Houston Man Shot To Death During Road Rage Incident

Houston, Texas – Houston already ranks in the top 10 “worst road rage cities” in the nation, but after a recent road rage related shooting, they are quickly on their way to taking the number one spot from Miami.

Ted Mitsakos, 49, called his business partner while driving on Tuesday to tell him that a black pickup was chasing him after he honked at them for cutting him off in traffic. He added that he did not think this was gonna end well, a prediction that would come to fruition after the two occupants in the black pickup leaned out of their doors and began firing at Mitsakos.

Witnesses say at least eight shots were fired as Mitsakos frantically called 911 for help. But it wouldn’t matter as one of the gunman’s bullets struck Mitsakos in the head causing him to lose control of his truck. He struck an SUV before plowing through the apartment of Tony Perez, who was not seriously injured.

“I was showering like three minutes before, and my shower is right there where the truck is,” Perez said. “My shower is not there anymore.”

Witnesses described a black pickup being driven by two light-skinned black or dark-skinned Hispanic males but so far no suspects have been identified. ”We don’t have any license plate or suspect names yet,” said Houston Police Sgt. Chris Cegielski.

I have had a guy pull a gun on me and my kids in a fit of rage just like this. My boyfriend honked at him because he swerved into our lane almost side swiping us.. then of course we have to stop for a red light. This man pulls up beside us and shows us the gun yells something some cuss words at us.. I was terrified I knew if she started shooting I had no way to protect myself or my kids. Thank god the guy felt just showing the gun was good enough. I for one would love to know why some people feel they are never in the wrong and are willing to kill just because somebody calls them out.

Can anyone please tell me why cameras on cars aren’t like mandatory by now????? seriously….most of this crap could be avoided if people knew they were being recorded. And why is it so hard to purchase a camera for a car?????

Who are these people that get into a pants-shitting rage when someone honks at them, and how much danger am I in by flipping the bird once in a while? Granted, I live in a podunk little town, but I think the guns-per-capita ratio is probably about the same.I can’t even imagine being in my car, driving down the road, realizing I’m being tailed by some punk-asses, then having them start shooting. Motherfuckers know you’re in an enclosed space and can’t get away except by driving, and when you’re being shot at, fancy evasive maneuvers don’t quite cross your mind, no matter what happens in the movies.Is getting honked at that much of an insult?ETA: It might have had to do with -two- dudes in the truck… one dude might let it go, but you don’t want to look like a pussy in front of your friend. It’s fucking senseless either way. UGH.
