In The Mean Time...
When Bryanna Reasonover arrived at the Keysha Keepers home day care to pick up her four children early Friday morning, she immediately noticed something was wrong with her 1-year-old.
“I picked Korey up and I’m thinking he’s asleep and then his face tilts over,” Reasonover said. “I’m saying ‘What’s wrong with my baby’s face?’ I’m thinking he’s still asleep.”
She also noticed teeth marks and bruises on the boy’s face as he was taken to the bedroom of the home’s owner, Keysha Collins. CPR was performed as someone called 911, but Korey never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to Reasonover’s 6-year-old daughter, the children had been left unsupervised for a couple of hours and that Korey had been crying. The homeowner’s 8-year-old daughter decided to take care of the situation and put Korey in a closet and, according to Reasonover’s daughter, Korey was bleeding.…
A manhunt is currently in progress for 37-year-old Steve Stephens, who broadcast himself fatally shooting an elderly man before claiming to have killed dozens more.
In the video, Stephens pulls up to the man as he walks down the road while stating he was going to kill the man. After telling the man to say his ex-girlfriend’s name, he then asks his age before shooting him point blank in the head.
The man, later identified as 74-year-old Robert Goodwin Sr., can be seen bleeding on the ground as Stevens walks back to his car and telling his ex-girlfriend this was her fault. You can watch the unedited video below, but be warned, it is the senseless death of an elderly man trying to shield himself with grocery bags.
Stevens then made several posts on Facebook explaining why he was killing people and, as you can imagine, the reasons make no sense to a sane person.…
The tragic incident happened Friday night as Charlie Holt and his parents were eating lunch at the Sun Dial, a 73-story restaurant at the top of Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel that rotates 360-degrees.
According to police, the boy wandered about five feet from his parents’ table when he got stuck between a rotating portion of the floor and a wall, a space of only about 4 to 5 inches.
“His whole body was caught between four to five inches of space.” Atlanta police Sgt. Warren Pickard said. “His head took the brunt of the injury.”
The floor automatically cut off and staff, along with patrons at the restaurant, immediately tried everything they could to save Charlie.
“The amount of people who were helping was amazing,” Pickard said. “They were moving furniture, they were pulling chairs — chairs that were bolted to the floor — they were pulling them up to try to get the child out.”
First-responders were on the scene within minutes, but Charlie was already unresponsive.…
Malachi Hemphill, 13, had just returned to his room when his mother and sister heard a loud bang. When they ran upstairs to investigate, they found the teen had accidentally shot himself.
“We kicked in the door. We found him just laying there in a pool of blood,” said his mother, Shaniqua Stephens. “My daughter screamed and said, ‘Mom turn his phone off!’ As I proceeded to look at his phone he was on Instagram Live.”
Hemphill was rushed to the hospital where he would be pronounced dead. Turns out Hemphill was live on Instagram while handling a gun when someone watching asked why he didn’t have a clip in the gun.
“As he put the clip in the gun, that is when the gun went off,” said Stephens.
Police are now trying to find out where the teen got the gun. Stephens heard he got the gun from a friend who got it from someone else.…
The abuse came to light after the wife of 44-year-old Joseph Myhre was admitted to the hospital with a broken skull. During their investigation into the injury, police interviewed the couple’s two home-schooled children… and man, did they have a story to tell.
According to Myhre’s 11-year-old daughter, she had been abused by her father since she was around 5-years-old. The abuse consisted of being hit with sticks or PVC pipes, strangulation, having her head beat on the ground until she entered a “dream state,” having her fingers squeezed with pliers, needles stuck in her fingers and toes, and being for shocked with a dog shock collar.
Her 13-year-old brother echoed the same thing, claiming he was kicked in the stomach, hit on his feet with a stick until he bled, and had a dog shock collar used on his stomach and legs.…
According to police, 63-year-old Micki Davis and her 9-year-old grandson went to the home of 35-year-old Rachael Hilyard to pick up some property that belonged to Davis’ son.
And altercation between the two women occurred in the garage, leading to Hilyard attacking Davis with a knife. The young boy ran out of the home and grabbed his grandmother’s cell phone from her truck to call police.
Officers arrived at the scene and checked inside the garage when they couldn’t get anyone to open the door. That’s where they would find Davis’ decapitated body.
They would then find Hilyard hiding inside the home and take her into custody. She’s currently booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on $200,000 bail, facing a charge of first degree murder.
Hilyard has a long history of drug related convictions and, according to a neighbor, looked like she had been “run through a wringer” over the last couple years.…
Police responded to the home of 43-year-old Travis Archer after a neighbor called just before midnight Saturday to report hearing him beating the crap out of his dog.
When officers arrived, they could hear what sounded like Archer punching his 9-month-old puppy. Archer told them he was just discipling the dog for tearing up his house while he was at work.
When police went inside the home, they found torn papers and and CD cases on the ground and a large hole in the drywall where Archer allegedly threw the puppy.
When they went out to the backyard, they found Ponce lying on its side with its head resting against a fence. The dog appeared to have been gagged, say police, and he was bleeding severely from its mouth.
Officers said they also found blood stains all over the fence next to the dog’s body and a bloody knot rope.…
The ass-kicking 30-year-old John Abdo gave his 22-year-old girlfriend happened back in January, when he caused injuries to the woman that State’s Attorney Scott Podhradsky described as “horrific.”
Along with her nose being chewed off, Podhradsky said she had countless “gnawing” wounds to her torso, arms, legs and face. Abdo was taken into custody but allowed to leave jail to go on job interview. He never returned and wasn’t apprehended until four months later.
His trial didn’t take place until this past February, ending with the jury finding Abdo guilty of aggravated assault. Before his sentencing on Monday, Abdo maintained his innocence and said he was “just ready to get it over with.” He added that he and his attorney plan to file an appeal.
Also added to the record was an email from the South Dakota Department of Corrections that stated Abdo had been incarcerated six times previous, and had violated his parole upon every release.…
Police say that in the early morning hours of January 28, a Trinity Express Cab driver picked up Brittany Carter and Cory Jackson, both 23-years-old.
At some point during the ride, Jackson put a knife to the driver’s throat while Carter performed a sex act on the driver. They don’t say what that sexual conduct was, specifically, the indictment only stating she “purposely compelled him to submit by force or threat of force.”
Carter and Jackson fled on foot after they allegedly stole $32 from the cab driver’s pocket. The driver immediately reported what happened to police and warrants were later issued for Carter and Jackson’s arrests.
“We don’t know why she did it,” Findlay Lt. Robert Ring said about the sexual assault. “Maybe it was a distraction because they took money from him.”
Carter was picked up on March 10 and is currently being held in the Hancock County jail in lieu of $60,000 bond.…
When this story was first making the rounds, the mother of the boy was talking about her son’s suicide in hopes it would get other parents to talk to their kids about the dangers of social media.
Katrina Goss did not go into details regarding the motives behind her son deciding to end his own life, aside from saying it was because of a social media prank. Her original statement read:
“My son Tysen Benz was an 11 year old student, athlete, comedian, friend, brother, charismatic and all around amazing child. On Tuesday March 14th he impulsively chose to end his own life as a result of a horrific act of a social media prank which is under investigation by authorities. He clung on with the help of life support until Tuesday April 4th. He has now been set free and can Rest In Peace. He was loved by everyone he knew and he will absolutely never be forgotten.…
I normally don’t post horrible stories from around the globe, but this one out of Spain was too horrific and unique to not report on.
Here’s what I can gather from DailyMail’s incorrect details, as well as Google translating local reports of the incident.
In the mountains of the northern part of Almeria, there is a limestone cave that young people use as a hideout where young people often go to drink, smoke and listen to music. At around 8 p.m. Monday night, 21-year-old Alejandro P., a 17-year-old boy and two girls aged 14 and 12-years-old were inside the cave.
Another group of teens arrived and wanted to go inside the cave as well, but were denied entry. A 17-year-old with a history of setting fires was not happy about the rejection and set fire to a couch at the mouth of the cave to flush the others out.…
According to a statement released by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, Marble called 911 early Saturday morning to report his 13-year-old “companion” had jumped out of his moving vehicle and disappeared.
As the responding officer was speaking with Marble, a young girl covered in road rash stumbled out of some nearby bushes and told the officer Marble had raped her. Marble was immediately taken into custody and the girl was transported to the hospital.
After the teen was treated, she told officers she had run away from home Thursday evening, after an argument with her mother. She ran into Marble at a gas station near her home and struck up a conversation. He offered her a ride, and she accepted.
Marble then drove her to an unknown location in the country, where the two smoked some pot together.…
In the first story, we focus on a 20-year-old coed named Caitlin Nelson….
First responders attempted to clear her airway but to no avail. Nelson was transported to the hospital, where she died Sunday.
It was initially believed that Nelson suffered anaphylactic shock, due to several food allergies, but it has since been revealed that food allergies did not contribute to her death.
Meanwhile, in Colorado….
The Heimlich maneuver was obviously unsuccessful — the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner confirmed Monday that Malouff died from “asphyxia, due to obstruction of the airway.”
Haven’t had your fill?…
The depraved activities of 53-year-old Russ Robinson came to light after he pulled over a 17-year-old boy as he left a Family Dollar.
After the teen pulled over, Robinson allegedly began talking with the teen and told him he’s had sex with two other boys before reaching in and grabbing the boy’s groin.
The teen told Robinson he wasn’t gay and then told his parents about the altercation, who then contacted the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department. When questioned, Robinson admitted to molesting the teen and had molested other minors in the past.
Because Mississippi law does not allow a law enforcement officer to be charged with a crime without a probable cause hearing, Robinson was not immediately arrested and allowed to go home. The next day, Robinson was found dead at his home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Normally, that would be the end of the story.…
Police say 44-year-old Jamie Urton was on his way back to work from lunch when he saw the father of the boy, 25-year-old Jamall Killings, yelling at other drivers.
According to witnesses, Urton was looking at Killings on his driver’s side when the boy was hit on his passenger’s side.
Urton immediately stopped but was attacked by Killings and 25-year-old Deonde Baber through his window. A witness said Urton was “bawling his eyes out” while saying he was sorry.
His apologies fell on deaf ears as either Baber or Killings pulled out a gun and shot Urton multiple times through his door. There still some confusion on who actually did the shooting, with several different news outlets reporting on either Baber or Killings being the shooter.
“He just fell, he just stopped and they kept going at, after he stopped. They kept shooting him,” the witness said.…
Last Tuesday, police were called to a business on a report of an unconscious child in a car. When they arrived, officers found 43-year-old Kristen Herold with 4-year-old Bentley Miller, who was bleeding and unresponsive.
Herold told police she had picked the boy up from a Super 8 Motel where he lived with her son, 20-year-old Keith Lambing, and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Mackenzie Peters.
The couple also has a 4-month-old together, but Miller was not Lambing’s biological son.
Herold said she was taking Miller to his biological father when he fell unconscious. Miller was rushed to the hospital where he would be pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Miller died of severe blood loss due to sodomy, and had bruises to the head, trunk and extremities that were consistent with the boy being forcibly held from behind. He also had a severe burn to his left hand that had not been treated.
Lambing was the only one watching the boy when he received his fatal injuries, and was charged with the rape and murder of Miller.…
The small farming town of La Vernia is getting hit with a sex scandal involving high school athletes after a total of nine high school athletes – seven juveniles and two adult teens – were arrested on sexual assault related charges.
The juveniles that were arrested have since been released to their parents. The two adult teens were arrested at the school and were booked into Wilson County Jail in Floresville.
Police are not releasing details about the alleged assaults, but some parents are talking to reporters and expressing frustration on social media.
One mother said that most of the assaults were primarily within the school’s football team, but that the baseball and basketball teams were involved as well. She said her son and other boys were held down by a gang of older boys, and then had objects forced into their rectums.…
William Dodson, 43, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges after he chained his 15-month-old Staffordshire bull terrier outside before wrapping her muzzle nine times with electrical tape.
The dog “Caitlyn” escaped and was found later in critical condition as the tape had cut off blood flow to her tongue. It took veterinarians at the Animal Society 36 hours to unravel the tape. Caitlyn survived but required multiple surgeries and lost part of her tongue.
According to Charleston Animal Society CEO Joe Elmore, Caitlyn is now living with a new family and thriving, but continued to suffer from anxiety and stress.
Dodson received five years in prison for what he did to his dog – the state’s maximum for animal cruelty. “I wish I could give you more,” said Judge Markley Dennis.
This sentence was handed down a day after Dodson was sentenced to 15 years in prison for a gun charge he got in a 2015 traffic stop.…
