three year olds should not be by themselves, period. I don’t count the five year old as a babysitter, obviously. These parents did a sh*t job of protecting their daughter. And as for me, I have a three year old and she is NEVER outside without me being right there. It’s not impossible. If it seems too much of a sacrifice, don’t have kids.

this is not an unreachable goal- for three year olds to be supervised when they’re outside. It’s more like common sense. But it’s inconvenient for some, I suppose.
