OMG, Shawn Adkins Might Totally Be A Horror-Loving Satanist

Colorado City, Texas - Hailey Dunn, 13, has been missing since December 27. We’ve covered the case here and in our forums, with the usual “oh, Mom’s boyfriend” response. I mean, really. You see a few hundred of these and it plays out like variations on a damned theme every time, right? Mom was high, Dad was also kinda high, mom Billie Dunn met 25-year-old Shawn Adkins online, moved him in, Hailey went missing, and now everyone’s all shocked like this shit never happens and Nancy Grace acts like she’s won the lottery. Again. But now we have affidavits and search warrants and new case data, and the case appears to be breaking. Hailey, at this writing, remains missing, and no one has been arrested or charged in her disappearance. Shawn Adkins is a person of interest.

Now, some Myspace pics have come up that show Shawn Adkins flashing the Evil Devil Sign, and one affidavit lists multiple true crime documents printed by Billie Dunn involving serial killers. There was also some ICP stuff, and also, Shawn Adkins has a Cryptshow account (user name unconscious_mind78) and likes Michael Myers. A lot. A lot a lot. He apparently even bought a mask, and posted feedback on how awesome the Myers mask was on January 6 or 7 – a week after Hailey went missing. Now, none of this makes him guilty, and none of this makes him a cultist or Satanist. There is no evidence at this point that Hailey was the victim of any culty activity whatsoever. Not that pointing this out does any good to the nice people of West Texas. In fact, your favorite imp got the banhammer just for mentioning this site and refuting the hilarious Hailey Was Prey To A Satanic Cult theory over at the Help Find Hailey Dunn Facebook page.

What does make Shawn Adkins a creepy bastard is that he told investigators that Hailey was promiscuous and sexually active without being prompted. Nobody else has said anything of the kind, and it was weird enough that the officer affiant noted how weird it was in the affidavit to search his cell phone. That’s creepy. Shawn threatening to kill both Billie and Hailey in February, but still getting a free ticket to cohabitationville, that’s creepy. Billie and Shawn having people over for New Year’s Eve after Hailey went missing is creepy. Billie and Shawn withdrawing money from an ATM at 6:20 pm on December 27 to buy drugs is creepy. Nobody seeing Hailey after 9:00 pm on December 26 is extremely creepy, and Shawn telling Hailey’s uncle that “killing a child is like killing a deer” is seriously creepy.

Hopefully police, unlike some of these online cybersleuths, are chasing evidence rather than shadows of cultists and horror sites and Hailey will be found and brought home – dead or alive. I just hope that Hailey is found in better shape than Zahra Baker, another recent victim of creepy, horror-loving online white trash nutball child killers.

Do I think Shawn Adkins is guilty? Oh, yeah. I do. I think he was inappropriate at best with Hailey, and a rapist and murderer at worst.

But having serial killer stories from TruTV around, liking Mushroomhead, and throwing up the rock on sign in a Myspace pic does not make one a cultist. Granted, the guy is creepy on his own merits, but if Hailey Dunn is dead, Satan didn’t kill her. Shawn Adkins may well have.

As it happens, I am a tad familiar with cult murder. I know three guys who are doing time for one, and I knew the victim. Hailey’s case is not cult murder. It’s insulting to Hailey to smear her case with the cult brush instead of looking at who really dropped the ball here – Billie Dunn and Shawn Adkins.

Honestly, when I watched the show a few times, I heard callers tell Ms. Grace how beautiful her twins are she did soften about a quarter teaspoon. BTW the twins look like her.

To say that if someone likes horror or metal they must be a Satanist is one of the most asinine things I have ever heard. I listen to a lot of metal, but I also like some of the older country songs thanks to my father. It doesn’t make me a tobacco-chewing redneck with dental problems.

Horror is one of my favorite genres, but I also watch tons of other movies including Disney and Pixar. I guess beings I read the Harry Potter books to my kids that makes me a practicing witch. Those people are in every sense of the word idiots!

Good grief, if something ever happened and they seized my computer, I’d be in for it. With all of the horror sites, true crime, and disturbing reality sites I have bookmarked, I’d be pegged for some sick freak as well. Oh…add in the fact I’m a lifestyle dominatrix and I’m sure I’d get front page news. My parents would be so proud. “You are what you eat” doesn’t always apply. Well…except for my lifestyle…that parts true, but I’m not a serial killer, animal banging, child abusing, corpse raper.

I did watch a clip on Nancy Grace where the mom volunteered to speak. According to the mom, there was an aunt and uncle with their two grandkids in town and they came over to be with the family on NYE. NG was railing her asking if they served food to them and drinks and if the TV was on at all. I see what she’s getting at, but since when do you not feed guests? She said Shawn had a drink, but nothing else was served to family. NG was badgering her to see if they watched the ball drop too. Mom said they were watching the news. I don’t think it matters if you watched it drop. I don’t think they were really concerned with it. I know I’d want family there to be supportive during that time if they were around. Now…if what she said is true or not, I don’t know.

I also have a problem with NG getting on her for drinking or smoking pot or something like that. If I was freaking out about my daughter, and there were other people around to take control for a bit, I might try to relax myself and calm down with some alcohol or pot too (and I don’t even smoke it).

This is the stuff I heard on CNN’s website today. I wanted to respond to the article badly, but I knew it wouldn’t do any good. I am just glad I can voice my opinions here and not be made out as some sort of freak. The bad kind of freak lol.

As of this morning, still no Hailey. I think the investigation is progressing – I’ve heard that Hailey’s back yard and under the house are possibly being searched today. Bit late, I feel, but okay.

Fact is, Occam’s Razor works in this case. The timeline leaves Shawn opportunity from 9pm 12/26 to 6 am 12/27, and again from 7 am – roughly 9:00 am that day. Opportunistic hebephile is opportunistic, and it has nothing to do with movies, metal, or cults. He wanted some, Hailey didn’t wanna, Hailey ended up hurt or dead.

I think Billie heard something during the night of the 26th, and I think she now knows what it was. Her guilt at not getting up, or calling 911, or otherwise protecting her child is causing her to appear guiltier than she is (which is plenty damn guilty all by itself).

And if anyone I know ever goes missing, LE will have a heyday with my computer. Sweet fancy Moses.

Some new images of what appears to be Shawn Adkins getting high on a boat. Facebook users say they are disturbed with what they see.

In a seperate youtube video, it appears that Adkins is holding a giant knife with some type of animal heart in the opposite hand. The text on top of this image includes profanity, but basically says, “If you mess with us…We’ll remove your heart.”

They only found a tooth, skull and femor. He may have cut her up and disposed of her body in dofferent locations but then again we have a lot of wild hogs and coyotes out here so no telling where they drug her bones off to. I just pray that both Billie and Shawn are arrested soon and we see better justice for Hailey than we saw for Caylee, Zahra and many other murdered children.
