New York Cop Arrested For Sexting, Kissing Underage Girl

New York Cop Arrested For Sexting, Kissing Underage GirlBrooklyn, NY – 30 year-old Kevin Louther, an NYPD cop and youth officer, was arrested and charged in connection to an inappropriate relationship he apparently had with a 15 year-old girl.

The alleged relationship between the two was discovered and reported by the girl’s mother, who discovered explicit text messages and pictures sent to the girl. Police are saying that they do not believe the pair had sex, but that there was some smooching to accompany the texts and e-mails.

The two met through the departments ‘Law Enforcement Explorer’ program which, according to the program’s website, “reaches out to New York City’s young adults in every community to help build up relations between the community and New York City Police Department.” I’m pretty sure this sort of thing isn’t quite what they had in mind. Louther has been suspended without pay and is due in court again this week, facing charges of  sex abuse, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Oh… and his initial bail was set at $750. Just sayin’.

      Age of consent in Canada was 14 3 years ago now changed to 16 two years ago. Should go more how the girl was treated and if total used then go after them hard. If a loving relationship leave it alone

      How in the hell can people be part of a law enforcement agency (or a school system) not not realize before getting caught that sex of any kind with a juvenile is a terrible way to destroy his/her career?

      I think the bail of $750 is probably okay because this guy “was” a responsible citizen before this mess was discovered. He is probably considered a low flight risk. NYC judges don’t fuck around.

      How many years do you give a person for this kind of shit? There are guide lines, but on television I hear sentencing all over the place.

      Mine weren’t finished growing at 15, but they were still impressive. And while I was still pretty young and innocent at that age, some of my friends weren’t.

      He sent dirty pics, which is probably disseminating porn to a minor, and the smooches probably count as lewd and lascivious behavior with a child under 16. As a cop, he should have known this, but I doubt he was thinking with his head brain.

      Some of these guys caught trying to boink teenagers (and women too) have peaked in life. Especifically in high school they’ve peaked. That’s why they wanna date these kids, in their heads it’s how old they feel & it’s the way they think they can have a good time… reliving the memories & what not.
