UPDATE 10/24/08 – Police have arrested 17-year-old Robert Lee Barnes (Myspace) and charged him with killing Meghan Landowski. He was arrested last night after being interviewed by detectives at Portsmouth police headquarters. He has been charged with first-degree murder.

Norfolk, VA – Heaven Kristina Smith, 21, is a fat porker who starved her ten-month-old twin daughters. Miracle Grace Bryant died on Tuesday, April 8, and her twin Heaven L. Bryant is in critical condition. Smith’s babydaddy, Corey Alan Bryant, 21, returned from a three-week deployment on Tuesday, arriving at home just in time to call 911. Now both parents are facing neglect charges, and Smith is charged with second-degree murder. …

San Antonio, TX – A man walking his dog found her body at about 8:30 Sunday morning. Police couldn’t identify her then, saying only that a body had been found on San Antonio’s northwest side. They said she was a woman, between 20 and 35 years old, dead of multiple stab wounds and maybe worse. Just two days later, the woman has a name: Roxanne Diaz. Her murderer is still at large. …

Tulsa, OK – Ashley Lorene Parnell, 25, is accused of murdering Skyler Roininen, the 23-month-old son of her boyfriend, Robert Roininen. Police say that Skyler died of a Jon-Benet sized eight-inch skull fracture caused by Parnell early on the morning of March 27. Skyler died the next day. And of course, Ashley has a Myspace.…

Patalaska, Ohio – Angel Dailey is sixteen. She’s a junior at Licking Heights High School in Patalaska. She has two Myspace pages (Myspace 1, Myspace 2). She looks pretty normal, except for the part about her being arrested Friday on charges of forcing an child under two to ingest marijuana over the last year. A pawn shop owner in Columbus found some disturbing videotape in a camera at the shop. On it, police say, Angel Dailey and her boyfriend Melvin Blevins, 18, are holding down a baby who is not theirs and forcing the child to inhale or swallow marijuana. By the timestamps on the tapes, the incidents appear to have taken place from July 2007 to February of this year. …

Pensacola, FL - Erin Brittany Markes aka Erin Brittni Beckett, 19 ( Myspace ) may be a neglectful mother. Her son Jayden is in the hospital as I write with what law enforcement officers are calling the “worst case of neglect” they’ve ever seen. Jaden, 4, weighed just ten pounds and was near death when Erin Markes finally took him to the hospital last month. The severely disabled child had bedsores from not being turned and an incredibly low body temperature of 91.1 degrees. He had lost nearly half his body weight, reducing him to the size of some newborns. And the medications to control Jaden’s seizures were not in his bloodstream, indicating that he had not received his medicines in weeks.…
