Man Kills Friend With A Sucker Punch To The FaceOCALA, FL – A teenager has been charged with manslaughter after he he killed his friend with a sucker punch to the face.

According to reports, 19-year-old Matthew Gunter was in a Walmart when he received a call from  someone who is probably feeling like shit right now. The person called to inform Gunter that his friend, 23-year-old Travis Henshaw, was sleeping with his girlfriend.

Angry, Gunter left the store and drove to a home where Henshaw was staying. Witnesses say Gunter confronted Henshaw by delivering a sucker punch to Hensaw’s face. As a result, Henshaw’s brain ping-ponged around in his skull after his head head hit the side of a door and then a concrete floor.

While Henshaw was on the ground, Gunter stood over him and asked why he slept with his “old lady.” After Gunter fled the scene, witnesses say Henshaw began suffering a seizure. He was rushed to the hospital suffering serious brain injuries and placed on life support. On Thursday morning he was pronounced dead.

Police tracked down Gunter and charged him with manslaughter. He told reporters that he was angry with his friend, but that he never intended to kill him.

This isn’t the only story we have featured on DD involving someone being arrested after killing someone with a punch. Last year we had three that I remember. Terance Dejuan Wilson sucker punched a stranger who ended up dying from blunt force injuries and Ronald Lee Newman was arrested after he killed a soccer coach with a punch to the face. Then there was the case of Tiffany Startz, who was arrested after she punched a man in the neck on a $5 bet, killing him almost instantly.

      Punch first, ask questions later. Not so much the tough guy approach, more like a cowards way of making sure he wasn’t going to get hit back. Some friend. Also, that must have been some phone call if it was able to deliver all evidence needed to make a judgment.

      I can’t be too hard on this guy just yet. When you hear that your friend is sexing your mate it causes emotions that people didn’t even know they had. When I found out that my good friend was sleeping with my then boyfriend I whooped both their asses. I was 19 or 20, like this guy, and at that age people are still quite impulsive.

      My heart goes out to the friends family for their loss.

      I feel odd cause while I know nineTEEN still makes them a TEENAGER, I still feel that since their asses can/are out of High School they are no longer teens but young adults that can completely take care of themselves without any help whatsoever.
      A good friend never sleeps with your mate and the mate is completely at fault. The “friend” is put on instant “fuck this asshole” mode forever.

      I was almost in a similar situation in college with a cheating partner and his friend who knew I existed. I parked in front of the house where the guy who was involved with my friend lived, walked up the walk to his door and stopped. It occurred to me in a moment of sanity that this was a mistake. Later as fate (his) and luck (mine) the guy mysteriously did not get hired for a couple of good jobs. I guess the warning regarding cheating is to be careful who you fuck with.

      Hmm hit first, ask questions later… -_- see I KNOW I have anger issues but I have learned the best for everyone If you ask before hitting….whats worse than letting your furry out but to find out it was let out on wrong person or what not. If the guy had slept with his woman atleast let him know why he is about to get punched…..
