Teen Accidentally Shoots Self While Robbing Elderly ManBATON ROUGE, LA – A teenager robbed an 89-year-old man on Sunday, and was rewarded with the elderly man’s wallet, a bullet to the leg and a trip to jail.

According to police, the victim was washing his car Sunday evening when he was approached by 18-year-old Riki Ingram. The teen demanded money and grabbed for the older man’s wallet.

The man wasn’t gonna let his wallet go that easily and began fighting with Ingram. In response, Ingram pulled out a handgun and fired it into the air. When he put the gun back in his pocket, he accidentally fired it again and shot himself in the leg.

That’s when police say 17-year-old Terrione Booker pulled up in a vehicle and picked up the wounded teen. Police would pull them over later and charge them both with attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery.

      I sincerely hope this is rock bottom crime wise for him & turns his life around.

      Otherwise I don’t think he’ll be able to graduate to bigger crimes since he might take himself out before “achieving” those “goals”.

      Since he fired the gun into the air,then shot himself in the leg when he shoved to gun into his waistband there is no intent to murder here – the police can “file” whatever charges they like to file,but this charge will never see the light of court.

      He’s an older guy – he’s not stupid (apparently),who the fuck’s going to give a random stranger 20.00 of their hard earned money ? Not me,and I have given a couple dollars to street people before,as well as bought fast food for a couple homeless looking individuals. Five dollars,maybe – twenty dollars – they can  “Fuck off”.

      The old guy said in the video the asswipe called out to him and identified Mr. Byrd by his name, I assumed the kid was from the neighborhood and maybe the gentleman recognized his face as a kid from the block. And I believe the old guy had been a high school coach, most coaches are giving people, be it time or a little help.
