Man Arrested After Torturing, Killing Family Dog

It’s weird to me when I read about people my age doing horrible things. I mean, I’ve been alive approximately as long as this guy, but when I was learning things like “don’t pull the cat’s tail, he doesn’t like it”, this guy was apparently learning stuff like “You can pull his tail as long as you tape his mouth shut first.”

What a worthless piece of shit.

What do you do with people like this? He serves a little time. Gets out then rushes on to, oh maybe, hurting children. then adults?

My worry exactly. At 21 he still has a ridiculous number of years ahead of him in which to father children, or future victims.

Nah he will stick with animals and kids they are helpless, people like him do not go up against those their own size

I don’t know.  This can’t have been his first-go-round at harming animals, and that speaks volumes about his mental status.  I doubt they’ll be able to keep him for too long, but he sure as fuck needs to be kept off the streets.  That type of a lack of empathy for another living thing is disturbing.  Fucking gutless prick.  He doesn’t deserve a place in society, which is saying a lot cause we tend to allow all sorts of fucknuts into the club.

I have 4 dogs and a foster right now. Plus 3 cats & a foster mom & her kittens.

That poor thing. I can’t even imagine how painful it would be to die in a hot dryer. I hope it went into shock early and didn’t suffer too long. If it had tape over its nose, the heat combined with that probably suffocated it. The amount of agony had to be unreal. 

Dachshund rescues are overflowing with purebreds in many areas of the country and there are enough responsible breeders already. I would urge you to rethink your decision. I wish I didn’t have to foster, but I used to work in an animal shelter and I want to prevent unnecessary deaths. Dogs and cats are still being euthanized due to space (not health or behavior reasons necessarily), because people are still breeding their pets and others are buying pets on impulse and then passing them to other homes or surrendering them. I am not anti-breeder, but only support breeders who test their dogs for genetic diseases & disorders, breed on a very small scale, and (not or) sell their puppies with contracts forbidding breeding of pet quality pups and stating that the breeder will take the pup back at any point in the dog’s life, for any reason. Responsible breeders are also involved in breed rescue.

Watch for this guy’s name in the future crime blotter under serial murders.

When I read through this, my 5 pound chihuahua foster dog was on my lap. I didn’t say a word, but got so upset reading it that she started shaking (and she isn’t a shivery normally type of chihuahua).

That dirty son of a bitch. This makes me furious.
