What you need to know is applying a choke hold is like shooting someone with a gun – if the person dies you had best have a damned good reason for having done it.

It seems the lady made a correct choice to me … and in this particular universe it ended well.

I’m glad he choked that baby and did it in plain view of the police. If this hadn’t happen we would’ve SURELY heard how he killed that baby that same day because of “the exwife didn’t want him seeing the baby”.

I agree shooting would have been just fine. I just thought it was weird that they were explaining the choke hold like it was a regularly used technique.

I did manage to view this particular video here at work (somehow) and that is what struck me as interesting to – first the way the reporter mentioned it as a “new” technique,then the way the officer spoke of it. I totally agree with you Gee.

This story scares the hell out of me.A friend of mine’s ex just got out of jail and even though he’s never wanted anything to do with their kid he texted her today to say he was on his way to daycare to see her.This was after he texted my friend telling her if he couldnt have her no one else would ever touch her again.He also spent his first day out of jail stalking her and her boyfriend everywhere. I really hope they got to the daycare first and called the cops.haven’t heard from them yet.
