Sounds like they specifically target a white person… It will be interesting to see if they are charged with a hate crime…which I’m sure they won’t.

Meh – I can’t hear the audio – are they making a racial epithets? Usually that is one of the determining factors as to whether or not they will be charged with a hate crime. Usually only white people get charged with such a crime – somehow it seems that other races are exempt from committing hate crimes.

Well, I cannot help but wonder if the tables were turned just what a fuck fest this would be. Imagine the headlines being … “Gang of whites beats two black men” OMFG!!!

Maybe if hate crime laws start being applied UNIFORMLY–to a member of ANY race that perpetrates a racially motivated assault–we’ll start to see this kind of crap decline!

Reddit was all over this story a few days ago. One of the posters there pretty much ID’d who these guys were because of their Doughboy logo on the video they uploaded. Then a lot of people started posting on their Facebook and Youtube accounts and when that started happening, they quickly deleted them. Which to me, once that information is out there, would make finding exactly who these guys are pretty easy.

The victims of this crime are very close friends of mine. I visited them in the hospital long before this video was released. I just want to set the record straight that they never used the ‘n’ word nor would they have said that or anything else to provoke these guys. They’re good, hard working, honest people who didn’t deserve this.

They will get caught and I bet that Sharpton will be out there claiming they are just misunderstood and troubled young men and need help, not jail. Wth ever!!! These shitbags could have killed these two men with this beating. All for entertainment purposes mind you. IMO they are not even men, just thugs who need to be in jail and never get out. If they do this to someone else chances are they may not be so lucky about he victim(s) living through it.

I agree with a lot of what most of you are saying, but I remember plenty of ‘white’ perpetrated hate crimes.

All violent crime is wrong and to promote one motive to an elevated status is illogical. Hate crimes are by their nature flawed and wrong, but it is our failed legal system at fault not minorities which this country has been less than fair to in the past and to deny that harsh treatment because of a failed legal statute isn’t really fair.

Nobody deserves this. We are a nation of laws not lynch mobs. If there was a legitimate problems, we have a legal system.

In case some of you bitter, cracker-ass motherfuckers are unable to digest exactly what the posted statistics are telling you, it’s that minorities – black folk ESPECIALLY – are charged with a higher than proportionate number of hate crimes. “Higher than proportionate.” That means, per capita, a black person is MORE likely to be charged with a hate crime than a white person.

The numbers are out there for everyone to see… to research. I highly recommend some of you do as much, and perhaps you won’t be so unnecessarily jaded. In fact, go visit a prison. Any prison will do. There, you will see that the justice system isn’t the slightest bit hesitant to charge black folk with any and everything they can.

If there are no hate crime charges filed in this case, it’s because the evidence doesn’t support them. Groups of white kids jump black kids all the time, and hate crime charges aren’t automatically filed. In fact, while y’all are looking up numbers and visiting prisons, you should add your state’s hate crime criteria to that list.

Note: This is coming from a cracker AND a hate crime opponent.

Whites out number blacks, hence the term “higher than proportionate”. If the population is 75 percent white and 25 percent (made up percentages to make the math easier) black you would expect to see the same percentage, but we don’t.

Personal accountability has A LOT to do with it. But I do believe you’ve oversimplified it a bit. Minorities are still comparatively disadvantaged. It’s the lower quality of schools in minority neighborhoods. It’s racial profiling (in many states, blacks are as much as 3 times more likely to be stopped and searched than white counterparts). It’s employer discrimination against “ethnic sounding” names. I could go on.

All of this means that black folk can’t afford to fuck up like white folks can… but they do, because we’re all human. This creates a snowball effect in individual lives. More black children grow up in poor neighborhoods and in fatherless homes – not because blacks are more prone to mistakes or bad judgment than whites, but because they get nailed to the fuckin’ wall by their mistakes much more drastically than whites. The system – yes, the system – doesn’t allow them to bounce back quite the same as whites.

The problem faced by poor white trash folks doesn’t quite compare. In both situations, these people do tend to be their own worst enemy, but should they choose to correct their chronic poor judgment, they don’t face the hurdles black folk do on the road to success.

All the idiots in the videos have done is set everyone back even further. These two men who were attacked will probably have a fear in them when seeing groups of black men that they may not have had before. By posting it on YouTube it has reached the masses of fools who look for things like these as examples of “why “they” can’t be trusted” and “why so many of “them” are in prison”. Also it feeds the wanna be thugs their dinner of ignorance and this will be one of those “Awww, did you see that shit Nigga”? videos that will be passed around and shown as if it’s actually amusing.

As a black person I am disgusted by this video, but why shouldn’t I be? I am a human with feelings like any other person should be right? Believe it or not most Negroes, Coloreds, Blacks, African-Americans, mutts, zebras, etc. are all bothered by senseless acts of violence (like the rest of the world) no matter who the victims are.

I’m sure every single person on here has some personal story as to why they could hate another race based on what one person has done but thank God it seems that many of us are smart enough to realize that it’s not the whole race that has done it just that person(s).
