Jeremy Cramer Pleads Not Guilty To Stabbing, Beating 3 Year Old Son To DeathAnaconda, MT - Jeremy Brent Cramer, 38, pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to stabbing and beating his 3 year old son to death and leaving his body in a field in southwestern Montana.

On July 8th, Cramer’s wife, Nataliya, called police in their hometown of Lacey, WA to report that her husband had left with their son and now she could not get a hold of him.  She was alarmed to discover that he had used his gas card to fill up in Moses Lake, about 3 1/2 hours away from their home, but she did not think her son was in danger, so no Amber Alert was issued.  There was a missing person report and a “be on the lookout” for Cramer and his son.

Later that same day in Montana, Cramer was discovered in a bathroom by a convenience store clerk, washing blood from his clothes and minus a son.   Apparently, he had hitched a short ride there and the man who gave Cramer a ride asked him about the blood on his clothes, to which Cramer responded, “I had a traumatic experience and no one is dead.”  Liar. When they arrived at the store, Cramer held the man’s hand, saying “You are clean,” prayed, and went to the bathroom.

The man told the clerk, who in turn called the police.  Cramer’s story to police was that he had broken up a fight at a rest area.  He was taken into custody at that point after refusing to put his clothes on.  Police found bloody keys, a knife and an empty bottle of generic Adderall.

Jeremy Cramer Pleads Not Guilty To Stabbing, Beating 3 Year Old Son To Death

Broderick Daniel Cramer

While in custody, Cramer requested and was allowed to speak with a representative of his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.   The church president for that region spoke with him for an hour, but Cramer wouldn’t reveal the boy’s location.

The next morning around 6:15 am, Cramer’s vehicle was found on Mill Creek Highway and, not too far from it, was 3-year-old Broderick Daniel Cramer’s body next to a knife and two rocks covered with blood and hair.  The cause of death was blunt and sharp force injuries.

Just prior to the discovery of his son’s body, Cramer made a rambling jailhouse call to his father.  Cramer said that he ran out of gas and started walking down the rural road with Broderick on his shoulders.  His father kept saying Broderick could still be alive, but Cramer insisted that wasn’t so and that “100 percent my son is dead, yes, I did it.”

There are reports that Cramer and his wife were fighting over finances.  He was out of work and wanted to take a road trip to the east coast.  She refused, saying they didn’t have enough money.  Some news outlets are calling this a “custodial dispute” while others are saying there was no indication that the boy was in danger.

One family friend claims that Cramer asked his wife if she wanted to go for a drive on that fateful morning, she said no and so he took their son, which wasn’t unusual.  “He took his son all the time with him on trips and kept him with him a lot,” said neighbor Ed West.

However, Cramer’s brother, Jon Cramer, paints a slightly darker picture.  He says that his brother is a former meth addict and was “doctor shopping” for a prescription to Adderall.  The empty bottle that was found on Cramer at the time of his arrest was filled just 5 days prior with 60 pills, which should have lasted him a month.

Adderall is a psycho stimulant usually prescribed for the treatment of ADHD or narcolepsy.  Side effects of abusing this drug are seizures, hallucinations, aggressive behavior, and paranoia, among others. Cramer is currently in Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Jail on $250,000 bond.

    WHY? Poor poor baby!! =(

  • Jennifer Herrick

Child killers should get no mercy. Do not go to jail, do not collect $200, go straight to death row.

  • WarriorArtemis

I hate this shit. Why didn’t this fucker do the world a favor and off himself instead of robbing the world of what this child could have been is beond me.

  • Texas Ranger

Legalize drugs! No danger when using them in a moderate manner. bullshit…..ok, ok all the potheads attack me now, but that’s not what I’m talking about. You have to have the War on Drugs because if you don’t…it is implicit approval of drug use, and then shit like this is “acceptable” Yep! I’m in a arguing mood today.

  • rensuchan

“Not Guilty” my ass. Sick child killer.

  • Heather_Habilatory

One of two things: Either to get back at the mother, or because he’s fucking whacked (from drugs, or mental defect, or a combination of the two)

  • Heather_Habilatory

This should be entertaining. Sleep… or watch this thread go down?

  • Texas Ranger

    You can sleep tomorrow.

  • Heather_Habilatory

BUT GUYS. IT’S TOTAAAAAAAAAALLLLLY COOL. He gets to repent and go to heaven! He talked to his pastor and everything! he’s SAVED.

  • Heather_Habilatory

Actually, no. My day is booked solid, from midnight, TO midnight… ugh. I’m gonna hate myself on Sunday!

  • Texas Ranger

what in the hell you do for 24 hours straight

  • midniteshadows

I’m getting to the point where after reading and hearing about child deaths repeatedly, that there should only be 1 solution to the perpetrator – Death.

I’m tired about reading lame ass excuses – “I’m mentally ill”, “I was addicted to drugs”, blah, blah, blah.

Nice going Cramer. Setting up your defense ahead of time by having an empty prescription bottle of Adderall on you. Yep. Damn those pills. They marched themselves right out of the bottle, pick up a knife and proceeded to beat and stab your son to death. Oh yeah. You’re absolved of any crime. It was the pills fault.

Do the world a favor Cramer. Just fucking die.

  • Heather_Habilatory

I work tonight from 11 pm til 7 am, then I’m accompanying my best friend on a short road trip to drop off her daughter for visitation with kid’s dad, then I have date night with my hubby.

  • Texas Ranger

Youll be a treat Sat night I’m sure.

  • Heather_Habilatory

    Cheap drunk, that’s for sure.

  • Texas Ranger

Oh. so a normal saturday night then.

  • Pat Dazis

Garbage like this.. they always plead not guilty because in their mind they are not.. it’s HER fault somehow for making him do this..they kill the kids to hurt the mothers..

  • Anthony Mandich

I read that entire story, noting the drug use etc but still couldnt figure out why he killed his little son

  • Heather_Habilatory

  • Merissa Cox

:( hate seeing stuff on you’re page about my state. Sad. Poor little boy. :(

  • Ronnie Krankowski-Mingus

thank you so much for gtiving this atrtention. I and many others here in the area hope this guy gets the death penalty. I will do my best to keep you posted on new developements.

  • rensuchan

Probably because he’s a sick fuck. Just a hunch, though.

  • runawayuniverse

He definitely has a mental defect. He is a mormon.

  • SillyCynic

I’m not sure, either. His drug abuses and financial problems could’ve played a part…or he could have just been a total worthless shit-head-fucknugget.

I’m putting my money on the fucknugget theory, though.

  • Athena

    I’m not gonna bite.

  • SillyCynic

Sorry dear, thump a bible and you’re not ethically motivated to carry morals…or you know, care about your kids’ lives, at all. Gods’ got’em.

  • IntelligentVirtue

OMG, based on the picture I can totally see little Broderick running around his house with his little legs tumbling and laughing and rolling around just waiting to be tickled. Fuck you you shit face son of a bitch.

  • Texas Ranger

  • SillyCynic

“He definitely has a mental defect. He is a mormon.”

Hey now, someone that follows a religion created by a notorious con artist in 1830 doesn’t mean he has a mental defect! Wait….

  • Jessica Stewart

Well if Jesus already died for his sins why should Cramer have to? I mean as long as you’re willing to get on your knees and s?u?c?k? ?s?o?m?e? ?r?e?l?i?g?e?o?u?s? ?c?o?c?k? ask forgiveness, everything’s OK, right?

  • SillyCynic

Since he died for our sins, we better not let him die in vain! I’m gonna go watch this 3 minute video and sin into a sock real quick.

  • Texas Ranger

What a dumass thing to say. So the Pope’s throughout history never conned a fuckin person….oh wait…maybe you two shit heads.

  • SillyCynic

“What a dumass thing to say. So the Pope’s throughout history never conned a fuckin person….oh wait…maybe you two shit heads.”

Yeah, I’m Atheist. The guys a mormon, not a catholic. No need to hate on catholicism when it’s not part of the conversation….Just sayin’.

  • Texas Ranger

Why hate on a Mormon at all? How does that pertain to him being a fuckin meth head and murderer? Don’t be a hypocrite. You can “Just Sayin” that your sorry for a shitty joke that attacked a religion for no reason other than your ignorance.

  • Morbid

Actually, I think he attacked a religion because it is retarded.

  • SillyCynic

    1) He did meth? Where does it say that?
    2) Hypocrite? Wtf?
    3) Shitty Joke? Where?
    4) Let’s just ignore the Crusades then….

Joseph Smith was a known con artist. Joseph Smith founded mormonism, Joseph Smith created mormonism by reading a rock out of a hat in the late 1820′s. I singled out 1 religion, because it’s an ass religion that’s fucking retarded. There’s no hypocrisy, there’s no shitty joke. It’s the truth. Simma downnah.

Edit: 5) Oh, and ignorance? Where?

  • Texas Ranger

Mormons are no more retarded than a bunch of Baptists, Catholics, Athiests, Jews or Muslims.

  • Morbid

So when someone decides to make fun of a specific religion, they must also list every other known religion or you are going to get annoyed enough to call them out on it?

  • Texas Ranger

1)Meth? –read story: Cramer’s brother, Jon Cramer, paints a slightly darker picture. He says
that his brother is a former meth addict and was “doctor shopping” for a

    2) Hypocrite? I guess if your “atheist”, no your not. My bad for assuming you believed. Not saying your wrong for not…got my doubts too.

    3) Any joke making fun of someones religious beliefs is Shitty, low brow, and condescending. That is one thing that I really watch myself on. The only Entity that can say someones Religion is right…or wrong….you don’t believe in.

    4) The Crusades actually prove my point that Christianity as a WHOLE ( no matter the sect) has it’s issues. To single out the Mormons as THE crazy bunch is short sighted and ignorant. All have and have had their shady characters. Watch the con men on Sunday morning TV, begging for money to buy gas for their private jet. Paying off molested kids they cared nothing about until they got caught…

You went there…so will I…Athiiesm is fucking retarded because it’s easier NOT to believe than to have faith in something that a small minded person can’t imagine exists. Instead of Athieism, should be called Ostrachism. ( big fuckin bird who hides its head in the sand)

Oh. I’m not Mormon either….just hate to see pig headed jokes about people that are based on ignorance. that they can Google info on

  • Morbid

I gotcha… it’s easier to know that when you die, you die, than it is to believe that when you die you go to Candyland.

Oh, and all religion should be called Santaclausism.

  • Texas Ranger

    good question…probably not. So you win. My only point is that his religion isn’t the culprit. Pisses me off when yall act like what God he believes in is the cause of him murdering his little boy. THATS Stupid Bullshit I will call out.;
    My apologies.

  • LeaveMeBe

Something doesn’t add up here. Why would the mom call the police if she wasn’t worried about her son being in danger? Dad left with their son, and that isn’t unusual according to her and the family. So why involve the police? If this is the truth, mom is going to suffer so much guilt for not pushing for action. But I have a sneaking suspicion that the police talked her down and made her feel crazy and that is why there wasn’t an Amber Alert issued. If so, I hope the ones who did this to her and her son have insomnia for the rest of their lives and that it causes all kinds of other physical and mental ailments. As for daddy dearest, he needs to trip and fall. Off of a cliff and hit every outcrop on the way down. POS.

  • Texas Ranger

    Focus on living…that’s my religion.

  • Texas Ranger

Sorry Silly Cynic, Sorry Morbid. I apologize for my rant.

  • SillyCynic

“Cramer’s brother, Jon Cramer, paints a slightly darker picture. He says
that his brother is a former meth addict”
Ah, past tense =/= current user.

    Meth head == current user.

2 of my 3 best friends are Mormon, the 3rd being Atheist. We all talk shit to each other. That’s what we do.

And, btw, no one EVER stated his religion led to his sons demise. It was pointed out he is predisposed to mental defectiveness, because he follows something that’s such a blatant lie to only ensnare the completely gullible and naive.

Most Atheists, that I’m aware of, were raised in a church family. I spent 18 years of my life being forced to go to a baptist church every sunday, wednesday, holiday…and every church camp my parents could get their hands on. Ignorantly describing Atheism as “easier to not believe” is ignorant in itself. Get off your high horse. We’ve lost our ‘faith’ for one reason or another, and that has nothing to do with fear, or choosing to hide our heads in the sand.

    My god, dude. Chill out.

  • LeaveMeBe

This is true but the article didn’t state he was a Catholic, Jew or Muslim it said he was a Mormon. Atheists are equal opportunity religion slammers. :)

  • Heather_Habilatory

While in custody, Cramer requested and was allowed to speak with a
representative of his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. The church president for that region spoke with him for an
hour, but Cramer wouldn’t reveal the boy’s location.

We attacked that religion BECAUSE IT’S HIS RELIGION.

  • LuvsHorror

Because she realized he was three and a half hours away. I always check our checking account on line and always know where my hub is. She checked their bank account and saw the gas purchase. I don’t think she thought he was going to travel so far with their son.

  • SillyCynic

” Why would the mom call the police if she wasn’t worried about her son being in danger?”

“She was alarmed to discover that he had used his gas card to fill up in Moses Lake, about 3 1/2 hours away from their home,”

I think her concern stemmed mostly from him being in Moses Lake (awesome place, if you ever get the chance to go there, jump off a cliff and hope there’s sharp jagged rocks at the bottom) when he shouldn’t have been, maybe thought he was just making a run for it and took the kid with him.

With your husband, had he left with your little Owlings…would you have suspected he was going to murder them?

  • SillyCynic

You have such a suave way with your words.

It’s like…keystone light, for my ears.

  • LeaveMeBe

    The first one? Yes.

  • LeaveMeBe

No, I get that. But why call the POLICE? If you aren’t worried something will happen to your kid, why do you call them? That makes no sense to me. You would call family and friends. You call the police to report something. Everyone knows you can’t just report your spouse took your kid out (like he normally does) and you checked your bank account and realized he was 3 1/2 hours away. There isn’t anything inherently wrong or criminal in that. So, I still wonder why she called the police. Which leads to the second part of my comment. I think she WAS worried and she was made to feel stupid for that worry and it led to this.

I guess my comment wasn’t as clear as I thought it was. I think she did the right thing in calling the police and I think she thought something was very wrong and her kid was in some form of danger. Otherwise she wouldn’t have called the police at all.

  • LeaveMeBe

See my reply to LuvsHorror above. I thought my comment was clearer than it was apparently. I tried to rectify that. :P

  • SillyCynic

“No, I get that. But why call the POLICE?”

You make sense, I don’t have any kind of answer for you. Maybe it was an instinctual gut feeling of “oh shit, something bad is happening” that she may have suppressed in hoping to not cause more marital discourse through an overreaction…

People do weird shit, shit sometimes that they can’t even explain to themselves why they did it. …kinda like that fat girl I brought home last weekend.

  • brain_bomb

Here is a list of cases that were said to involve Adderall/Ritalin as well as other anti-depressant; anti-anxiety; ADHD/ADD medications since 2007.

I don’t understand how one day you just decide to kill your three year old son, were there no warning signs leading up to this?… I also don’t understand why when soooo many people snap – they start babbling on about God and their religion… I really have a tough time trusting someone that is overly religious as I feel that they are trying to overcompensate for something morally wrong that they are doing or for something that they may have done.

  • Kara Conner

Wow, what a smug asshole. He should meet with an unfortunate accident, like maybe a starving Siberian tiger is left in is cell.

  • SillyCynic

“…I really have a tough time trusting someone that is overly religious as I feel that they are trying to overcompensate for something morally wrong that they are doing or for something that they may have done.

Like the theory about “the strongest anti-gay advocates are usually the deepest closeted homosexuals”?

75% of the US claims some form of Christian belief. What better way to gain leniency than to set yourself up as a convert from some other ‘satan-worshipping-religion’?

i prefer to think the above religion bashers simply made a typo and actually meant MORON.

    what the hell. gotdamit

  • mean birch

    don’t be a silly cynic

  • BadNewz730

All religions are batsh!t…but Mormonism is so new you can literally look up the bull for yourself. So yes…Mormonism is worse than the other major religions…just as Scientology is worse than Mormonism.

    Deal with it, Mormon boy…

  • Parrot Toes

“Side effects of abusing this drug are seizures, hallucinations, aggressive behavior, and paranoia, among others”

Another side effect is heart palpitations, which could lead to a heart attack. Too bad that’s uncommon and it didn’t happen to this asshole before he killed that poor kid.

  • Parrot Toes

    Get a rooooooom! :P

  • EveryVillainIsLemons

Why couldn’t he start with himself? Bash his own head with rocks and stab himself to death. Why hurt the helpless little kiddo?

  • t0ofIy

i can’t believe they would give him 250k bond. rumor says it was financial problems, lets hope so. that creep needs to stay there until he dies.

  • warwitheastasia

“Any joke making fun of someones religious beliefs is Shitty, low brow, and condescending”
So would saying something like “So the Pope’s throughout history never conned a fuckin person….oh wait…maybe you two shit heads” to a Catholic qualify? (I dunno why u thought he/they was/were Catholic(s) – i.e. Pope-followers – but contextually this is the only interpretation that makes sense)

  • Neon_Gonorrhea

Adderall is nasty stuff. Funny how the pharmaceutical companies and/or script writing doctors face zero liability in such cases. Absolutely amazing..

  • Texas Ranger

I agree…but if he was a run of the mill Methodist…would it have been in the story? That was my issue. Who cares what God he prays too..its irrelevent to the story. He didnt cite his God as the reason for the murder.

  • Texas Ranger

I aint Mormon nor a boy…. But you are ignorant. I will pray for you at the Church of Dumass on St. Badnewz730 day.

  • Texas Ranger

Why is his religion even brought up? “Saw his pastor” is all that was needed.

  • Texas Ranger

Nope… Only used Pope comment to illustrate that all religions, even the “acceptable” have their trust issues to counter his conman statement.

  • Shade

I read the transcript, oh, maybe a week ago, of this guy’s convo w hid father, etc., and believe me, the brother was sugar coating things. This guy was waaaay fucked up when he killed the kid and still was many hours later.

  • Shade

I felt like it was bc that bitch KNEW her fucking man was a druggie and was A ok with it …. up until that day. When shit started going wrong she fucking KNEW he was all tweaky and therefore out of his fucking mind.

  • LeaveMeBe

    Because we’re assholes.

“We’re?” Got a mouse in your pocket?

  • CatAtonic99

    And Scientologists? ;)

  • CatAtonic99

Or Bishop….. or church representative. Or cult leader…. lol

  • CatAtonic99

And Humanism? Your thoughts on that?

  • CatAtonic99

I was gonna say- doesn’t WA have a fairly decent-sized LDS culture? At least in parts? Probably not as cuckoo as Utah, but prevalent enough?

  • CatAtonic99

    Wow. Can I watch? lol

  • CatAtonic99

I think he’d LOVE to use that as his excuse/defense. Doesn’t fly at all with me.
I’m thinking he was 1-trying to ‘get back at’ his wife by killing the boy, 2- was frustrated about not having any more drugs and was having financial/marital issues and ended up taking it out on the boy. I suppose he could’ve had some sort of mental breakdown thanks to the drug abuse and stressors in his life. Still shitty/weak excuses though.

  • Texas Ranger

Humans are cool…I got a lot in common with Humans.

  • JohnQknowitall

It could be all of the above.

  • SillyCynic

I’m see we’ve got enough down voters that find my blasphemy, blasphemous…sa’right, I was already going to hell anyway.

The video? I don’t think Morbid would appreciate me posting a porn link on his site.

  • Buffettgirl

I see you’ve achieved “stalker status’! Whoo Hoo, you’ve arrived!!! I mean clearly, what you posted is SO offensive that it should be down-voted… ;)

  • Buffettgirl

I take Adderall, mind you, I take it the way the docs tell me to, but I promise, I’ve never felt like stabbing my friends and family while on it… If it’s a bad day, I haven’t eaten (side effect of Adderall) and I’m stuck in traffic I might fantasize a bit about rolling the V8 Tundra up and over the fucking Prius in front of me going 52 in the fucking fast lane, but even then, I am able to discern that the punishment is worth the crime. If you abuse anything it can make you bat shit crazy, I’m thinking this guy had a head start on it though.

  • CatAtonic99

Uhhhh no. You ‘sinning into a sock real quick’. lol

  • Buffettgirl

Yes – it’s quite prevalent here in OR and also in WA. There is a Mormon Stake within a block of every high school in the more affluent suburbs. That part kind of creeps me out a little…

  • CatAtonic99

Oh, you’d be freaked the fucked out living near me then! There is an LDS church (not just stake) on practically every block, about 5 temples within a 15-40 minute drive, & housing/renting that only allows “LDS Standards”,etc.

  • Buffettgirl

Damn! Where are you? I live in Portland, OR. We have a rather large temple here too. I used to live about 2 miles away, on a hill that overlooked it, Mom and I being the irreverent types that we are, would refer to the place as Disneyland North when they’d shine the lights on the temple spires at night. Mormonism is fairly prevalent here. I have say that while I personally find the “religion” a joke and Joseph Smith to be a crackpot, they do raise some of the nicest children I’ve ever met. Seriously. I’d say 15-20% of my grade in high school (grad. 1988) was Mormon and those kids never, ever caused a problem. We also had a “daycare” at my high school, it wasn’t for the purpose of providing daycare, parents volunteered their little ones so we could learn proper care and first aid for kids and stuff. The Mormon little ones never acted up like the non-Mormons did!

  • Heather_Habilatory

It matters that he prays to a god, and is a total fuckin hypocrite.

  • CatAtonic99

Haha. Well… I live in Mormonville AKA Orem/Provo, UT. Maybe 10 minutes away from the BYU (Brigham Young University) campus. Woohoo!

There are a lot of “good” kids here that are well-mannered. The LDS teach a lot of good values. The sad thing is that this area is so saturated with the religion and everything ‘negative’ or ‘bad’ is kept “hush-hush”. Reputation is a big deal here- a bigger deal than having realistic expectations.
Far too many kids I grew up with that were forced to go to church (because that’s ‘the ONE, TRUE, and ONLY’ religion/way to live) ended up being severely confused individuals. Few were able to discuss personal struggles, drugs, sex, etc with their parents. Some of the most ‘straight-laced’ kids that came from devout LDS families ended up on heroin. (Ever watch the movie “HAPPY VALLEY”? That’s just a snippet of the issue) I can’t even begin to tell you how many have died from overdoses and suicide :( It became such a common thing, in fact, that every time my mom asked me “Hey, do you know so & so?” I instantly knew they must’ve been in the obituaries. (There were at least 6 deaths just in 2004-2005 when I was abt 23 yrs old)

Too much religious pressure here, whether you’re LDS or not. If you’re not LDS you’re NOT accepted in Utah Valley. (Salt Lake County is a tad more diverse and accepting but you’re kidding yourself if you think Utah separates Church and State lol)
I’ve been told Utah Mormons are different from Mormons in other states. I understand why and what they mean by that, but I’ll spare ya the details. lol “The Bubble” of Utah County is just…. interesting. ;)

  • Buffettgirl

I find the whole phenomenon of Mormonism fascinating. I will say that in 1986 when we drove from Atlanta back to Portland and stopped in SLC for a night I saw more prostitutes there than ANYWHERE else in the world I’d been by then! Thanks for the info, sorry I didn’t reply sooner, I’ve been dueling with acute viral bronchitis since last Friday… I’m winning but DAMN, it’s sure beating me the hell up! ;-)

  • CatAtonic99

Aww. Sorry you’re ill :( Bronchitis is awful! I used to get it all the time when I was younger. Hope you get feeling better soon. I’ve wondered where you’ve been- missed your smart-ass comments ;)

I remember seeing a lot of prostitutes in SLC in the early 90′s. I’m sure there still are some. (there’s definitely sketchy motels on State St.) I think SLC is diverse enough nowadays that they blend in a little better, or perhaps I’m less naive and that’s why they don’t stand out to me.

  • Buffettgirl

Thanks – I get either bronchitis or pneumonia all the time… it sucks! It’s actually been a couple of years since I last had it, I think that’s why it’s been such a bitch to get better this time, I forgot how bad it can really be! Hopefully smart-assed comments will commence soon! ;)
