Drunk Mother Charged With Leaving Toddler In Gas Station BathroomNEW CASTLE, Del. – A drunk mom has been arrested for driving drunk and reckless endangerment after her drunk ass left her 4-year-old daughter in a gas station’s portable bathroom.

Shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police say 28-year-old Jennifer Holmwood pulled into the Valero Gas Station to get gas. While there, she took her daughter to a portable bathroom at the gas station, but returned to her vehicle and drove off without her.

Luckily a truck driver noticed the little girl alone and took her inside the store to try and find her parents. Meanwhile, a motorist had stopped to help Holmwood whose car had broke down. The driver called police after Holmwood informed them that she could not find her daughter and she needed help.

Police were able to connect the dots and Holmwood was arrested, charged with reckless endangering and her fifth DUI charge. Her daughter was not injured and turned over to family members who must be real proud of Jennifer.

      Thank God someone was there to help that little girl.

      Although leaving her was the half best desicion that mom did… she could’ve killed them both. I hope the little girl goes to someone in her family that cares & knows how to deal with little kids.

      Sending any child into a portable public restroom should be considered abuse. (shudder) Hope this sweet little girl gets better care and never goes back to her drunken idjut mother.

      this reminds me of Hannah Jackson’s story…although unharmed, her father left her in a gas station bathroom while he was transporting his baby momma’s lifeless body in his trunk…this lil girl’s mom needs AA badly, a toddler left alone ANYWHERE can be hurt or killed w?out proper supervision…it’s a good thing baby girl didnt land into the hands of a skeevy perv **shudders**

      This parent shouldn’t be allowed custody of her daughter for the sake of the little girl.  Also, why does this woman have a driver’s license – or a vehicle, for that matter, if she has had FOUR DUIs prior to this one?
       
      This won’t end well if this woman doesn’t get her act together.  She has a very serious alcohol problem, like many members of her family, and needs to straighten up.  Her father died as a result of his problems with alcoholism.  Hopefully this won’t be Jennifer or her daughter’s demise.
