Man Arrested After Baby “Immersed” In Scalding Water

Man Arrested After Baby Immersed In Scalding WaterSTANTON, TX – Police have arrested a man after they say he immersed his girlfriend’s baby in scalding hot water.

According to reports, a woman left her infant son in the care of her boyfriend, 24-year-old Dominick Peña, while she went to work on Tuesday. Some time later Peña called to inform her that the boy had been burned.

The woman rushed home and immediately took her son to the hospital. He was then flown to a Lubbock burn unit because of the severity of his injuries. Doctor’s say the boy is in serious condition, suffering from 2nd degree burns to his body.

Peña was arrested and charged with injury to a child, a 1st degree felony, and is being held in the Martin County Jail while police continue their investigation and try to refrain from beating Peña’s ass.

“You just have to think outside of being a human and just think as an officer and do your job according to the law because it’s hard to not be really upset with this,” said Sheriff Woodward.

      Tie him to a stake. Whip out a yer favorite deer skinnin’ knife and start at the forehead and work from front to back all the way down. Once skinned alive, insert knife just above the pubis and slowly slice upwards to just below the rib cage. While his giblets are tumbling to the ground,
      step back, smile and say that’s for the defenseless baby you hurt so bad.

      Too bad there are laws saving this ahole from real justice.

      On the flip side, she sounds like she may be slightly decent considering she rushed home to her son (provided she didn’t stop for lunch first) and got him help.

      Water board him with Boiling water, then expose him to biting itchy insects, make him sleep on a bed of poison ivy, expose him to showers of 140 degrees daily, let the guards ignore his pleas for help as he is made to pay by fellow inmates for what he did to a child…..just do not let him die.  I want him punished for his ewntire sentence up to the last 48 hours daily, then given a fresh pair of clothes, a 10 dollar bill, and a drive out into the middle of nowhere 30 miles from the nearest town, where he is dumped out on the road, and left to fend for himself.  I would release the wolves a few miles away.

      I was away from my 2 yr old Livy to drive to SC to see my firstborn graduate basic and drive him to AIT and my livy was only with daddy, she should be home any minute i can hardly wait!!!!!

      I think you have the right idea but the wrong implementation. See, the harm that he allegedly did to the child is akin to poaching a tomato in boiling water. What happens is, the skin detaches from the flesh so it’s easier to peel. Do the same to this guy — dip him in scalding water then wash him down in an ice bath, and his skin comes right off. After that, it would be punishment enough to just leave him outside somewhere. The natural bacterial count in the air would be enough to do him in over the next few days. 

      That’s why they have to have the baby in a sterile environment because his “second degree burns” mean that his skin has detached from his body and is sloughing away, leaving the boy essentially “skinned alive” in those parts of his body where he was burned most severely. The child is going to have to undergo skin grafts, most likely, that will also hugely affect his self perception and confidence growing up, and probably mess with his growth because the grafts don’t always stretch right.

       Maybe, maybe not. I don’t see any evidence in this article to suggest that. To me, unless I know more of the case, it makes more sense to concentrate one’s anger on the asshole who did the deed. The MOM left work, came home, and took the child INSTANTLY to the hospital. So far as I can tell, she gets a gold star.
