Parents Arrested Second Time In A Year On Meth Lab, Child Abuse ChargesRock Hill, SC – A South Carolina couple have been arrested and charged with meth possession, manufacturing and child abuse charges while out on bond for previous meth and child abuse charges.

David Manny Henson Jr., 38, and his then girlfriend, 42-year-old Bobbi Jo Wulf, were arrested last year after police found liquid meth, marijuana, and a meth lab in the home they shared.

Henson was charged with manufacturing and trafficking meth, and possession of a firearm. Wulf, who was 6-months pregnant at the time, was charged with exposing a child to manufacturing meth.

But you can’t keep a good meth-head down it seems, and on Tuesday, the couple were arrested again after police acted on a tip and found an active meth lab in their home, along with the couple’s now 7-month-old baby.

The reports say that there wasn’t just a meth lab, but also clear evidence that meth was being used in the home. The 7-month-old was taken into emergency custody because of the hazardous chemical smell emanating from the meth making and taken to the hospital to be checked out.

“You want to do what’s right by the kid because the children don’t have a choice in the matter,” Lieutenant Mike Ligon explained.  “They can’t just get up and walk up.  Ultimately they’re at the mercy of the parents.”

Exactly. They could drop this baby off in the woods to be raised by a pack of wolves and it would fair a better chance at living a productive life than if they ever give it back to these two morons.

      Fucking LOSERS! Exposing themselves is one thing but get a babysitter for the kid (s) if you’re going to act stupid.

      CPS workers have limited liability (if any – I think some states shield them from criminal liability). There has to be evidence of some pretty severe, willful neglect or fraud on the part of a CPS worker (falsifying records stating they’d been there, for example).

      Wait, how can this be? If they got busted for these charges, they’d have to have gotten atleast 16months, and this is less than 16months later, and they are busted again??? why were’nt they still in jail from the first bust??? wTf? Is this candid camera!?

      They were out on bond, still awaiting trial on the first case. Let’s hope they don’t get bond this time. Give the kid a fighting chance to grow up in a house where he (or she) isn’t exposed to toxic chemicals on a daily basis.

      I can see why this has to be. I think they are overwhelmed with cases. They can’t make these people fly right, and the ripple of destruction that meth is leaving in its path is just unbelieveable. I really don’t think some of the case workers have even really grasped just how bad it really is. People who are using this drug can look quite normal 5 days a week and 3 weeks a month….. it’s catching them when they are rolling that is the trick… that takes someone else that cares about that child stepping up. BUT CPS needs to listen to those people too!

      so people, it's really no wonder so much bullshit happens in York County.
      they have no idea what they are doing here & they are very selective/shady in who they prosecute.

      I happen to know a young kid (age 19) who died from a methadone overdose in York County all the way back in the early 2000's & the girl who sold him the methadone got 20 years. So i wonder how she got charged in that death when Kevin Brackett says there are no laws in SC to cover that!
