Michael Plumadore Gets Life Sentence For Dismembering Aliahna LemmonFORT WAYNE, Ind. – I got an update on 39-year-old Mike Plumadore, the man charged with murdering and dismembering 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon last year.

On Monday, a judge sentenced Plumadore to life behind bars. Plumadore plead guilty to the murder last month and saved himself from the Pancuronium bromide and Potassium chloride cocktail he so richly deserves.

A few days before last Christmas, Plumadore was babysitting Aliahna and her 6-year-old sisters because their mother was sick. They all lived in the same trailer park and Plumadore was a trusted family friend who had cared for Aliahna’s dying grandfather who passed away a few weeks earlier.

Plumadore said that the next morning he woke up and found Aliahna missing. This would turn out to be partly true as cops would find the girl’s hands, feet and head inside Plumadores’ freezer. The rest of her was found in garbage bags at a nearby gas station. An autopsy report would reveal the girl had died from blunt force trauma and suffocation.

Plumadore was charged with Aliahna’s murder and prosecutors were going for the death penalty. But last month Plumadore admitted guilt and took a plea that would save him from a lethal injection. In his confession, he admits that he bashed the girl’s head in with a brick before cutting her up with a hacksaw.

When the story was first being reported it was revealed that the trailer park these people lived in had fifteen registered sex offenders living in two dozen trailers. Plumadore was not one of these RSOs, but did have a criminal history that included convctions for trespassing, assault and forgery.

      I am definitely not blaming the mother though she really, like any responsible parent, should have checked the sex offender registry before moving in to the park.

      I realize that the murderer was not a convicted sex offender, but the same ilk attracts like ilk. Poor or not, we have a responsibility to the people, regardless of age, whom we take the responsibility to protect.

      I wonder if she still lives in the same park.

      my friend lives in a trailer park with about 10 rentable trailers -the landlord suddenly started renting to 7 registered sex offenders – 5 of
      them predators (3 or 4 live in one trailer, I think?). she sent her three kids to live with their father until she is able to move. She was lucky enough to have that option. It works out better for the kids , anyway. trailer in Florida vs house in Savannah.

      I do hope that the prison guards let the rest of the prison population know exactly why this guy is there. Maybe they’ll even dismember him after membering him repeatedly in the back door and mouth (and ears and eyes and anywhere else they can shove it). Isn’t it amazing that even convicted criminals seem to have higher morals in cases like these than the justice system. The DA should have rebuffed the plea and really went for the death sentence

      What a creep….if he did or didn’t sexually assault her, at this stage, makes no matter in the fact he definitely killed her….(and I am leaning towards that he probably DID sexually assault her)..
      And why the fuck was she in his freezer? If not something of a keep sake for him…..Good gracious, that sounds horrible even thinking about it…..but I wondered about it just the same.

      Why does pleading guilty get you out of the death penalty? You are saying yes, I did that. So then you just sit in a cell? Why isn’t it, yes I did it, I deserve the chemicals. Ugh. I also think it should be “Guilty by insanity” not “innocent by insanity”. Just my 2cents :)

      This poor baby really didn’t have a change. What would poses these people to let their kids live in an area full of sex offenders when its public knowledge? I understand he wasn’t a sex offender but when 15 of them live in an area with 24 trailers you know you’v got a problem I hope the six year old gets out of that area omg .
