I had the same thing happen to me! I had my two little pups, and I was driving home (in the hood of course, ugh), and these people cut me off like fuck. I slammed on my breaks and the one pup on the seat hit the fucking glove box! I got super pissed and honked at the guy, of course. So this guy actually pulls over, I pass him like nothing because I figure he’s pulling over for whatever reason. Well after I pass him, he fucking gets right behind me and starts FUCKING CHASING ME. So I’m hauling ass all over these streets trying to lose this fucking guy, scared out of my mind. I’m driving so erratically that I have no way to grab my phone from my pocket to call my boyfriend (who is right down the street) for help, I’m trying desperately to shift, haul ass, swerve, and brake all while holding onto my dogs so they don’t fly everyfuckingwhere. Finally this guy is so close to me that I just slammed on my breaks, he had to slam on his too so he didn’t hit me with his precious douchey Mustang. Then I turned up one way, and he turned down the opposite way. I thought he was chasing to shoot me, and if I didn’t know how to handle my shit in a turbo, he probably would have. I mean anytime there was a straight road, I was swerving on it because I ASSUMED he had a gun and that he’d use it if he could get a good shot. I was taking turns at like 40 mph trying to get away from this guy, and none of the roads are paved so I was sliding around everywhere. It was one of the most horrifying experiences of my life. People down in the valley just do not fuck around.

I actually saw that guy driving the other day, but I didn’t have time to turn around and follow him. I’ve since somewhat gotten over it, since it won’t be hard for me to find out where he lives.

A black truck pulled in front of Mitsakos and he continued to chase it while bullets were being shot at him? Why would he be so stupid as to not make a fast u-turn to the police or some other public area?

The gang members will hopefully get due punishment. The rotting one did the taxpayers a nice favor.

I hate people and their dumb road rage.  Its very bad in NJ/NY. Its actually the norm around here to get followed, tailgated or run off the road (yes run off the road) when someone cuts YOU off and you beep at them.  I take it in stride and let them follow me to the police station, unto which they usually drive away.  I rarely beep at anyone now, because they all drive like crap, and turn signals have become optional these days (unless I am being cut off so bad that my car spins around).  Flipping the bird has become the new wave to say hello.  They have signs posted every few miles to report Aggressive Driving, but its a joke because no one really cares, or does anything.

I’m surprised we don’t have signs about aggressive driving in NM, because we sure have a lot of awful, asshole drivers. It’s not as bad in the heights, you might get a finger or a beep, but in the valley, apparently your ass better say “thank you” after being cut off, or you can count on something like this.

I’ve had lot’s of shitty incidents in this state. Like a guy passing me on the summit after he blinded me with his brights, then slamming on the brakes because he thought I was driving too slow. Some SSNs are fake and others are stolen Athena. Fake cards with fake or stolen numbers are bought from people who make and sell fake documents by the thousands on a daily basis. The federal government has set up E-Verify to check SSNs. It will flag false ones but NOT stolen ones. It is voluntary (go figure), but several states have actually passed laws forbidding businesses in their states from using it. Yes, you read that correctly. Several states have passed laws obstructing the ability of the federal government to prevent fraudulent use of a federal ID.

So when you claim that I’m “ignorant” to this topic, you couldn’t be further from the truth. Illegals are a huge expense for this country. Not only for welfare and medical benefits, but it costs us roughly 70-80,000 per year for ONE of them to be in prison. 27% of ALL prisoners in the United States ARE ILLEGAL. In 2010 our prison population exceeded 2 million (yay!) That said, calculated roughly, we’re looking at a little under 6 BILLION dollars a year spent housing “ILLEGALS” just in our prison system alone.

Lastly, I’ve read your links but didn’t have time to comment on them, as I was cosing my store early today for a Golf outing (which sucked because my cart got stuck in the mud but whatever). Those links didn’t show any statistics of any illegals coming here trying to “make a better life” at all. Am I saying every illegal is a criminal? No. Am I saying every illegal is here on a free ride? No. However, what I am saying, is that illegals are just what they are, “ILLEGAL,” and they need to get the fuck out of my country.

In Georgia our Governor just signed a law very similar to the infamous/famous Arizona law that was noted for being tough on illegal immigrants.   In just TWO weeks the same Governor launched an emergency comission to solve the massive lack of manual farm labor now crippling our states agricultural sector after the mass exodus of cheap labor after we stripped their rights.  Whoops.

As far as racism goes, I have given up trying to not be racist. I don’t discount any of my first hand experiences. From what I have seen, many stereotypes exist for good reasons. A person is a fool to ignore objectively obtained data. Does this mean that everyone fits the stereotype? No, of course not. So I try to give everyone a fair shake. But as far as groups of people go, not using stereotypes can cost you your life.

America is full of people proclaiming to not be “racist”, when in reality they are the worst kind. All we have done is make people hypocrites also.

I am from a farm and after I graduated, I moved to Atlanta and had to drive the north GA 400 every day. Needless to say, I had several close encounters. Almost got into it with a whole biker gang. I was not thriving in the big city, I hated it there. Drivers are 100% more laid back in southern small towns.

Yes, it is *possible* to get around things (you’ll have to excuse me as well for not being so impressed with free or reduced lunch programs being scammed as Americans are scammin’ the shit outta such programs).  However, illegal immigrants are very unlikely to try and access programs that will get them noticed by the government… and they don’t tend to know which those are.

As for the last paragraph – their values ARE the values of this nation.  America was not built upon a language, and ethnicity, a religion… America’s ONLY values are that of freedom and prosperity.  That’s what made us great, and that’s the ONLY goddamn thing that continues to enrich our society.  Every time in U.S. history we’ve tried to quell immigration or punish those of a minority ethnicity, we’ve suffered for it.

Very well said. It’s definitely hard at times not to come off as being racist given the nature of some of these crimes. We’re talking about human lives here, not a buffalo that was shot in up-state NY. That said, it goes for both sides of the fence. You’ve got your typical “White Trailer Trash” that’s just as bad as anything I’ve ever read on here at times. It’s all circumstantial, and I definitely don’t think that making blanket statements about people being racist is ever a good idea. Really? Is that so? they get free cell phones, rent and medical care? I guess once they crosss the border the government just passes them out a cell and gives them a plavce to live, not to mention food, sure they fill the homes with furniture and artwork too along with the best of appliances.Do you have some statistics for that too Andy?  What world are you living in?

I live in a mexican neighborhood, these people get up early, go to work, they purchase cars and pay rent, cant say Ive ever seen anyone around here get evicted, their kids have money for the ice cream man, dont see any gangbangers hanging around, havent seen any domestic violence incidents nor any drive by shooting around here. The only complaint I can say I have is they play their music loud and sometimes more than one is doing it so it can be annoying. They have loud parties for their children sometimes, so thats the world I live in Andy and havent seen anyone getting free cars, they even have to pay for their car insurance too.
