Man Shot And Killed Ex-wife As She Played Organ During Church Service

COUDERSPORT, PA – An elementary school music teacher walked into a Sunday church service and shot his ex-wife while she played the organ. He returned minutes later and shot her again to ensure she was dead.

Darlene Sitler, 53, was seated at the organ during the Sunday morning service at First United Presbyterian Church of Coudersport when her ex husband, 53-year-old Gregory Eldred, walked in through a rear door behind the choir.

According to the pastor, Eldred leveled a handgun at Sitler and then shot her. Sitler fell into the organ pit as Eldred walked out of the church. Witnesses say he went to his truck in the parking lot but returned five minutes later.

Some of the congregation tried to keep Eldred from entering, but Eldred said he had to “finish this” and threatened to kill anyone who got in his way. He then walked over to his ex-wife, who was believed to still be alive, saying, “I got to see if she’s dead,” before shooting at her two more times.

Having had enough of his antics, the members of the church where finally able to subdue Eldred and take the gun away from him.…

Woman Accused Of Stalking Ex-Boyfriend, Running Over His Mother

Austin, TX –  A nut in Texas has been accused of constantly harassing her ex-boyfriend before running over the man’s mother.

Ryan Boyd is a 25-year-old man who got a real taste of the crazy after breaking up with 22-year-old Elizabeth McClain, a woman he had dated for about three years. This turned out to be a big mistake.

On Sept. 17, Boyd went to police to report that McClain was calling him about 20 to 100 times a day while threatening to make his life even more miserable than had they stayed together.

On October 11, Boyd contacted police a second time to report that McClain was now contacting him from multiple numbers on a daily basis. One day she called over 750 times. She was also calling his work number every day from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., and was telling him she was going to break into his house or drive her car through his living room.

On November 11, Boyd contacted police a third time to report McClain had texted him 125 times in a row, was again threatening to drive into his living room, and had driven by his house on several occasions.…

Judge Dismisses Child Porn Charges Against Man Who Filmed His Naked Children

Mankato, MN – A judge has thrown out the child pornography charges field against the head coach at Minnesota State-Mankato after nude videos of his children where discovered on his work-issued Blackberry.

This past August,  police escorted 46-year-old Todd Hoffner off the field days after he turned his university-issued phone to the I.T. department to be checked out. He wasn’t told specifically why until he was arrested days later on child pornography charges over some videos found on his work phone.

The videos in question were of his nude children and investigators found the videos disturbing. They filed charges against him after conferring with the state prosecutor. Hoffner, with his wife constantly by his side, has said he is innocent from the beginning and that the videos were not pornographic. he stated they were just his three kids being silly in front of the camera after taking a bath.

These videos, two in particular that lasted a minute, reportedly show Hoffner’s 8-year-old boy grabbing his genitals and his two daughters, ages 9 and 5, bending over and spreading their asses apart for the camera. After his arrest, police confiscated computers and other equipment from Hoffman’s home but did not find any evidence to support the prosecution’s allegations that Hoffman was creating child porn.…

Israel Keyes, Accused Killer Of Samantha Koenig, Found Dead In His Cell

Anchorage, Alaska –  Israel Keyes, the man who confessed to abducting and murdering 18-year-old Samantha Koenig, was found dead in his cell Sunday morning from an apparent suicide.

Karen Loeffler, the U.S. Attorney for Alaska, held a news conference Sunday afternoon informing the press that Keyes had been found dead in his cell at the Anchorage Jail that morning. They dd not reveal how he killed himself, only that foul play was not suspected and that he was alone in his cell at the time of his death.

Koenig disappeared while working as a barista at a coffee stand in Anchorage. Even with surveillance video capturing Koenig being abducted by an armed man wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap, it took months before police in Texas would announce they had arrested 34-year-old Israel “Izzy” Keyes after he used Koenig’s stolen debit card.

Shortly after the self-employed contractor’s arrest, he would confess to murdering Koening and told investigators where her body could be found. Dive teams would find Koenig’s body trapped under the ice of Matanuska Lake.…

Woman, 27, Accused Of Raping Friend’s 13-Year-Old Son On Multiple Occasions

NORTH HAMPTON, MA -- A 27-year-old woman in Massachusetts has been charged with multiple counts of child rape after being accused have having sexual relations with her friend’s 13-year-old son.

Amanda Wilson has been charged with four counts of aggravated rape of a child after prosecutors say she had sex with the boy at his house while his mother was away and while she was caring for him when his family went out of town.

No word on how she got busted, but the boy told investigators that Wilson had showed him and another boy pornography on her laptop and would threaten to kill herself if anyone found out about the two having sex. Court documents reveal Wilson admitted to the rapes, citing “daddy issues.” o_O

Despite her admission, she pleaded not guilty to the charges while in court on Wednesday. She was supposed to appear on November 14, but didn’t show because authorities couldn’t find her to let her know. Despite the earlier no-show, her attorney successfully kept her from having to use a GPS device that would monitor her whereabouts until her June, 2013 pre-trial hearing.…

Three Teen Burglars Charged With Murder After Accomplice Accidentally Killed

BALDWIN COUNTY, AL – Three teenagers in Alabama have been formally indicted on murder charges after one of their accomplices was accidentally shot and killed.

Three men, William “Nick” Hearn, Lonnie Davison, and Larry Dean Duncan, Jr., were camping with their families on Gravine Island when they heard someone breaking into nearby fishing cabins in the early morning hours on April 15. The men climbed into a boat and went to investigate, encountering Scott Byrd and Dylan Tyree, both 18, burglarizing a home owned by a man the men knew. The two teens were part of a foursome out burglarizing summer cabins.

When the two teens took off running, Hearn fired a warning shot into the ground away from the teens, as did Duncan. One of these shots accidentally struck 17-year-old Summer Moody in the head as she hid behind a bush with 18-year-old Daniel Parnell. Once the men realized Summer had been shot, the men called 911, administered aid, and rushed her to a nearby landing. Summer would live for 10 days before dying from her injuries.…

Teen In Utah Commited Suicide In Front Of His Classmates

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah – A 14-year-old boy in Utah died yesterday after he pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head in front of his classmates.

David Phan was a ninth-grader at Bennion Junior High where he was reportedly enduring bullying. His friends say he was nice to everyone but that it didn’t stop other students from constantly picking on him. After a meeting in the principal’s office yesterday, he left the school with his mother at around 1:30 pm. The school has not released what the meeting was about, but reports are that he was searched for weapons before being allowed to leave.

A couple hours later he returned to a pedestrian bridge near the school and encountered other students he knew who had just gotten out of school. There was a short conversation before David pulled out a handgun he had retrieved from a locked safe at his home, and then shot himself in the head. He was still alive when emergency personnel arrived, but he would die a short while later in the hospital.…

Teen Tutor Accused Of Fondling Young Girl In Classroom

MONROE COUNTY, IN – A 19-year-old tutor is looking at child molestation charges after a 7-year-old student says he molested her inside a classroom at a non-profit school for kids with dyslexia, ADD, and ADHD.

The victim told investigators that in October she was sitting in the lap of Benjamin Haile, a part time tutor at Pinnacle School, while watching a movie in a darkened classroom. She said Haile put his hands down her shirt and into her pants where he ”rubbed her girl part.”  She said Haile had also taken her hands and forced her to “rub his boy part.”

Haile was questioned about the allegations and initially denied he had touched the girl inappropriately, but would later change that statement and tell investigators that it was all just an accident.

He said the girl’s leg was over his arm and he accidentally touched her private part but removed his hand immediately. He also told them he put his hand around her rib to take her off his lap, and accidentally touched her chest. I guess that’s a barely plausible explanation, but come on… you accidentally touched her vagina and her breast in one sitting?…

Man Accused Of Trying To Hang His Girlfriend From Tree In Backyard

Fremont, CA – A California man is behind bars after police say he tied up his girlfriend and tried hanging her from a tree in his backyard.

Police say 31-year old Daniel Howard got angry at his girlfriend so he zip-tied her hands behind her back, and strung a noose over a branch of a backyard tree. After telling her he was going to kill her, he walked back inside to get a cigarette.

The woman used this opportunity to dig her cell phone out of her pocket and call 911. The operator had a hard time understanding her, but the woman was able to relay Howard’s address.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the woman and Howard still in the backyard. The woman was being forced to stand on a barrel with the noose now around her neck.When police confronted Howard, he allegedly used the woman’s body as a shield before pushing her off the barrel and attempting to run away.

Luckily, the officers were able to catch the woman before she was seriously injured.…

Female Body Found, Man Commits Suicide During Search For Missing Woman

SANFORD, MI – A man committed suicide Wednesday when police arrived at his home looking for Leigh Swanson, the 45-year-old missing for over a week, and a female body was found nearby.

Swanson has not been seen since meeting a man online and going out on a date with him on Nov 16. Initially nervous about the date, Swanson went anyway and called her mother later to tell her everything was fine. Two days later, Swanson called her mother to say she would be home in a few hours. That’s the last time anyone has had contact with her.

Police ended up tracing the phone call she made to a home in Edenville Township. When they arrived at the home and approached the front door, they heard a gunshot and took cover. Shortly after, a man came out of the home while on the phone with 911. He told police his son had just shot himself. Police would find the body of a 28-year-old man inside the home. His identity has not been released.…

Teacher, 41, Gets 10 Years In Prison For Having Sex With 12-Year-Old Student

San Antonio, TX – A 41-year-old former teacher was sentenced to 10 years in prison after she got busted having sex with a 12-year-old student in a most spectacular manner.

Lucinda Rodriguez Caldwell had been teaching for 16 years and a fifth grade teacher at Cable Elementary when she was arrested in June 2010. It happened after the father of the 12-year-old boy took him to police to report that he had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by the married mother of two.

Earlier that same morning, the man had woke up to find his son was not in bed and Caldwell’s SUV was parked outside. When the man went to investigate, the SUV took off. The boy’s father gave chase in his own vehicle with both vehicles being pulled over by police 30 miles later.

The driver of the SUV turned out to be the man’s son and Caldwell was the passenger. Police did not arrest Caldwell at that time but turned the boy over to his father and instructed him to call the San Antonio Police Dept.…

Mother Of Boy Mauled To Death By Pack Of African Dogs Will Not Face Charges

Pittsburgh, PA — The mother of the 2-year-old boy who fell into a pit of African wild dogs while visiting the Pittsburgh Zoo, and was subsequently mauled to death, will not be facing charges.

Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr. said that Maddox Derkosh’s death at the zoo was a “tragic accident” and that they would not be charging his mother, 34-year-old Elizabeth Derkosh. However, authorities are still investigating the zoo for possible criminal negligence.

The attack happened earlier this month while Maddox was with his family visiting the zoo. While at the African dog exhibit, Maddox’s mother placed him on top of the viewing deck’s railing. The boy wore glasses and she wanted Maddox to get a better view. And man, did he ever.

Witnesses say that Maddox lurched forward, as if he thought there was some sort of clear barrier to stop him, and ended up going over the rail. After bouncing out of a small safety net designed to catch small items like cameras and phones, Maddox landed 11 ft below and was immediately attacked by 11 dogs.…

Couple Wanted In Connection To Abuse Of Boy Found At Orlando Theme Park

Boston, MA – After two weeks on the run, a couple wanted by police for the alleged beating and burning of a 3-year-old boy have been apprehended at a Florida theme park.

Earlier this month, arrest warrants were issued for 23-year-old  Jessica Linscott and 27-year-old Roland Dow, after Linscott’s 3-year-old son was dropped of at Exeter Hospital suffering from head trauma and burns to his arms.

The couple stated that his injuries were self-inflicted, but doctor’s determined the boy had been abused and contacted police. Authorities gave the couple the option of turning themselves in, but they took the opportunity to go on the run.

It took investigators two weeks, but after countless hours searching combined with tips from the community, the couple were finally located at Universal Studios in Orlando. Marshals spent all day Wednesday in the park searching for the couple, finally finding them at the end of the day just as they had finished watching a parade.

Linscott and Dow were booked into the Orange County Jail, and are being held pending their arraignment on fugitive from justice charges in Florida.…

Man Caught On Camera Making Fun Of Disabled Girl Gets Month In jail

CANTON, Ohio — The man who was filmed making fun of a 10-year-old disabled girl was sentenced to a month in jail, the max allowed, after pleading guilty to menacing and disorderly conduct.

William Bailey, 43, was charged after cell phone video made its way online that showed him and his 9-year-old son making fun of Hope Holcomb, a 10-year-old neighbor girl with cerebral palsy. The two families live next to each other and up until recently, their kids all got along and played together.

Hope’s mother said the trouble started with Bailey’s younger son bullying her daughter on the school bus. “She was miserable she didn’t want to ride the bus, cried every morning,” said Tricia Knight. ”He treats her like crap, and most recently the dad got involved.”

It was after the family called police regarding Bailey’s son and some damaged Halloween decorations in their yard that Hope’s grandmother decided to record any possible retaliation the following day at the bus stop. What she captured was William Bailey and his son walking away from the school bus with exaggerated limps.…

Melrose Place Actress Found Guilty Of Vehicular Homicide

SOMERVILLE, N.J. - Amy Locane-Bovenizer, a former “Melrose Place” actress, has been found guilty of vehicular homicide after her drunk ass killed a woman by ramming her SUV into the side of another vehicle.

Back in June 2010, Locane-Bovenizer had tossed back some drinks at a cast party before tossing down a few more at a barbeque. She then chose to get behind the wheel of an SUV with a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit and wound up rear-ending Maureen Ruckelshaus.

Ruckelshaus confronted Locane-Bovenizer, who she says was obviously drunk, and asked her to get out of her vehicle she refused to turn off. Locane-Bovenizer responded to this request by fleeing the scene and taking out a few mailboxes in the process. Ruckelshaus gave followed behind Locane-Bovenizer for four miles at speeds that topped a whopping 35 mph.

But Locane-Bovenizer saw her chance to put some distance between herself and Ruckelshaus after the car in front of her moved out of the way. That’s when Locane-Bovenizer accelerated to 50 mph and ended up plowing into the passenger side of a car turning left into a driveway.…

Teen Charged With Beating Sister’s Girlfriend On Thanksgiving

MOBILE, AL – A teen in Alabama  has been accused of beating the crap out of his sister’s girlfriend after Thanksgiving dinner, because he did not approve of their relationship.

Even though 23-year-old Mallory Owens has had a rocky relationship with her girlfriend’s family, she told her mother they were trying to be nice and had invited her over to eat Thanksgiving dinner.

Alley Hawkins’s family were trying to accept her year long, homosexual relationship with Owens, but her brother wasn’t having it. Travis Hawkins Jr. had already assaulted Owens once before, when he knocked her upside the head with a pipe wrench. She was injured, but no charges were ever filed.

This latest run-in with Hawkins Jr. ended with Owens looking like she stopped a car with her face. It happened after dinner, just as Owens was leaving the family’s mobile home. That’s when her family says she was blindsided by Hawkins Jr., who delivered a series of punches to Owens’ face.

These punches resulted in Owens being taken to the hospital suffering from multiple skull fractures and crushed facial bones. Aside from being left unrecognizable (warning: kinda graphic pic), she will require facial reconstruction surgery to repair, including having metal plates put in her cheek bones.…

Woman Arrested After She Attacks Man With Knife During Their First Date

Boca Raton, FL –  Most who know me personally, or my current girlfriend, are aware that I like my women with a little bit of crazy in ‘em. They just have a way of making life a little more interesting. But they can also be a bit of a gamble, as one man found out during his first date with 35-year-old Jillian Martone.

When 39-year-old Efren Molina first and Martone first met, they were interested in each other enough to arrange a date to take place a week later. The two must have had a pretty good time together on that date because after the dinner and the drinks, Molina invited Martone back to his place where they reportedly spent “several hours.”

But sometime after midnight, the date, and Martone, went off the rails. That’s when Martone made a comment insinuating that she was now Molina’s girlfriend. When Molina objected to this new title that had been bestowed upon him, Martone became enraged and was no longer able to retain a firm grip on the thin shreds of sanity she uses to get first dates.…

Man Shot Two Teen Burglars, Hid Their Bodies In Basement For A Day

Little Falls, MN – A 64-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after he encountered two teen burglars in his home, shot them both to death, then hid their bodies in his basement for a day.

Byron Smith was at home alone on Thanksgiving when Nicholas Schaeffel, 17, and his cousin Haile Kifer, 18, broke into his home through a bedroom window and made their way down to the basement where Byron was tinkering in his workshop. In response to finding the two teens in his home illegally, Byron shot them both dead. He then left them in his basement for a day before calling a neighbor for a good lawyer and asking them to call police. When police arrived at Smith’s home, he reported the burglary and confessed to shooting the teens.

In Minnesota, it’s perfectly within your right to use deadly force if someone has broken into your home and you are in fear for your life, but police say Smith went too far and that’s why he has been charged with murder.…

Couple Drown And Their Teen Son Missing After Trying To Save Dog

Big Lagoon, CA – A couple have drowned and their 16-year-old son is missing after all three went into the ocean to try and save the family dog.

The family were at Big Lagoon beach Saturday afternoon when their dog got stuck in the ocean after chasing a thrown stick. The teen out went into the eight to ten foot waves in order to rescue the dog, followed by the teen’s father.

The teen was able to make it back to the beach on his own, but once out of the water he realized his father was still stuck out in the ocean. This prompted him and his mother to go back out into the water to help him, leading to all three to getting swept out.

While this was happening, the couple’s daughter called 911. A park ranger made it to the beach after running 1/2 a mile to get there because his vehicle was unable to navigate the terrain. He was not able to go out and help the family because of the high surf.…

Boy Dies After Metal Tractor Hook Impales His Head

NEW ALBANY, IN -- On the same day Nikki Clark impaled herself with a window blind rod, a seven-year-old boy in Indiana died after being involved in a freak accident that left him with a tractor hook impaled in the back of his head.

David ‘DJ’ Elwanger was playing in the backyard last Saturday as his grandfather used a tractor to pull shrubs. The rope being used ended up snapping, sending an 8-inch, metal S-hook through the air and into the back of DJ’s head.

His dad, David Elwanger, said that he thought his son was just messing around when he fell to the ground, but then he saw the metal hook embedded in the base of his skull. He said he pulled the hook from his son’s head, then carried him into the house and called 911.

The boy was rushed to the hospital, alive but unconscious. Doctors did what they could but DJ died the next day. Floyd County Sheriff Darrell Mills says they have closed their investigation into DJ’s death, stating this is nothing more than an unforeseeable,  tragic accident.…
