Man Throws His Kids Off Sixth Floor Balcony Before Jumping To His Death

Brescia, Italy – An Italian man solved his unemployment woes by jumping to his death after chucking his two young children off a sixth-floor balcony.

According to reports, 41-year-old Marco Turrini had lost his job at an advertising company 18-months ago and had been having problems finding employment.

Growing more depressed and despondent over lack of income, he reached a breaking point the other day following an argument with his wife that was heard by neighbors.

That’s when he grabbed their two kids, 14-month-old Benedetta and 4-year-old Samuele, and tossed them off the balcony of their sixth-floor apartment. After unsuccessfully trying to push his wife through a window, Turrini jumped to his death.

Turrini died instantly, but his daughter and son survived the landing, only to die later at the hospital.

Turrini had no history of violence, nor did he have a criminal record, but friends and family say he feared losing his wife and his home as his financial crisis worsened. Adding to all of this, Turrini’s father committed suicide last year by hanging himself.

His wife, Natasha, is being treated at the hospital for extreme shock.

this is just a public service announcement :
The few (very few) people WHO SURVIVE throwing themselves off bridges, buildings, cliffs etc report immediately thinking, “OH SHIT!” and regretting the jump On The Way Down.
We don’t know if the non-survivors felt the same but I’m guessing they did.
So if you’re thinking about hurling your soul into infinity consider the regrets of those who went before you.

uh, if you’ve just pushed your kids off, Go ahead and jump. No one will miss you.

Oh man I cannot fathom the grief this woman is feeling. And somehow even more sad and horrific knowing those babies actually “survived” the initial fall for a while without dying instantly…I hope they were not aware enough to know or remember that their father had just done this to them, and all that pain….:( Horrific~!
Selfish bastard could have just jumped first and done the world a favor.

I think I heard it in that documentary film called: The Bridge. It’s about the jumpers from the GOlden Gate Bridge in SF & the camera capturing their moments as they jump. They interview a kid who survived.

Oh God, those poor little babies. I can not even fathom the amount of pain that they went through- like literally- after surviving such landing. May their little souls rest in peace.

I do not feel like commenting on the father, as depression is a terrible illness, and noone knows what they would do in the same situation.

I feel the same- I can’t imagine seeing that and then choosing to fight to stick around. I want to know how he managed to get them both out there and thrown over while she was there. I would’ve been fighting like hell to hang onto them.
