On his facebook page, if you go back to about June or so, there are some pics (83 in all). Several of the little girl, who looks very happy, sweet and pretty. Many of his postings are about his baby, I think — Amberly. Since the abuse started in June, I’m thinking the girl must have come home with some bad grades. Of course, now he and the step-monster have a new girl, maybe the old girl is no longer so attractive to them.

Having them live in such fear they empty their bowels in their pants? I don’t understand how can someone single out a particular child of all of theirs and abuse it while do nothing to the others… eventually they get the others in to abuse the particular child too…

That happens in some cases, for sure. But considering that it seems to be Miller who doled out all the abuse, I think a more likely theory, if anything, would be that he was abusing the GF, too. Gotta realize that it’s the child’s statements to police about who starved her, shackled her, and hit her in the head (etc) that the cops are going by: Daddy Dearest. I’m assuming that the 11 year old was Miller’s daughter from a previous marriage and the 1 year old was the child of him and the GF. As for the 12 year old, who knows? How awful for this child to be living like this, going to school each day afraid to come home. And not great for the 12 year old who witnessed it all, either. I hope Miller (and the GF, unless she was being very severely abused) mysterious break their goddamn necks while in custody. And I hope the children have someone decent to take care of them, hopefully without separating them.

I think this depends a little on the timing. From some of the other posts, it sounds like this shit started after school let out for the summer. If this is the case she started back up with a new teacher who wouldn’t have been aware of the weight loss or any behavior changes, just saw a scrawny kid. There might have been a report the day she showed up with bruises, which could have been the first week or two of the school year (does anyone know when Louisiana schools start?). Of course, if they were aware of a problem and ignored it, I wholeheartedly agree with you.

I wonder what “story” could possibly explain such treatment. No matter what a child has done, they do not deserve to be treated like that. This chick is a F&*@ing evil loser. She shoulld have all the children taken and never have a child near her or her A$$hole boyfriend. (Since we can’t just kill them and rid our society of the filth that they are)

Woman Accused of Abusing 11-year-old Girl
LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) – Detectives booked a 32-year-old Holden woman Thursday with two additional criminal counts in a child abuse case involving an 11-year-old girl, Jason Ard, Chief of Operations for the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
The investigation has indicated that Lisa Faber didn’t just know about the shackling of the child to a desk, but was involved in it, Ard said.
Faber was arrested Tuesday night along with the child’s father.
At that time, Faber was booked as a principal to second-degree cruelty to a juvenile and as a principal to false imprisonment.
Thursday afternoon, detectives additionally booked Faber with cruelty to a juvenile and false imprisonment, and her bond was increased from $100,000 to $155,000, Ard said.
Deputies arrested and booked Donald E. Miller III, 33, on counts of second-degree battery on a juvenile, cruelty to a juvenile, false imprisonment and aggravated battery of a juvenile.
The child’s leg had been shackled to a desk, where she was sometimes left overnight, for what the father asserted were disciplinary issues, Ard said.
The child was released in the mornings to go to school, Ard said.
A medical examination of the girl showed she weighed only 56 pounds at the time of her father’s arrest. Her weight indicated malnourishment, the sheriff’s office reported.
Child protection officials removed the girl and two other children ages 10 months and 12 years from the family’s residence, Ard said.

There is much, much more to the story than any of you could ever know! They’re not releasing everything to the media, like the fact that when they first moved down here, she was deamed a pathological liar and schizophrenic all because of what her “real” mom did in front of her. Now, she should get some of the blame, but oh wait, she can’t, because she commited suicide in front of her when she was very young. What the fuck do you have to say about that? Now, I’m not condoning in any way, shape, or form what was done or what has happened to this child, in no way at all. But before you begin passing judgement on anyone, make sure that you do know the entire story, because there’s a whole lot more that has gone on than what the news media is leading you to believe. As far as the teachers go, they’ve been watching her since the third grade because she was hurting herself, even at school. That’s the reason she had to begin seeing a psychiatrist in the first place. Not to mention, about 6 monthes ago, she tried to kill the baby with a four inch rusty nail by stabbing her through her pack’n'play. This was before the chaining to the desk began. Never in a million years would we have ever dreamed this was going on. yes, thanks for all the information it is always nice to hear more about what others know. But, I am sure Lisa used to be a wonderful person…there is some good in everyone (i think). It is obvious the problems in this family just didn’t start here, problems such as this started LONNGGGG ago, like when Lisa was a child. The most obvious diagnosis here, which can be made any layperson, is for Donnie: chronic and longstanding piss-poor parenting skills.

I love “y’all.” But it’s a dangerous word to start using, because once you do you honestly won’t be able to figure out how you got by without it. It’s incredibly useful!

I’d say that the #1 excuse made by asshole abusers is: “it was discipline/punishment/the abused person’s fault.” The very fact that Donnie Shitstain would try to claim that all of this was “discipline” proves what a terrible parent he is. None of the things he did would lead to good behavior. Quite the opposite.
