Woman Pleads Guilty To Trading Video Games For Sex With Underage Boys

LIVERMORE, CA – Some of you may remember Christine Hubbs. She’s the 42-year-old wife of a prominent California dentist who was accused of shagging the underage friends of her daughter. On Thursday, she pleaded no contest to four felony counts for having sex with two underage boys — one being her daughter’s boyfriend.

In exchange for this plea, prosecutors dropped 63 other felony sex counts and several misdemeanor counts stemming from her driving young boys around letting them shoot bystanders with pellet guns. However, Hubbs is expected to spend five years in prison for her actions and must register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.

Hubbs got herself in a lot of trouble in August after the mother of a 14-year-old boy found nude pics of her on his cell phone. She would be eventually be charged with numerous offenses, including oral copulation, lewd act on a child and exhibition of lewd material to a minor, after police say Hubbs had sex with at least two underage boys starting in 2008.

She would have sex with the teens in hotels and in parking lots inside her Hummer that I’m sure was paid for by her husband. She was also accused of plying the boys with money, dinners, cell phones and video games.

Hubbs could have done less time in county jail, but opted to take an extra year in prison so that she could have regular visits with her husband (!) and three children. She is scheduled to be sentenced on March 25.

According to the original article, she had only been sleeping with the one (her daughter’s boyfriend) for two years, and he was 14 when they started sleeping together. Had to check, because you pointing this out disturbed me a great deal. This is still disgusting and wrong, but at least it was a teenager and not a 12 year old.

Seeing as how mom here has been diddling her daughters boyfriend, which is an act of ultimate betrayal for a parent to do to their child… what makes the judge so sure the daughter WANTS anything to do with her mother?

If some of you don’t think the boys were traumatized then know that this woman’s own children are. One has to deal with knowing her mom screwed her own boyfriends and they all have to live with being known as the kids of that child molester. Plus, when she gets out, if the husband doesn’t divorce her, she’ll be living at home with them. Sure they are safe, but they will never be allowed to have friends around. God I hope all those kids of hers are grown and out on their own before she does get released. Having a registered sex offender as a parent would surely put a damper on a teens social life.

You’re talking apples and oranges when you’re talking teenage girls and teenage boys, which makes it hard to claim double standard. When I was a teenager, I had lots of friends, male and female. ALL of my male friends had rooms plastered with half naked chicks and porn hiding somewhere. NONE of my female friends had such a set up. None of my female friends bet on who would lose their virginity first, or who would fuck the most people by the time we graduated. Such bets, however, were common among my male friends. You can’t call the two situations the same because they’re not. Generally speaking, biologically speaking, teenage boys and teenage girls are VERY different creatures.

Beyond that, though, if you don’t understand the very different dynamic involved when it comes to screwing an attractive person vs. screwing an ugly person, I just don’t know what to say. You’re an anomaly. But, when it comes to post-pubescent individuals, most of us will be reluctant to consider the minor involved a “victim” in a traditional sense when the person they’re screwing is smokin’, female OR male, assuming there’s no evidence of force involved.

The impression I get from your posts regarding this subject is that you believe a minor having sexual relations with an adult is inherently victimizing, and that’s just not true. There are mitigating circumstances to consider… circumstances you seem bound and determined to turn a blind eye to.

The bottom line is that, whether the minor is male or female, it’s wrong… the law says it is, and for practical purposes, I don’t think that should change. But just how wrong it is on a philosophical level varies depending on the details.

I realize that to the minor who is doing it voluntarily, they are not actually being victimized. They will brag about it and relish in it. I understand that. What I don’t like is when ADULTS think it’s OK. It’s one thing for the teens to be OK with it, they are still young and don’t have the same level of thinking as adults yet, which is why we have laws to protect them from pedophiles. For adults to be “WOOHOO! What’s the big deal if the kid was enjoying it?!” To me, it is a big deal. To me, it’s like saying that beautiful people can get away with things because of their looks. It shouldn’t work that way. I realize that it does, but that doesn’t change the fact that it shouldn’t.

I get it though, I do. I was 17 dating a 36 year old. He was 2 years younger than my parents. I realize I was legally of consent, but my brain functioned pretty much the same at 17 as it did at 15. Agreed. The “hotness” issue of it aside, there’s simply something wrong in the person’s brain that wants to act on the attraction to someone under age of consent. Those of us that aren’t virgins anymore can reason logically that such a coupling can only result in disaster, as this “hot” blond discovered, in more ways than one.
