Man Shoots Wife In Murder Suicide While Kids Watch From Back SeatKANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating an apparent murder suicide in which a man shot his estranged wife in a car before shooting himself, while the couple’s three young sons sat in the back seat.

On Tuesday, police found 24-year-old Alyshia Alexander and 25-year-old Jedidiah Alexander dead from gunshot wounds in what appeared to be a murder-suicide as they sat in the front seat of a car. In the back seat, covered in blood and covering their ears, they found the couple’s three young children.

Jedidiah and Alyshia got married in 2009, but the relationship was troubled and plagued with domestic abuse according to relatives and court records. The couple eventually separated, but Alyshia continued to let Jedediah see his boys. That Tuesday, she had driven to Jedidiah’s mother’s house to let the boys visit their father.

The three boys, 3-year-old Jedidiah, 2-year-old Jerimiah, and 1-year-old Jaedin, were not physically harmed and our currently staying with their maternal grandmother.

“They think that they’re just spending some time at Nana’s house. But eventually I’m going to have to deal with when they ask, ‘Where’s Mommy?’ I’m going to have to tell them,” Bridget Mitchell said. She’s also asking for anyone in a similar situation to give her some advice or encouragement.

“I would love to know how some other families have dealt with this,” she said. “Just some encouraging words on what people found that work because I have no clue.”

      I’ve never heard of an actual person named Jedidiah before, I thought that was one of those names that went extinct a century ago.

      I’m afraid you’re probably right. My almost 3yo remembers things i’ve forgotten. I just hope they don’t realise the significance of what they’ve seen and can live the rest of their lives not having constant nightmares about it.

       Unlikely, sadly, my boys had a little friend at school with them who watched his shithead father blow his own brains out as a toddler. Despite years of counselling and the best efforts of his mom and grandparents to give him the best chance at a normal, happy upbringing, he still has terrible rage issues and lots of work ahead of him. Not fair, for an innocent kid to be stigmatised as a bully and a fuck- up by other parents who don’t know the background.
       I hope this cuntrag gets whatever nastiness the afterlife has to offer, how fucking DARE he do that to those babies?

      Suicide is such a selfish act. This has caused so much pain all around. And why in front of their children. I would of taken my chances on leaving them at a public place instead of them being in the same “auto” as me and my dead spouse. It’s just terrible all around.

      I am disappointed at how one sided these stories are and the name calling… it takes for a relationship whether it is going good or bad… This Young lady had a role in this too. And since this brother was such a sisters keeper … why didn’t he offer to take the kids since it was so bad and they all were aware that she had a active restraining order. Why with his “real bond” didn’t he know how they met?I saw no blood on the children on the news as they were being carried down the sidewalk. Being that they were married, the young mans mom can equally raise the children if its is such a big burden to Mrs, Mitchell. In addition, please note that having been married more than 20 yrs myself, you go through thing and when doing so if you can say and do things you regret. Mostly its words that do the most damage cause they stick and linger in the mind, making the other think that some where in you , you meant what was said. They say words can’t hurt but that is surely a lie. What was said by this young couple that wasn’t, meant but lingered. Why was she going to his home with a restraining order. If she had one, why not meet at a police station. There is one a few blocks away literally, to exchange the kids. You can only abuse a person (mentally,verbally or physically) so much before they react.We don’t know all the details that led to this sad awful ending … and her family is not the best source, because of course they aren’t going to  allow any negative thing to be said about her , they need her to be the victim when sadly both of them are victims, BUT NONE BIGGER VICTIMS THAN THOSE CHILDREN! Just because she called the police when she wasn’t happy with his acts or wanted him to leave, as we women do!!! Doesn’t mean it didn’t and wasn’t mutual ugly acts and things said. Just something to think about.

I am married as well and it has not been pretty at all so yes, the ugliness can go both ways but the fact remains that he killed HER, and not in self-defense. So that makes her and those children the victims…not him. Fuck him.

      I will  just remind you that she was murdered… I didn’t get from the video the the grand mother was overwhelmed because the expense she was over whelmed at the fact of how she would explain to these kids how their parents died. I can not for the life of me figure out the blame you could  be putting on this woman.

Back up your statements before you talk about a woman who was killed and can no longer take care of her children. There is no PROOF that she did anything to him and until you can provide that it’s pure conjecture. That’s all I initially asked you for was proof of something that you are acting as if you have inside information on. 

      I don’t care what she did in that car, she could have hit him with a stiletto. NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING excuses him killing her and leaving their babies without a mother. Period.

      Very sad, My Grandfather Murdered my Grandmother and then took his own life, my mom was only 4 and had a 2 year old sister and a 6 month old sister, I can see how hard it has been on her ,but as long as these children have some therapy and a loving family behind them they should in time be ok. My prayers to these little angels

      It’s pretty fuggin’ bad when the first thing that comes to mind (and I still mean) is at least he didn’t take the kids with him. But those poor babies had to see that and HEAR that in their face. And he robbed them of both parents in an instance (apparently he himself was no big loss) but anyway. He robbed them of their mother as well.

      It’s quite obvious to me (and others, I’m sure) that you are somehow connected to this man. Be it a friend or family member, there is no possible way you could give his actions any validity. It doesn’t matter if there were hurtful things said and done. It’s quite obvious there was an unhealthy relationship prior to this horrible crime and it’s possible the negativity in the relationship wasn’t entirely one sided. The point is, none of that matters because there is absolutely nothing in this world that could justify taking another’s life and forever ruining the lives of your children. Nothing.
