Jessica PriceLOUISVILLE, KY – Police in Kentucky have charged a woman with murder after her newborn was found dead inside a bathroom trash can at a Kohl’s Department Store.

On August 8, police and EMS were called to a Kohl’s Department Store in Louisville after someone there found more than long lines of people buying clothing made by sexually abused women in Sri Lanka.

Inside the store’s bathroom, discarded in a trash can, was the corpse of a newborn. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for the baby and it was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the police report, the baby appeared to be full-term and healthy but died as the result “of an intentional act.”

No word on how the figured out the baby belonged to 29-year-old Jessica Price, an employee of at the store, but she ended up admitting to concealing her pregnancy and giving birth in the Kohl’s restroom. Afterwards, she disposed of the baby and other evidence of the birth.

Jessica Price was arrested on Wednesday and had been charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse. She is currently being held at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
