Police: Doctor Apologized For Performing Oral On Patient While Treating Her Pelvic Injury

OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. – A 38-year-old patient accused her doctor of sexually assaulting her last week, She claims that she while Dr. Ashok Alur was treating her for a pelvic injury, he began performing oral sex on her. The report stated, “While he was treating her, he pushed her pants and underwear down and performed oral sex on her. She told him to stop and had to push him away.” He was subsequently arrested and charged with first-degree sodomy. According to police records, Dr. Alur admitted to the assault and claims that “He was distracted and tempted and that caused him to do this.” He told police that the kiss to make it better lasted “30 seconds to one minute” (which if true, indicates the victim has quite the vagina to vocal chord delay) and told police he was sorry for the incident. He was free from jail after posting a $50,000 cash bond. One of his patients refuses to believe the charges (before it was reported he admitted to them), stating that Alur has been in her vagina multiple times and nothing sexual ever became of it. “He’s done Pap smears on me, pelvic exams on me. He is no way, shape or form never done nothing. No kind of touching, only an exam, and I will trust him until I die,” Burgan said. Alur is like that joke come to life: ”Listen, dear. I know this must be scary for you,” said the doctor. “Do you want me to give you some thing to numb you down there?” The girl doesn’t say anything, but just nods her head yes. So the doctor removes her underwear, puts his mouth in her crotch. ”Numb, numb, numb, numb, numb...“

I was thinking about how the other patient refused to believe it because the doctor had never abused her. It would be interesting to know whether this other patient had the face of a dog and the body of Jabba the Hutt? Maybe he doesn’t like the way she groomed (or didn’t groom) down there. It astounds me that someone wouldn’t believe something just because they had never been victimized by the perpetrator. There doesn’t HAVE to be. The patient can request one or the doctor can bring one in for his own well-being, but I had a male OBGYN who I trusted a great deal for a while and it never even occurred to me to request a nurse, and he never brought one in… and I was never victimized.
