That link is not valid. Nice try. I looked all over the internet and did not fine a single LEGITIMATE source saying any of the attackers were Asian. Only discussion forums with no proof. Again, I say OBVIOUS hate crime. These kids are all English speaking WHITE kids.

I watched that show. It was so sad. There was one guy who was so fat he couldn’t lay down or he would suffocate from the weight and he was ordering in pizza and shit.

1) I primarily thought the attackers were white due to their round eyes, pale skin, and lack of accent.
2) I then read other articles and admitted I was wrong as the articles said some of the attackers were also Asian.
3) that does not mean this is not a hate crime.
and 4) They are many types of Asian. Not just Chinese. There are a few factions of Chinese as well as a few factions of Koreans. There are Japanese, Taiwanese, Filipino, and others.

So in conclusion, I acknowledge the majority or his attackers were Asian, they might have even been the same race, but I still think it was a hate crime.

My Opinion on this:
I do not think this was gang related. I think that the group singled this guy out because he spoke Chinese as a first language and has a think accent making him an easy target. I do not think this was retaliation for something that happened over a year ago because I think the idiot who attacked him are the type who probably planned that attack the same day if not an hour or less before the attack. I do not think these people have the intelligence to come up with any better lie than it being about “payback” and that is where the cockamamie about payback came from.

If the victim was really one of the attackers in a 20 against 1 beat down there would have been something about it, even if just in the local news. I agree with VXIII that some of what we saw in this video was because of the way kids talk – especially the n-word stuff.  …but a lot of it was simply because they were trying to piss him off.  That’s what people do in attacks.  It’s in the rule book.
