Of Flashing Children In Walmart Toy Aisle

TITUSVILLE, FL – Police have arrested a registered sex offender for allegedly exposing himself to a couple of kids in the toy aisle of a Florida Walmart.

Police say that 28-year-old Robert Walyus was in a Titusville Walmart last Saturday when he approached two children in the toy aisle and asked if he could touch them while his dick was hanging out of his pants.

One of the victims ran off and told her mother what happened and that she “saw his thing.” The mom witnessed Walyus adjusting his pants when she turned around and looked at him. Waylus managed to get out of the store before authorities arrived, but after using images from surveillance video, Waylus was soon identified and arrested at his home.

He was charged with with lewd or lascivious exposure to a child under 16 years old and is currently being held on a $125,000 bond. He may be facing more charges as detectives were able to link him to a similar incident at Titusville Publix last October.

But none of this comes to no surprise to the police who know Waylus, listed as a sexual predator on Florida’s sexual offender registry, as he has been in and out of jail for similar offenses for the last 10 years.…

Iowa Police Still Looking For Man Who Stole Mega Masturbator

“Possessed” Woman Charged With Slitting Her Baby’s Throat

CAMDENTON, MO – Police have charged a woman with first degree assault and armed criminal action after she slit her baby’s throat. This came months after she told a minister she was possessed by demons and was afraid she was going to hurt her daughter.

According to the probable cause statement, Tyler Tebrock called police to report that his mother, 39-year-old Bradie Simpson, and his 9-month-old sister were missing. He was concerned because he had found blood and a bloody knife in his mother’s bedroom.

Police searched the area and would find Simpson holding her blood-soaked baby in some woods nearby a few hours later. The infant was unresponsive, suffering from a neck wound and Simpson would not say a word to police.

They were both rushed to the hospital where the baby underwent emergency surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. Doctors say that had it not been for the cold weather and the quick responses of all involved, the little girl would have probably died.

So far no motive has been given, but police did find a plastic baggie and two spoons in her room, one of which tested positive for heroin.…

SNU Student Stabbed By Vagrant While Feeding Homeless

BETHANY, Okla. – Police say a Southern Nazarene University student was stabbed while feeding the homeless this past Saturday.

Zachary Smith, 21, and another student from the university bought a homeless man a pizza and were ministering to him before Smith was attacked. Reports say Smith placed the pizza on the ground near the man right before the man hit Smith in the head and stabbed him several times in the chest.

The students were able to drive to a doughnut shop and call 911. Smith was taken to the hospital, treated for his wounds and then released. His attacker, described as a white male in his 40s, has not been located.

SNU spokeswoman Sarah Roberts said the students were acting on their own and within the school’s motto of  ”Character, Culture, Christ Almighty This Asshole Is Trying To F*cking Kill Me”

“We are deeply concerned for the students that were involved in this traumatic experience and are most grateful that the injuries sustained were not more serious. The students involved were acting compassionately, as many of our students do on a daily basis, serving the community and meeting human needs as they encounter them,” she said in a statement.…

Teacher Charged After Her Child Found With Drug Pipe In Diaper

GUTHRIE, Okla. – An Oklahoma couple have been arrested and charged with child neglect after one of their kids showed up to school with a marijuana pipe in its diaper.

The child’s parents, Jessica and Jesse Renaker, were subsequently arrested and charged with child neglect and drug possession after police showed up to their filthy home and found over an ounce of marijuana, a loaded .380-caliber handgun and four marijuana pipes within easy reach of the couple’s two children.

If convicted, they face anywhere from a $5,000 fine to  life in prison. They have since been released from jail on $52,000 each. No word on how these charges mess with Jessica’s professions as a certified early childhood education instructor for the Head Start program.

For those of you unaware, the Head Start program provides comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families. Basically, it is supposed to give poor kids a leg-up before entering into regular school in hopes of better test grades.

It costs taxpayers $7 billion a year and after 45 years of operations, studies show that it simply doesn’t work.…

Mom Accused Of Cooking Baby In Microwave Won’t Face Death Penalty

SACRAMENTO, CA – Because she does not have a criminal past, the woman accused of killing her infant by cooking her in a microwave will not face the death penalty.

Last year, 30-year-old Ka Yang was charged with torture and murder after her 6-week-old daughter,  Mirabelle, was found dead in her home. Yang told investigators that she was holding her baby when she had a seizure and passed out. When she woke up she said she found her infant dead on the ground beside her.

An autopsy would later show that the baby had died an absolutely horrible death, suffering from the kind of extensive thermal injuries one would suffer if cooked inside microwave like a really messed up Hot Pocket.

It would take three months for police to finish their investigation but once concluded Yang was charged with murder and had her three boys, who were all under the age of 7, removed from her home.

Yang and her family learned prosecutors would not seek the death penalty during a brief hearing on Friday. However,Yang  is still facing a special-circumstance charge of torture that could send her to life in prison with no chance of parole.…

Josh Powell, Two Sons Dead In Apparent Murder Suicide

Puyallup, Washington – As most have learned by now, Josh Powell, the man suspected of killing his wife in 2009, has killed himself along with his two young sons.

Police say that on Sunday, a social worker arrived at Powell’s home with his two sons — Braden, 5, and Charlie, 7 — for a court ordered, supervised visit. Instead, Powell pushed the worker out of the house and locked himself inside with his two boys. A few minutes later, after the social worker had attempted to gain entry, the house exploded.

Three bodies were found together in one of the rooms in the burned house, and while they have not been positively identified, investigators believe them to be those of Powell, Braden and Charlie. Here’s a gruesome update; the bodies were identified as Josh and his two boys. Josh used a hatchet on Braden and Charlie, causing “chop” injuries to their necks, but both boys and Josh died from inhaling carbon monoxide.

The social worker stated she smelled gas shortly before the explosion while Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer stated that Powell had committed murder-suicide, saying the fire “was done intentionally.”

Reports also say that Powell sent emails to friends, family and his attorney shortly before the explosion that rattled windows in the neighborhood.…
