Kristina Fuller, speaking with a reporter from WFLA, claims what started out as a normal Thursday morning quickly turned into a morning of OMGWTF. Basically.
Fuller was in the drop off line at Lakeland High, when an unfamiliar man cut in front of the line of school buses, blocking traffic, and waved her on and out. She waved a ‘thanks’ and went on her way.
After she pulled away from the school, she noticed the man was on her ass. Every corner she turned, there he was.
It was at a red light, she says, that shit took a turn for the bizarre.
“He got out of his vehicle, came up to my window and threw his dog on me. I thought it was going to bite me or something so I tossed the dog back at him. He got back in his vehicle and started hitting my truck, trying to push it into the intersection,” Fuller said.
She attempted to shake the creep, but he followed. And followed. When the woman made a sudden U-turn, dude reportedly jumped a median, blocking three lanes of traffic doing so, and continued to follow.
Fuller then called the resource officer at Lakeland High and informed him that she was returning to the school, in need of help. And still, Creepy McGee followed.
“The officer there was ready and waiting for him, because I said I was on my way, because I thought it was a parent,” Fuller said.
Sweringen was taken into custody at the school. He first tried to convince police he knew the woman, but eventually admitted that he thought she was pretty and wanted to talk to her “at any cost.”
Sweringen is facing charges of aggravated battery for ramming the truck, and also trespassing on school property. Police are looking into another possible incident involving Sweringen, and are asking any other potential victims to come forward.
The dog was uninjured, and probably really confused, and was released to a family member before Sweringen was taken into custody.Tags: Battery, Florida, Howard Van Sweringen, Kristina Fuller, Lakeland, trespassing
