Man Arrested After Plot To Kidnap Ex-Girlfriend As Sex Slave

Hinckley, MN - A Minnesota woman was left to re-evaluate a past relationship after her ex-boyfriend was arrested in conjunction with a failed effort to kidnap her chained up as a sex-slave. Hmmm… Yep. Ending it was probably the right thing…

Jesse Michael Ericson, 45, was charged in District Court on Tuesday after police accused him of contracting with an undercover law enforcement officer to kidnap his ex-girlfriend and hold her as a sex slave.

According to the Pine County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation began after informants told the East Central Drug and Violent Offender Task Force that Ericson was seeking someone to murder an ex-girlfriend. Task force agents arranged a meeting between Ericson and an undercover officer posing as a hit man.

The criminal complaint describes two meetings where Ericson providing detailed information on the woman – including a picture of her, a diagram of her home and information on her movements. Ericson reportedly told the agent he would receive approximately $150,000 for the hit.

“The defendant then wavered between having her killed and keeping her chained up and using her as a sex slave,” the complaint said.

Before anyone starts thinking that Ericson is some international man of mystery and means, the abduction was intended to be self-funded. Ericson was arrested after being captured on audio and video paying a $100 ‘down payment’ for the kidnapping. The rest was reportedly to come from the victim by forcing her to wire her investment accounts to Ericson that he would then use to pay for her abduction.

Ericson was charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit kidnapping and bail was set at $1 million without conditions or $500,000 with conditions. Ericson is reportedly still being held.

Lest any of you singles out there have ideas to pursue the now-still-available Ericson, it is worth noting that he has some other baggage. In earlier and open cases, Ericson faces two counts of criminal sexual conduct, one count of violation of an order for protection and two counts of domestic abuse in Pine County; five counts of domestic abuse in Becker County; and one count of harassment in Isanti County.

News reports made a special note that the sexual conduct charges are considered “gross misdemeanors” – a presumed reference to his personal hygiene. Other than that… good luck you crazy kids!
