Mundelein, IL – On October 12, 2009 five year old Brian Hernandez died of appendicitis. Considering how painful and easily treatable appendicitis is, I ask myself, how could a child die of it? Oh, yeah, yet another case of crappy parents. Six years ago on December 7, little 2 month old Brian Hernandez’s parents took him to the ER with a 106 degree temperature, a fractured skull, fluid on the brain, a broken leg, and rib fractures. The hospital staff called the police because they suspected the baby had been violently shaken and physically abused. Brian’s father, Martin Hernandez, was arrested. He plead guilty to attempted aggravated battery of a child and spent 18 months in jail. I am not clear on how actually breaking bones and causing brain damage is “attempted” battery or how causing these types of injuries on an infant only deserves 18 months in jail. You can get a longer sentence for dealing drugs. I guess drugs are more valuable the well-being of a child in the court’s eyes.…

But murderers do upset me, especially ones that involve infants in their rage. There are so many better ways to handle your rage or jealousy than to kill. There’s public humiliation, stalking, ruining their credit, having sex with their family members and a whole host of other non-violent legal and illegal ways to get revenge or take your aggression out. But unfortunately, fucks like McKerry Coleman aren’t smart enough to handle jealousy in a more subtle way – so they throw raging tantrums like 3 year old children, except lucky for us, 3 year olds are not strong enough to kill the source of their frustration, while grown men like Coleman are. He demonstrated that on Monday, November 30th, when he stabbed his infant son and killed his girlfriend. …
