Summer Inman Found Dead In Church Septic Tank; Estranged Husband, Inlaws ArrestedThe body of a 25-year-old mother of three was found dead yesterday, located in a church’s septic tank. Her estranged husband, along with his parents, have been arrested.

Summer Inman was abducted last Tuesday after leaving work as a janitor at a bank. Witnesses saw two men forcing Inman into a car driven by a blonde woman. Coincidentally, Inman’s estranged husband, William Inman Jr., was seen taking his white Crown Vic to a car wash the following day. Hours later, the car was taken to get new tires.

Summer was in the middle of a nasty divorce from William, and told the courts that he had threatened to kill her if she took his children away from him. Feeling they probably had enough circumstantial evidence, William and his parents, Sandra Inman and William Inman Sr., where taken into custody on Thursday. But they weren’t talking. That is, until Tuesday.

That’s when police say Sandra told them where Summer’s body was located. After six screws were removed from a septic system’s cover behind a church in nearby Nelsonville, Ohio, Inman’s body was discovered. She was wearing the same outfit she was seen wearing in the surveillance video captured the night of her disappearance.

“It would appear that she was killed very quickly… the evening of the crime,” Ohio Police Chief Aaron Miller told reporters. He did not provide further details. Miller said that the evidence suggests all three suspects played a role in Summer’s kidnapping, but he would not discuss whether all three were involved in Summer’s murder.

It’ll be interesting to see who gets charged with what in this case, especially since Sandra got smart and is trying to save her ass. ”We did negotiate with Ms. Inman to get information, but I can’t release any details right now,” said Hocking County Prosecutor.

So now the Inamn’s great plan has left three kids without a mother, father or a set of grandparents. Nice.

This is local to me. If the MIL has any sense she won’t WANT to be let out of jail, cause “lynch mob” is a mild description of public sentiment around here. I’ll be bringing pitchforks and torches myself.

Wow! I’ve heard of some creative places to hid a body before, but that one takes first prize. How is it that fucked up people find each other marry, and breed another fucked up person? Is there some law of nature that I’m unaware of?

What the hell gets into the so called ‘minds’ of these people? How the fuck will they explain to the kids in 25yrs that it was necessary to kill their Mom and take their family away from them? Seriously. There isn’t enough pain they could suffer that would come close to making this right. On the one hand, I think – kill them, but no- they don’t deserve to die and stop suffering. But they won’t REALLY suffer – they’ll just be ‘housed’ for maybe 15-20 yrs and released. Stories like this make me want to pinch my head in a vice till it almost pops. I pray the kids have some one sane – maybe Mom’s parents to raise them – Bless the little people, they deserve a shot at a great life

Gee, I don’t get why she would want to leave such a charming family. I wasn’t aware that all of life’s problems could be solved with homicide.

She looks like a sweet young woman, just to be discarded like that in a fucking septic tank. If this Inman SOB and his parents really are involved, I hope they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. They should give William Inman Jr life without parole, send him to the shittiest prison in Ohio, and give him a job cleaning the prison sewer system…with a fucking toothbrush!

I guess we know who won’t be getting the care of the children, don’t we! That side of the family needs to be exterminated.

I swear….I am SO glad I live far, far away from Ohio. What is up with that state? So much weird and bad shit happens there. I don’t mean to offend anyone who lives there or is from there but come on…you have to admit the last few months or so Ohio has cranked out some real winners. The article after this one is about the dude that was glued to the chair with his own”soup” as it was nicely put. Where is he from but OHIO! I’d fucking move if I lived there.

  • Canuck Gramz

That mommy looks so sweet, and happy in that picture. I hope she didn’t have to experience too much pain and fear before they ended her life. What a horrible end, and those poor children. I hope they have other grandparents and family who can love them and comfort them. I hope none of those killers will get out of jail, but it’s probably too much to ask for.

No offense taken, dude. Moving closer to relatives out of state is looking more tempting by the minute.

My point was that most people don’t understand WHY women stay and it is EXACTLY because if things like this. And I would beg to differ with you on which time is the MOST dangerous from the woman’s perspective. When you live it, every moment is the most dangerous. You can’t compress everything into a nice little stat box.

Hind sights 20/20,they only wish they hadnt done it after they have been caught

    [QUOTE]LOGAN, Ohio —
A man suspected of kidnapping his daughter-in-law allegedly told a fellow inmate, “[I] wish we hadn’t done it.”

According to documents obtained by NBC4, an inmate who was housed in the same area of the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail (SEORJ) as William A. Inman Sr. told police the suspect allegedly expressed concern that his wife would say something to police.

Inman, his son and wife are charged in the kidnapping of Summer Inman on March 22.

The inmate said Inman, “at one point received a letter from his wife. [Inman] started crying and said, ‘Wish we hadn’t done it, wish I hadn’t helped my son out.’”

The inmate also said Inman had not eaten since he arrived at the SEORJ.

The documents also allege that during a separate conversation, Inman allegedly said, “[I'm] really worried my wife might say something.”

Another document said the inmate told police that while talking, Inman said, “I’ll tell you what, no matter how hard they try, they will never find her, as long as my boy and wife stay strong.”

The inmate claims he asked Inman, “Who is they?” and that Inman replied, “The cops.” When the inmate asked “Who is her?” he said Inman replied, “My boy’s girl.”

The inmate also said he asked Inman if he killed her and that the suspect, “became upset at him asking this question.”

Eyewitness accounts indicated two male suspects forced Summer into a vehicle outside Century National Bank in Logan at about 11 p.m. March 22.

Investigators found Summer’s body in a septic system on the property of a Nelsonville church on March 29.

The Athens County coroner’s preliminary ruling was that the cause of Summer’s death was strangulation.

Summer’s husband, 26-year-old William A. Inman Jr., 47-year-old father-in-law and mother-in-law, 46-year-old Sandra K. Inman, each pleaded not guilty to a charge of kidnapping and a charge of abduction.

Bond was set at $1 million each. The suspects remain at the Southeastern Regional Jail.
