Brian StickelTHIBODAUX, LA — Police have arrested a 49-year-old homeless man after they say he raped a pre-teen twice in the last couple weeks.

Police were first alerted to Brian Stickel after the victim told their parents they had repeated sexual contact with Stickel, a friend of the family who lives in the woods near-by.

The first time Stickel allegedly gave the victim money and sexually abused the child inside the victim’s home, said Thibodaux Public Information Officer David Melancon. The second time Stickel sexually abused the child was a few weeks later after Stickel lured the victim into the woods on the pretense of showing the victim how to shoot a bow and arrow.

Police found Stickel sitting in front of an apartment across the street from the victim’s home and arrested him. Brian Stickel has been charged with with two counts of aggravated rape and is being held on a $300,000 bond.

So if you think you’re having a bad day, imagine finding out that a homeless man was in your house fucking your kid.
