Father Beat Man Who Tried To Meet His 12 Year Old DaughterCOOKEVILLE, TN – A 42-year-old man’s plan of meeting a 12-year-old girl he met on Facebook was interrupted the other night when the girl’s father introduced the man’s face to his fist.

The girl’s father noticed that his daughter had been receiving messages on Facebook from a man he did not know. When he questioned her, she said she did not know him either. The father checked out the man’s Facebook page and found out his age and phone number.

Outraged, the father began texting the man’s phone posing as his own daughter. The man replied back, sent a picture of himself and asked the girl for a picture of her in a swimsuit. He also agreed to meet the girl at Cane Creek Park. When the man got to the park on Saturday, he met the girl’s very angry father instead, who had called police.

By time police got there the two men had already gotten into a fight and the girl’s father had bloodied the 42-year-old man’s nose. The bleeding man told police that “he knew the girl he was meeting was 12 years old and that he deserved what her dad had done to him.”

He went on to explain that he only wanted to befriend the girl because he was unable to have children of his own (to dress in swimsuits). According to the police report, the man said he was only going to meet the girl at the park to talk to her about school and what she wanted to be when he would have no more interest in her she grew up.

No charges have been filed against either man, but police say they are continuing to investigate.

I don’t recommend people setting up their own sting operations and meeting potential psychos at parks, but this story further demonstrates the best way to neuter online child predators by simply knowing what the hell your kid is doing online. If you love your kids and don’t want to see them strangled to death in a ditch after getting butt-raped by a man that tricked them online, then there isn’t a single excuse for not doing it.

It’s still crazy to me that some parents out there, unlike the father in this story, spend more time and effort protecting their credit card info online than they do their own children.

Police need to keep a close eye on Mr. Pervy Pants. His next target might not have an attentive father to protect her from this goon who undoubtedly wants to play “hide the sausage” with underage girls.

  • http://twitter.com/madkins66 Evonne

Good. No charges for the father.

  • tinalib13

I shared this one on FB for all my friends who are parents. Way to go Dad for being aware, and I’m sorry you didn’t get to beat his ass more. Fucking pervert! Hope police watch him closely.

  • Athena

I fully expect charges to be filed against the wannabe chimo. It’s not like law enforcement to let a pervert off the hook just because he got his ass beat.

  • LoKi4778

That perv is probably lucky that the police showed up when they did,, good on dad for having the presence of mind to call police before he met this asshole…

  • Heather_Habilatory

They’re gathering evidence first to make the charges stick. Which is how a proper investigation is carried out.

  • tinalib13

    We can only hope.

  • Andyman

    Pervy Pants. LOL.

  • Tenbux

Problem is that most parents (that I know, at least) are about as tech savvy as an artichoke.
Hell, my boss (father of three) has to have directions to log in to his intranet mail/calendar taped to his desk. For seven years now. His five year old daughter figured out how to operate his iPhone before he did.
And yeah, he shouldn’t have done his own sting. Chucklefuck could have been carrying a gun. Or have friends. Or been a good fighter/MMA guy. Or any other number of things that could lead to dear old dad being in a wooden box. Let the police do the dangerous stuff, folks.

  • http://www.dreamindemon.com Morbid

Being a technological retard is still no excuse as far as I am concerned. All you need is the loginpassword to the kid’s online accounts, or keep the computer in a family area — not their room. You’ll never be able to monitor them 100 percent, but the fact that you are paying attention, and that the child knows you are paying attention, puts you at a percentage a hell of a lot better than 0.

  • RachelAnnPrince

I like this Dad’s approach. Preemptive ass whooping may change this Chimo’s outlook on underage girls. They don’t say “girls of the world aint nothing but trouble” for nothing lol. I’m glad this girl wasn’t actively talking to this perv too many times you read about youg girls running off to their own demise with some yuck face off the net.

  • JGo555

Did he say: “Hi I’m Chris Hansen and I work for NBC?”

  • Eliza Berntsen

I really, really want to say something clever here, but I have spent all day laying down new hardwood floors in my house, so the only thing that my brain is coming up with is “Woohoo, dad!”.

  • AssWho?

    msnbc…

  • Reen B

I’d think that text about the swimsuit would be enough evidence to at least arrest the guy. He was obviously up to no good.

  • curiousalways

that’s how we handle pervs here in TN.

  • Wolf_of_Mars

At least Dad didn’t kill the pervy rat-fuck. Hope the father doesn’t get charged at all, so he can continue looking out for his family the right way.

  • JohnQknowitall

Both men are assholes. The pedophile for reasons that need no explanation. The father because he let his 12 year old daughter have a facebook page (especially without restrictions). If the argument is that all the other kids have one, then I suggest that you watch the South Park episode honoring Paris Hilton (and the introduced toy: stupid spoiled whore video play set). Just because other people let their kids play with matches doesn’t mean you have to do the same (at least without restrictions on the account -dumb ass).

  • lespacino

Actually, unless he said anything explicit about having sexual intentions, he might get off pretty easily. From the write-up here I can’t determine any laws he might have broken. If he didn’t show her nude pics, didn’t request nude pics from her, didn’t ask for sex, or describe sexual activity, and simply asked her to meet him and she complied- as far as the law is concerned no crime was committed. You can’t convict someone based on what you are assuming they are up to, or plan to do- unless there is clear/concrete evidence, such as a convicted burglar hanging around outside a closed building’s entrance with burglary tools. Do I think the guy is a perve? Yes. Do I think he had bad intentions? Yes. Would I love to see him dangling above a pit of starving alligators? Yes. Will he convicted of anything substantial? No. It is not illegal to befriend, converse with, or even hang out with kids. Creepy, yes. Illegal, no.

  • The_Yeti_Knows

If it was my daughter he’d be getting colouring books for Christmas the rest of his sorry life..

Not at all. People dumb enough (and desperate enough) to tween-troll on Facebook are not packing heat or Ninja skills. Give me a break. Its like on Chris Hansen’s Perv-Nabber show…he never catches Dahmer or Bundy or some shit like that. It’s always the low hanging fruit; the pathetic, the weak, the imbeciles.

The dad was perfectly within his rights doing what he did. And dangerous stuff? Cops? Try USMC, try Iraq. This shit’s tiddly-winks by comparison. And it must be satisfying in a way to beat a perv’s skull in. Matter of fact, screw this ‘let the police do the dangerous stuff.’ When it comes to kid-toucher thumping, where do I sign up? Hahaha.

I agree with monitoring kids online. My kids do not own their own computers, we have the family computer set up set up in our living room. There is no privacy.

  • Athena

Oh, I don’t know about that. For better or for worse, online solicitation laws can be pretty loose.

  • tinalib13

You take good care of your own dont you Yeti? We could give him our special brand on the ass if he winds up in jail eh?

  • The_Yeti_Knows

Nope, won’t be necessary, he wont be standing ever again anyway

  • tinalib13

Are we going to cut off his legs?

    YES!

  • Martin Huizing

Sometimes that is all that has to be said, Eliza. Well said at that!

  • Chixdigme

As much as I hate it… I have to agree with your post 100 %. I really hate to do it, but based on how the story ( and your post ) was written, I must agree.

  • derae

I bet when the police check his computer (if he hasn’t already destroyed the hard drive) they will find all the evidence they need.

Hey, my spouse is a parent (some say I am too but the jury is still out) and that man could find porn online with this eyes closed. His internet abilities astound me especially considering that he cannot figure out how to get a glass from on top of the dishwasher and into it.

  • defenestratethis

This guy is, hands down, The Father of the Year, in my book.

  • newstarshipsmell

“how to get a glass from on top of the dishwasher and into it.”

Still trying to figure that one out myself. It’s pretty confusing to me. I usually give up and put it in the sink.

  • newstarshipsmell

Agree with you to an extent, but I still think it takes a bigger asshole to try and bone a little girl than fail to assume the appropriate level of vigilance with new technologies. The internet is a huge ongoing experiment unlike anything else humanity has ever dealt with before and we’re still learning – pedos have been around since the Stone Age.

  • tinalib13

Hmmm yes. You may be right about that one.

  • LeaveMeBe

A couple of months ago, my 18 year old daughter broke up with her jerkassholedickheadfuckerloser boyfriend (finally!) and he became an even bigger prick by giving her number out to his friends (and some random strangers) and having them call and harass her. It didn’t really bug her, mostly she just laughed about it, so it goes to show he didn’t know her at all. One night on the way back from San Antonio, some random dude called and tried to upset her so after talking to him a bit and figuring out what he was up to, she handed the phone to me and I talked to him. He thought I was her and he got pretty nasty/dirty talking with me. I laughed at him and insulted his man-hood, identified myself as her mommy and he hung up, never to call again. After that, I answered when it was an unknown number. Those guys all lost interest in dirty talking when it was me and left her alone. BAZINGA! :)
I would never, ever have set-up a meeting with a perv but I can totally see my husband doing something like this.

  • JohnQknowitall

The point is that I wouldn’t higher either of them to sweep my back porch: one is a sick fuck and the other irresponsible with his responsibilities (e.g., child) that I couldn’t trust him to do what he is hired to do. The internet is not an experiment – we know it is not going away. The father knew the dangers and chose to not to slow the “car” down until his daughter is old enough to make her own decisions (with him as a father, I have doubts regarding the quality of those decisions that will be made by his children).

  • LeaveMeBe

You’d learn him to count to potato, eh?

  • LeaveMeBe

You use a glass? Holy shit, you’re more than half-way trained!

  • newstarshipsmell

My Grampa was always calling me “Trainable.”

  • tinalib13

Just another reason I love ya! Keep up the good work Mama!

  • The_Yeti_Knows

Tina you remind me of a mysterious Hungarian woman who lived on my street… She’d only come out after dark and smelled of sweet vanilla… Thing is, I couldn’t look her in the eye, the hair stood up on the back of my neck. I do believe I was terrified of her, but she always made sure I got the least wormiest apples on halloween, so it’s all good !

  • tinalib13

Hehehe Yeti. You really have me figured out don’t you? I like that. :)

  • The_Yeti_Knows

Let me at em…. I’ll see to it they need an assistant to change their ass bag when I’m done with them.

I know that I am probably going to get yelled at for this, but this is why I am such an advocate for the nuclear family and having children within the bonds of marriage. With two parents in the child’s life, that child has a much better chance of living safely in this world when the parents are proactive and care about not only the child, but each other. Not enough kids have daddies who will protect them from the predators and dregs of society. I have been seeing way too many stories of kids who are left to their own devices who end up dead because the parent(s) are too wrapped up in themselves.

  • http://akemi-mokoto.me/ Akemi Mokoto

GREAT job dad! He should have killed his ass like the other dad did a few weeks ago. Apparently killing these fucking scumbags is the best option seeing as no charges has been filed AS OF YET. I’ll bet both my nuts that they won’t charge him(the pedo-scum).

  • Jeffra Carpenter

I’m just sure you are the perfect parent with perfect children that are gifted with scads of common sense…… Seriously, I have all sorts of limits on my fb account and when some douche likes or shares a photo of some girl naked with a snake covering the naughty bits it still shows up. Dad kept an eye on her inbox, her friend list and every sort of nosy trick he should be doing! Then he whooped the guys ass that was seeing his little girl as a potential fuckdoll! What the hell more do you want????? The world isn’t all sprinkles, rainbows, unicorns and glitter. Sheltering your children from all the evil in the world is a horrible idea. They need real life tools to handle what’s out there. Gullible trusting sheep isn’t what children should be raised as. Try smart, tough, caring, a bit cynical and able to fend for themselves. My children are being raised in this world. Not fairytale fantasy land.

  • JohnQknowitall

Soooo you think that Facebook and vigilantism are good ideas? I chose not to have children because I do not want the responsiblilty, but I do request that those who did choose to have children do just that: take responisbility for their actions and also for the well being of their offspring while obeying the law. Is that too much to ask?

  • TinyCyborg

This past weekend I decided to visit “The Art of Video Games” exhibit in the American Art Museum in Washington DC. I was hoping for original conceptual artwork for classic and indie games, models, stuff like that. Instead I got a lame walk through of the “evolution” of video games and this is where the story gets relevant: I was watching a little video on Minecraft when a mom-type approached me to ask if I knew anything about this game because her 11 yr old son is playing it. She had no idea if it was an MMO (so she didn’t even know if he was playing with other people – which if he has figured out how to play on one of the free public servers – he is), if it was violent, all she knew is “he’s obsessed with it” and I couldn’t understand as I’m explaining while it is one of the best games he could be playing since it encourages puzzle/problem solving and personal creativity without things like extreme violence and hooker-fucking, why the hell she couldn’t take half an hour and sit next to him and watch him play? You’re going to take the time to take him to the museum to visit the Art of Video Games exhibit, but you’re not going to take a few hours and find out the details of something your child is obviously really into and if he’s safe? I don’t have kids yet, but I couldn’t see not wanting to know who they are, what they like, and if they are safe, otherwise what’s the point? You created this thing you can neglect and pretend to like?

  • Jeffra Carpenter

He did do those things. To many people forget that you are to protect your own not leave it to others. I am an EMT and a firefighter many of my friends are LEOs and at the least getting his ass handed to him by pissed off daddy that called the cops so he didn’t go overboard while protecting his responsibilities seems just fine to me and the police officer that sent me this article.

Nope. MSNBC WAS a joint venture between Microsoft and NBC. Hence the MS part. The two have never liked the other In fact NBC bought out MS, so it could regain control after years of what it sees as a bad associations with the far left hosts (Olbermann, Maddow, Matthews, Schultz) and now is Re- badging the network as NBCnews.
