CLARKSVILLE, TN – A woman in Tennessee has been charged after admitting that bad sex was what prompted her to lie when she told police she had been raped by a man she met online.
Lynette Lee, 27, told police that she went on a date with a man she met on Meetme.com, and that after the date the two went to a hotel together.
Lee said that once in the hotel room the man forcibly removed her clothes and then raped her.
Police scoured Meetme.com profiles looking for men who fantasized about fucking albino sea turtles before calling the suspect in for an interview. The story he told police was a lot different from the one Lee had told them.
He said the two did meet on the online dating site, but that it was on their second date that they had consensual sex. He said that they had a good time and even made arrangements to meet again.
Police knew that only an honest man would admit to having consensual sex with Lee, so they called her in for a second interview.
She initially stuck to her original story of being raped by the man, but then said she wanted to drop the charges against him. When asked why she lied about being raped, Lee told police she made up the entire rape incident “because she did not enjoy [the sex] and it was bad.”
Lee was charged with filing a false police report and held on a $2,000 bond.
