Police Charge Two Teens, 12-Year-Old Girl With Murder

Durham, NC – Here’s Dreamin’ Demon’s very first article for 2013, and it’s out of North Carolina where police have accused two teens and a 12-year-old girl with carjacking a man then shooting him to death.

The 12-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old Justino Maya asked Johnny Villatoro for a ride shortly before 7 p.m. Friday night. The father of three, who is originally from Honduras, did not know them but gave them a ride anyway.

Villatoro drove the trio to the 2900 block of Firth Street, where they then carjacked and shot him. He was rushed to the hospital after being found lying in the street, but would later die.

Police located the 12-year-old girl and Villatoro’s SUV near an apartment building. The young girl had somehow managed to accidentally shoot herself in the abdomen and leg while inside Villatoro’s vehicle. She was treated at the hospital then placed in a Durham County juvenile facility.

Maya was arrested Friday night and charged with murder. He was placed in the Durham County jail without bond. The 14-year-old was arrested Saturday and placed in a Durham County juvenile facility.

“He was a good man, a great daddy to my family, and I really miss him,” said Villatoro’s 10-year-old daughter.

When I saw that the 12 year girl had shot herself in the abdomen my first thought was – hope she fucked up her reproductive organs. At least then there could possibly be one less dumb ass having babies. She may only be 12 but if she is doing this shit at 12 – a baby isn’t/wasn’t far behind.

I wish I succeed in teaching my kids to THINK OF CONSEQUENCES and to think ahead. And by ahead I mean YEARS from when they take the decision. WTF were they thinking? How is a 12yr old connected enough to sell a fucking stolen car?

I wonder if there’s more to the girls shooting. Could she have been shot by one of the others and be scared enough to protect them? I haven’t read anything else on this story, just read this here, so I’m probably just over-thinking things. I can’t help but wonder the circumstances though.

It seems unjust, it’s literally manslaughter. Just because their age- they shouldn’t get off with anything less. They shot a father who gave them a ride. When I heard the 12 year old shot herself, I felt glad. Karma’s a bitch.

Maybe I didn’t read it clearly but what were the charges on all of them?
