Michael Dorch Torched His Double-Wide

November 12, 2010 at 6:56 pm by

Panama City, FL — Michael Dorch is accused of setting fire to his own double-wide trailer because his wife had neglected to clean it. Huh…makes perfect sense to me! I’ve been half tempted to do the same on occasion. According to Michael’s wife, Rachel, her husband got all pissy because she hadn’t cleaned the house, so he threw a match onto the couple’s bed, saying “There’s your house,” before walking out the front door. Police say Michael returned to the scene just minutes before first responders and attempted to douse the flames. Didn’t do much good, though…the trailer was gutted. At the scene, deputies questioned Rachel as to what happened, and after telling her story, Michael Dorch was placed under arrest and charged with arson. Police say the couple has been married for over 16 years, and though they argued shortly before the fire broke out, it was not physical and neither has had any involvement with authorities until now. Rachel reportedly told deputies she feared what Michael would do to her for ratting him out if and when he was released from jail.

I have contemplated using paper plates, cups and plastic utensils before.

I think this man has already been punished enough. He was just trying to teach his wife a lesson and now his priceless collection of beer-mats from 27 countries is ashes…….. 😛

Well I never would of though. Something gets dirty. Just burn it up. I learn something new everyday.

While i understand his reasoning…I too would like to set s match to my house rather than clean it sometimes. I find it difficult to believe that this is the first time they’ve had issues like this and that is likely the reason she is afraid of what he’ll do to her for ratting him out.

I threaten my guys with this at least once a week.
Hell, I might do it if they do not learn to take the damned dirty dishes to the sink and the laundry to the hampers. I mean how hard is that?
No, they hide the stinky socks and crusty dishes under beds or camouflage them with papers and magazines. That way certain rooms always have a slight scent of feet and ass (rotten food), they know that makes me nuts.

I just ask that as a long time member of this site and of the forums, that when I finally freak out and end up on the front page you guys use a good picture of me. PLEASE!

    Thank you.
